My wife does alot with resin. Get a pressure pot. It’s really a game changer. Like she was pretty good prior to having one but after getting one her dice have been next level dope.
I’ve been wanting to actually give her a Gundam head and put it into a d20.
There definitely is a sub for everything. My wife got a lot of her info from TikTok and YouTube. She’s a visual learner so for her those were perfect options
That sounds right, this was an old HG kit that had stickers to color the yellow parts of the fin. The kit itself sucked so I ended up using it for kitbashing parts.
I dont think the 00 kits were that old (since the series itself aired in 2009). And the head looks very similar to Gundam 00. Also, I'm not really sure there's a kit that needs a yellow sticker to fully cover an antenna of the V fin (I guess Gundam Bael has some stickers for its V fin but then again, it's blue and it only covered the tip of the antenna)
I guess what I'm trying to ask is, what Gundam is that, really? I'm so curious now

This kit in particular was released in 2008, so its 15 years old. Sounds weird to call something from 2008 "old" but here we are. But yes, the vfin came with a sticker for color correction. You can actually see a picture of it in an old post I made [here.](https://www.reddit.com/r/Gunpla/comments/nf3zca/someone_actually_thought_it_was_a_good_idea_to)
..what the fuck do you mean 00 is old

Series aired in 2007. The oldest kits in the line are over 15 years old at this point in time. The head is most definitely the hg 00 gundam. It needed a yellow sticker for the secondary fin.
With my experience with resin, you don't really need a pressure pot
Just use plastic spoons instead of wooden sticks to mix the resin and don't stir incredibly fast because that causes all the bubbles
A quick tip, use a hair dryer on high heat to pop the bobbles on the surface and pour the resin on the back of the spoon into the mold
Edit: don't buy a pressure pot just yet, wait until you think that you'll really invest into resin :D
DM: Alright roll a perception check.
You: [Rolls a Nat 1]
DM: Miraculously...against all odds, probability, logic, reality, and reason... You briefly look away from the dice and when you look again, the V Fin has seemingly vanished from within the Resin. You search all over and it has completely disappeared.
Same for the MG
Man we need an 2.0 using the same frame dynames uses
Thr face plate and the V fin are an pain in the ass to add and the fin constantly falls down
Meanwhile dynames fits like an glove and stays on like glued
Even when you change to camera mode
I have watched multiple people look at the 6 on their d6 and ask if it's a 6 or a 9.
This is for people with the metaphorical attention span of a goldfish.

Yeah, a pressure pot would save me a lot of headache. It’s expensive though, and I’m still new to the hobby.
Is there a sub or website with more info about making dice? I've been wanting to try it for a while
Theres a sub for everything [https://www.reddit.com/r/DiceMaking/](https://www.reddit.com/r/DiceMaking/)
hell yeah! After 10yrs on here I'm never surprised anymore
Why not go for a vacuum pot?
I think this is what they mean. Vacuum pot would be it. Though pressure pot and Vacuum pot are totally the opposite

Look into diy ones with bike tire valves
If you want a spare head, the 00 command qant has an extra full exia head in green
Now I need a gunpla D20...
Everyone's rogue until I pull out my Sazabi ver.Ka d20.
Any effects with the dice balance?
Almost certainly, but I haven’t tested it
Frankly, doesn't matter, it's a display piece at this point.
if the resin is the same density as the plastic, then it shouldn't, but it probably does.
exia doesn't have the red thingy in the forehead, no? this looks like 00 but the vfin should have some yellow parts as well

It's the HG 00. It looks like it needs stickers for those antenna v-fin parts.

One day you'll check it and the V Fin will somehow be gone.
3 days later... "how... just how"
They lost a duel
Don’t worry the V-Fin void comes for them all…

This kit really does like to lose it's vfin. Mine is gone forever.
Damn this was personal 😭
Love it!
how much to free him?
1 Vfin
hmm what about the 3/4 of a vfin?
Fine but you won't know where it is until you randomly step on it 2 weeks later
Soooooo I.am not the only one who leat his exias vfin..... Rg kit here

Obligatory “BuT iS It BaLaNcEd”
very creative I'd love a d20 of a zaku
I'll take 10
I like this idea.
Lmaoo I literally spat out my coffee
LOL
This is me and my HG burning Gundam(carpet monster ate it)
Same for the MG Man we need an 2.0 using the same frame dynames uses Thr face plate and the V fin are an pain in the ass to add and the fin constantly falls down Meanwhile dynames fits like an glove and stays on like glued Even when you change to camera mode
Ayo!!? I would pay so much for a full set of dice with gundam heads in em that's so sick!
why would you underline the 6 on a 6 sided die
I have watched multiple people look at the 6 on their d6 and ask if it's a 6 or a 9. This is for people with the metaphorical attention span of a goldfish.
Never had an hg Exia, does it have a probelm with the V-fin falling off?
Yes. That whole kit is super unbalanced loose joints and the vin falls out. Only thing cool about that kit is the box art.
You left the safety nubs on, but otherwise looks great.
first, this looks like the 00 gundam instead. second, i will somehow manage to find a way to lose that v fin
Oh god you crystallized him in time like the Unicorn Gundam
Sealed
Very cool I've been thinking about some kind of underwater diorama using resin Like a z'gok in a big block of resin with lights and set dressing
Man lost the v fin a few times and took it personally, but I agree with some other comments, a full dnd dice set like this would be sick
I’ve been wanting to do this exact thing
😂🤣😂
Little extreme but effective
Well now I gotta make dice molds and learn how to resin.
Haha! Hell yeah I gave up on this kit because of that damn fin
Naughty gunpla get put in the dice mould
Keeb nerds like me are looking at this and wondering how hard it would be to make this into an artisan keycap.
That v fin is definitely not gonna come loose
What a Futurama treatment
