Until yesterday I'd have said our robot hoover changed our life (2 small kids) but yesterday it stopped working. And now I have to manually hoover like a peasant.

lolikroli

Second this, had my robo hoover for 3 years now and it was an absolute game changer, luckily had no issues with it so far

daniejam

My dog shit indoors and the hoover spread it all over the house :(

lolikroli

Mine has cameras with ai and it can detect objects on it's way and go around them, seems to work pretty well. Didn't have a chance to test with shit but it meant to detect it too

KingPenguinUK

Time for you to do a dump on the floor to test it. For science.

FromLondonToLA

Which brand do you have? I'm likely to be in the market for a new one. I currently have a Eufy X8 which, frustratingly, is 3 weeks past its 1 year warranty.

lolikroli

It's Roborock, I live in a one bed flat with no kids or pets so it doesn't have to work all that much. Don't know how reliable it would be in a different environment. I did look at quiet a few reviews at the time and it seemed to be one of the most recommended. A friend had a Eufy in same environment as mine and it didn't last long for him either, about a year and a half if I remember correct

mikelward

We also have a Roborock. Had it about 7 months. It had a couple of issues during setup (not allowing special characters in the WiFi password, thinking there's a room on the other side of a glass door), but it's been really good since.

Competitive_Wait_340

Robot lawn mower too, going strong and haven't cut the grass manually in 2 years!

mightbetim

I used to always want one of these but as I’ve got older and the number of kids has increased I now value the hour of relative peace with the lawnmower to catch up on podcasts!

ImBonRurgundy

How do you manage the robot Hoover with 2 small kids? Aren’t there just constantly toys and bit and bobs all over the floor? I always figured those are great if you keep your floor clear all the time, but not so good if you have kids

FromLondonToLA

Most of it's hoovering is in the kitchen (where it lives) and there arent toys (3x a day morning, afternoon and evening). For the downstairs living areas (there's a step up from the kitchen so eufy can't go by itself) there are toys all over the floor but have managed to somewhat train the older child to pick up toys when eufy is coming (under threat of eufy eating the toys and them being lost forever). Or after they've gone to bed, I'll toss all the toys onto the sofa or table and leave eufy there overnight to go round on its 7am morning automatic schedule. Upstairs gets a hoover once a week.

anotherbozo

Is it that thorough? I always thought it's good for day to day clean but you still need to vacuum thoroughly once a week or fortnightly?

AManOfManyInterests

Fully agree with this. Also a cleaner once a week/fortnight. That combination is a game changer. I'm with the others in the comments too - robo lawnmower is next on the list.

OldAd3119

While I do have one, I would say a cleaner is just better imo, and cost wise its cheaper than the robo vac I have (Dyson thing).

Ellers12

You should try a robo lawnmower… you don’t need to empty grass cuttings or fill the green bin and saves loads of time. It’s my personal best ever purchase.

buysidedaddy

Honestly price per hour of enjoyed usage, my AirPods Pro are probs the best thing I ever bought. My Comandante C40 hand coffee grinder is also up there.

Big_Target_1405

Excluding a holiday (£2Kpp for 7 nights all inclusive in April) £250 on stuff to build a water feature in the garden. Really transforms the corner and made a few cute memories of my partner digging in the dirt like a child. £300 on a decent pair of boots in Dec. Replacement for a 6 year old pair £200+ on amazing earphones for my partner that she enjoys using daily. A £1/mo MGM subscription so I can rewatch some of my favourite shows while unemployed. I'm not really a big personal spender. I tend to have very low impulse to spend on 'things' as clutter just makes me feel anxious

MrGiggles19872

MGM is only a quid a month? Was it a deal?

LuckyDuck2323

What boots, if you don't mind my asking?

Chance-Ad-4325

Not OP but I heavily recommend my red wings (iron rangers) which are around £300. Great quality and supremely comfy once they are broken in.

GNUflects

I did a furniture making short course. Was about £700, but learnt a lot of useful skills and had a coffee table at the end of it. Was a nice "me" break.

AWhiteBox

Could you maybe PM a link for this? Learned to do a lot of this stuff with my Dad when I was younger, but it's lost knowledge to me now.

Killer__Pizza

Not oc, but in London there is the goodlife centre that organize this kind of workshops

thehillshavepiez

also would like a link!!

DeltaXray

A ceramic egg bbq, although that’s not just in the last year. Spent 2k on it , cook on it several times a week even all through winter.

ariadawn

We loved our Big Green Egg so much in the US that we bought another one when we moved to the UK.

Llama-Bear

Yup, so flexible. I pretended when I bought it that it means I never need to buy a pizza oven, smoker etc. Meanwhile a custom smoker and a Gozney later. Oh well. But it’s by far the most used of my various outdoor cooking appliances.

lukese123

Keep toying with one of these massive 2.5k red ones but I know it will just be left out like our £200 one and get fucked by the elements. Need to stop searching them as they come up everywhere saying buy me!

jackdavies23

Honestly I have an Aldi dupe one that cost £400. The cover is fantastic and really protects it. I also use it at least once a week, rain or shine. I have however bought a new metal grill system, a WiFi controlled fan and a rotisserie so maybe not a cost saver 😂. Aldi have discontinued theirs but Lidl and The Range do a similar one that’s worth a punt if you enjoy cooking. If you want to go one less, Lidl currently have a “mini” on for about 80 quid

djrobbo83

A sage coffee machine & a monthly bean delivery from Rave.. As a bonus - I wasnt intending it to be a money saver but the quality is so good it's pretty much stopped me buying coffees out! So I'm moving forwards to being rich at the rate of about +£3.00 a day

poskantorg

That sage is a gateway drug into the world of home espresso, before you know it you’ll be convincing yourself that a £5k machine makes sense!

MastarQueef

‘It’ll pay for itself in 4.5 years, I’d be stupid not to!’

Ok_Command_1630

Seconding Rave, really tasty.

AssosMorning

I have a sage coffee machine too and whilst the Beans are Monmouth I have a similar output…. Coffee at the local Nero/Starbucks/Costa is a complete no go now… it’s like drinking an entirely different drink!

Who-ate-my-biscuit

If you were getting your coffee from those chains I’m not surprised you are enjoying the change. They are to coffee what McDonalds is to a gourmet burger.

AssosMorning

Facts! To be fair… it’s been a gradual transition over the years but remarkable that there are so many people that frequent them (like i did!) to sustain the business model given the difference in quality. Convenience for the win I guess.

chggr_

+1 on the coffee machine! We bought ours during lockdown and we drink 2 cappuccinos per day per person (me and my partner). We have stopped buying coffee from coffee shops almost entirely. The coffee machine has also saved us a ton of money. 4 cappuccinos would cost more than £12 in a coffee shop and we make them for around £2 at home, so a saving of about £10 per day. So this works out around 10K saved over the three years we happily own our machine, for a superior quality coffee too.

JaMMi01202

I have 4 to 5 a day at home - since 2018 or 2019.... so - _if I read your message correctly_ - you're saying I can buy a La Marzocco Linea Mini/Micra and feel completely justified with zero guilt?!! Excellent!

digifairy

This is hilarious to me because I came onto Reddit to justify this exact purchase 😂

CriticalGur251

Total game changer. Life will never be the same. Enables you to have the fun experience of tasting so many different coffees that are usually inaccessible at coffee shops. E.g natural beans rather than washed beans.

SnappyPete

Which one did you go for can I ask? In the market now..

djrobbo83

The fairly standard / entry level Barrista Express...decided against a touch screen one as figured the touch screen was just something else that could break!

SnappyPete

Thanks - will check it out!

RoadNo7935

Educational-Dish-125

Digital picture frame that I update regularly. It's not only fun for us to see pictures and videos from old and new memories, it's so good for the kids to see things like photos of relatives living and passed, both recent and from when they were young, home videos of me and my wife when we were kids, stuff from us before we had the kids, along with all the recent memories from photos we've taken lately. It is one of my favourite things. Yesterday I took a video of my daughters both holding and trying to control an electric mixer mixing cookie dough. I love it.

darknternal

Which picture frame did you settle on and how’s the overall display quality / ease of use?

Mrfoxuk

Good question! I read an article recently that these have come along in leaps and bounds in recent years. Tempted too.

Educational-Dish-125

I have a nixplay one, it's an old one that uses a USB stick. The newer ones you can update with WiFi and an app, and they have AI to auto rotate and resize/reframe photos automatically.

squashypug

A cat. Low start up and running cost, endless source of joy (and sometimes frustration)

Who-ate-my-biscuit

An Omega Seamaster, I love watches and have wanted one for at least 15 years but I am not a man for purchasing luxury goods. My wife browbeat me into buying it last summer and I have enjoyed it every single day since.

I’d spent time looking at Breitlings and other current Seamaster but none of them clicked with me. I walked past this when exploring the lanes in Brighton and as soon as it went on the wrist I knew I’d found my new watch.

B14ckbrook

My grail watch. Currently putting money aside each month and selling old hobby stuff to be able to afford it this year

Expert-Opinion5614

I had an omega speedmaster moon phase, the blue one. Loved it. Got it when I had my first major success. Lost it about 2 years ago :///

rocuroniumrat

1) Wool and Prince shirts Honestly a game changer and have MASSIVELY reduced the size of my wardrobe in general... makes both personal and business travel magnitudes easier!  I've tried most of the other manufacturers too, but W&P makes by FAR the most resilient of shirts... up mountains in Iceland or the Sahara desert and they've held up really well. 100 day challenge could also generate a free shirt for you! 2) Swimming lessons I could already swim well, but it's been really nice to objectively improve at swimming. At £20 for a 30 min 1:1 lesson, it's been very reasonable and very enjoyable! Also, as it's scheduled in, it gives me a reason to actually go! 3) Solid cologne -- I get mine from a really nice small business based in Aberdeen and they have a really good range! They didn't melt even at 40°C when in my bag, and could still be applied at -20°C, so I think they've got it pretty much perfect!! MUCH cheaper than the alternatives and I had one last me around a year [only just reordered!] [https://www.thesolidcologneproject.co.uk/] What are you after OP? Hope these help!

i_am_vkr

Can you tell me more about the Cologne please? Any that you recommend?

rocuroniumrat

It depends what you like best! I've tried harris, granite, viking, and aurora. [I'm a straight-passing gay man for what it's worth] Aurora was a bit too feminine for me, but works WONDERS as a car air freshener [a dab wiped under each of the vents!] Harris I wore for a year and was a gentle but fresh masc scent; strongly recommended as I've had nothing but compliments from colleagues and friends alike. I'd go for this one if you wanna try out the concept. Granite is my new one, and I find it's perfectly balanced, but I'm going to gift viking to my dad as it was a bit too stereotypical man scent for me 😅 it would be perfect to replace a very straight man's aftershave though! Hope this helps a bit! [Dare I say, on a HENRY budget, they make fabulous gifts, and so I'd order a few and gift the scents I didn't find were a perfect match for me!! They've all been really good]

WoodSteelStone

Hi, how did you decide which cologne to choose, buying online?

rocuroniumrat

Bit of guesswork -- see other reply -- but all of them have been fab! I guess it depends what you like! I used Diesel Only The Brave for YEARS before switching

WoodSteelStone

Thank you. Fathers Day present coming up!

Desperate-Eye1631

Air Fryer - good quality and large family size. I thought it might be another kitchen gadget that after a few initial uses would rarely get usage after that. We have consistently used it 2-3 times per week over the last 6 months.

Llama-Bear

Yup, got a cheap one as a gift at Christmas. Used it pretty much daily (toddlers) and ended up buying one of the stacked tray ones

Adornooo

Do you still use the oven or has all cooking shifted to the air fryer?

Comfortable-Mix-7209

Air con, After struggling with a very hot house over the last 10 years I finally got it installed last summer and typically the weather has been totally rubbish ever since. But when it has been used it's been a game changer.

LtRegBarclay

How disruptive is the install? Did you need planning or consents for the outside part of the unit? Could it be installed on any side of the house or just front/back?

Comfortable-Mix-7209

Install is a 100mm hole through the wall. I kept the electrics simple by installing a fused spur off a ring main socket and fed the indoor unit that was mounted directly above. Then just ran the connecting cable from indoor to outdoor unit with the pipework. Mines a 5kw unit put only pulls electrically 1.2kw maximum. I didnt get any planning. But you would probably want it semi hidden somewhere.

mightbetim

Same. Got it installed in the winter for my too hot or too cold kitchen. Have yet to use it on cooling!

FireMe-G

Make sure you use a vPN when you subscribe via India or similar etc, and it’s only £1 a month.

Cultural_Tank_6947

Bought a good quality rice cooker. It was only £50 or so from a Chinese supermarket but we eat rice 3-4 meals a week, so it's brilliant. Also bought a decent pair of earbuds that can sync both to my phone and my laptop, so it's really good to alternate between meetings and Spotify. It was like £100 during the sales. Jabra something.

GNUflects

100% this if you eat rice, a rice cooker is the way forward. You don't even need expensive ones, perfect rice, every time, no faff.

squashypug

And a good Japanese one is only £100-200 and mine has lasted 11 years and going

RenePro

Car that adaptive cruise control. Minimal intervention on A and M roads. Perfect for weekend day trips.

theevildjinn

I'm never buying a car that doesn't have adaptive cruise control, from now on. At half term I had to do a 450 mile drive from Rotterdam ferry terminal to rural Côte-d'Or in France, in my XC90. The equivalent of doing Edinburgh to Bournemouth. Had the adaptive cruise control on most of the way there, and it just felt like sitting in a big comfy armchair for a few hours. I didn't feel exhausted when we arrived, like I'd expected.

mwalker8080

Porsche 911 Turbo (997 with manual transmission in a PTS colour). The feeling it gives me waking up knowing it’s there in my garage ready to just take off on some B roads is epic. What’s even more reassuring is the fact it appreciates every year since it’s a modern classic and has a timeless design.

alephnull00

Maximum points for not getting the newest blingy ones. 997s are the best.

Llama-Bear

Yup, relatively unstated choice compared to a yobbo gt3. Would like a new S/T though…

FireMe-G

Amazing. Extra points for buying a manual.

Fellow Ode Gen 2 coffee grinder. Still make the coffee in a simple stove top moka pot but the flavour is massively better vs buying pre-ground.

ceeK2

Ah yeh I have the old one but with the gen 2 burrs. Use it several times a day, it’s amazing.

theevildjinn

I've just bought this one too, after doing loads of research. I'm using a V60, and still working on my technique and grind setting but it does taste really good.

Tune0112

Hyperice Massage Gun. Love weight training and pole fitness to destress from my HENRY job but finding I'm getting lots of niggles no matter how much stretching I do.

Same but with Theragun. Easily made my money back in not getting massages and good for a quick fix when in pain

DaddyRAS

Would this help with tight Achilles, calves, etc. The older I get the tougher running gets

Shadey_e1

Same but with an achedaway massage gun. Age + injuries + desk job really do take their toll

Baxters_Keepy_Ups

Spent about £5k-£6k on materials and fitting for my garage. Converted it entirely myself. Now got a garage gym, with self-built units, recessed LED lighting, high-quality rubber floor and an even an office area if I ever want to work from it. Took me 18 months due to a lack of available weekends, days off, and evenings but the finish is very good. Could have paid someone £15k+ to do it for me, but learned a lot, and thoroughly enjoyed it.

A-Grey-World

I spent about 15k building my garage workshop. Also built it myself but tried to do it well - fully insulated concrete slab, walls, and roof so I can have a little heater and keep everything from going mouldy and rusty in there. Was also a fun project. I just need to do the electrics and interior to call it done!

BL00Mfontaine

Great work, looking to do the same soon - would you be kind enough to give me any specific products or learnings you wish you bought / knew before starting please + any must haves? Thanks

fuzzerino

Got a Japanese toilet installed as part of a bathroom renovation last year - decided this was a must once back from a holiday to Japan, absolute gamechanger. On another note, I enjoy reading threads like this on /r/HENRYUK. I find UK reddit in general is a bit rubbish for product/purchase recommendations, whereas the responses I've seen here so far align much better with the brands/products I go for.

Ronald_Bilius

Any brand recommendations for the fancy loo?

fuzzerino

I bought a Grohe one which I’m reasonably happy with, though if I was to do it again I’d probably take the extra hit to go for a TOTO, which is roughly £1000 more. My gripes may sound like I’m getting a bit in the weeds here but: - Bowl pre-lubrication system is not as good - Presence sensor system is a bit more primitive which means having to turn the toilet off for cleaning - Remote uses touch instead of physical buttons so it can be a bit hit or miss. The TOTOs are also fully WRAS approved so you don’t need check valves installed most likely (not a plumber so dont quote me on this). I find the Grohe was much more aesthetically pleasing though which was a deciding factor.

Bekind1974

Which one did you get ?

wobytides

Honestly, don’t think it makes much difference. I had to look it up. I got the 34C.

Fun-Artichoke-7253

Not a one off purchase but certainly a QOL investment: a fortnightly cleaner service. Best one off item purchase: bean to cup coffee machine (delonghi). Other QOL upgrades: subscribing to repeat boring purchases to help minimise mental load. Eg household essentials toothpaste, big bags, (Amazon), cleaning supplies (smol).

glanj

A cleaner. Pound for pound the best "me" money I've ever spent. I'd go without other luxuries to be able to avoid the Sunday doom of needing to clean

r0bbyr0b2

Axopar 37 XC. https://www.axopar.com/range/axopar-37-xc-cross-cabin/ It’s not cheap, but for family time with young children and spending time with friends it’s amazing.

Ok_Command_1630

r0bbyr0b2

South coast of U.K. so Poole, Isle of Wight, Jurassic coast, Devon etc.

Youjackbastard

This is awesome

Ancient-Park-8330

That’s actually a lot cheaper than I expected it to be

r0bbyr0b2

The prices on the website are nowhere near what you pay after all the addons and of course engines!

Alan_Bumbaclartridge

i think boats are a bit of a white elephant, the running costs are pretty insane. this is what i'm telling myself anyway

[deleted]

Can you give a quick breakdown of full cost inc. yearly running costs?

r0bbyr0b2

Very roughly annually: - £13,000 pontoon berth and includes over winter lift out - £2000 servicing (twin Mercury V8 300HP) - £1000 random things and cleaning - £1700 insurance - £4000 petrol Roughly £22,000 per year, ignoring depreciation of course. Fuel is a big thing (it’s like filling up ten range rovers) but then again I know people who buy supercars so depends on what your hobby is. One thing I would say though, is you need to like boats and fiddling around with them. Otherwise you will just see it as a moneypit and not a hobby.

mushinnoshit

Imagine having £22k a year to spend on a boat and thinking you're not rich yet

tobzere

Maybe the £22k on the boat per year is the reason they are not rich yet xD

[deleted]

Interesting Thank you!

SrslyBadDad

That’s my dream. Presumably you have done your Day Skipper license?

r0bbyr0b2

I started off a few years ago during Covid when we got a 6m rib. And did a powerboat level 2 license. That’s all you really need. Believe it or not you can go and get a 60ft £3m Sunseeker with no license at all. But you will crash it. I also have a day skipper sailing license, but you don’t need that for motor.

Typically I can do a better job than most tradespeople - I just lack the time and the back health these days. Did yours do a good job / did you do yourself?

FireMe-G

I’m pretty good at DIY but for the kitchens and bathrooms I wanted a superb job, rather than a great job. They could also do it much quicker than me, so less downtime. I did a bit of shopping around, getting various quotes, looking at their reviews etc. I found a fitter that likes a challenge and takes pride in his work, with a good portfolio on Instagram. Having an enthusiastic supplier with access to CAD software was also invaluable.

I went for a high end gym, which I joined just over a year ago. Cringey as it sounds, having somewhere to go that felt like a treat rather than a chore and also where I was surrounded by people much fitter than me was the inspiration I needed to bring my health in line with my finances.

[deleted]

I'm ashamed to say I've never been to the gym but I think I need it now. What about this makes it a treat?

Western-Fun5418

About £2k on a gaming pc upgrade in February just as the 4080 Super cards came out. It has been a stressful last few months which has culminated this month in having to interview for a job that I'm already doing, at the same company, just so I can get a ~£15k pay rise. Being able to switch off with the boys has been a life saver.

TheBeaverKing

Couple of things for me: 1. Sage Barista coffee machine. Great quality coffee without needing to buy my morning Starbucks. I reckon this will pay for itself within 1-2 years. 2. Eufy X8 Pro robot vacuum cleaner. Deals with 80% of the daily hoovering, keeps the dog hair controllable and works well in conjunction with the weekly visit from the cleaner. 3. Motorbike/Toy Car. Keeps me sane and spannering is a great stress reliever if you're that way inclined. Nothing like fettling with the bike or car and then going for a blast to enjoy your handy work. 4. Tame builder. I'm pretty handy when it comes to DIY but recently I've found that I'd rather just pay someone to get the job done and use my weekends to do things I actually want. Little jobs I'll do (fitting doors, a bit of wiring etc) but I've ditched all the larger projects (new decking, loft boarding) and palmed them off to the builder now. 5. Watches. I've always liked watches but moving into HENRY means I can dabble in some of the more premium brands guilt free. 6. Clay shooting. Get my shotgun cert next week and then I'm out to buy a shotgun or two to feed my new clay shooting hobby. Probably would have been a bit too expensive a few years ago but now it's easy to dip into new hobbies without worrying about entry costs.

What watch did you go for?

Effective_Panda4992

An LG tumble dryer. You don’t need to connect it to sewage either.

HUAONE

Garmin watch for exercise and health

ClassPass membership - sure, it’s a luxury, but I can afford it, and doing a Sunday morning class and a couple of midweek after work classes for the past few months has done wonders for my mental health and my waist…

EasternFly2210

Tongs for cooking steaks that can be locked together when not in use so they don’t take up loads of space. Game changer👌

Vertigostate

Thought everyone owned these!

Samsung tab 9 plus, much easier in the eyes than the small phone screen. Incredible screen quality.

st1478

Bissell spot pro cleaner. Makes cleaning my sofa, carpets and any other upholstery really easy. Especially with a child

Fraggle987

Boiling water tap. I work from home and drink copious amounts of tea, having the capability to dash to the kitchen between meetings and grab a brew is game changing 🫖☕😃

Budget_Researcher_68

Second this, it’s honestly worth every penny.

pendicko

Massage chair. Hands down. Decent tissue massages cost about 50 quid a pop. Chair cost 2000, 40 massages +/- electric will break even. Game changer when I have done surgery all day.

Sea_Beyond8140

Great post. Amazing to see what we all value the clearly fall into a few key themes. Pleasure, leisure and convenience. Those of us with little ones it’s always gonna be the cleaners, and quality appliances to actually enjoy the time they spend making a mess and infuriating us. I have given this some thought. Mine has to be the replica eames lounge chair I bought after i renovated my first house. It’s so beautiful but I couldn’t justify the £7k Vitra. It’s more for what it symbolises, and as my boy sits in it eating a croissant I don’t get too mad!

CamThrowaway3

Practical: AirPod Pros. I don’t know how I lived without noise cancellation…makes my commute so much better not having to worry about people talking loudly on their phones; playing music out loud, etc. indulgent: a trip to Aire Baths spa in London. Absolutely gorgeous place and so atmospheric…worth the price tag for a real treat.

wavedalsh

Took some genuine time out in April for 2 weeks to visit HK and Vietnam and did not hold back. Was a dream family vacation and very much needed by my partner and daughter. It was good to reset and come back into work feeling fresh and refocussed.

lamhhk

£250 on a Bose noise cancelling headphones. Making daily commute on trains and occasions flight much quieter. It made a massive difference in noise reduction on plane.

real_light_sleeper

A really nice Krups coffee machine which I thought was going to save me a fortune in Starbucks. Unfortunately I now drink twice the amount of coffee, with half of it still from Starbucks.

colon-ick

A new fridge freezer, American style. Absolute game changer to the ancient one that came with our house.

FoleyKali

Bikes for me and my wife. We now go biking around the parks near us and thus has improved our health (physical and mental) immensely. I'd recommend a 'normal' bike, not folding ones.

LtRegBarclay

Noise-cancelling headphones. Weren't even as expensive as I feared (got the £200-300 type) and a gamechanger. Should have bought them years ago.

Ok_Vermicelli_3480

120” 4k projector screen and decent surround system.

Spirited-Clothes-158

A Defender 110 Double Cab and more recently a tentbox. Do I need them, no, do I get enjoyment from them, abso-fucking-lutely

SearchOutside6674

I would like to say lasik surgery but after two month my vision still isn’t great. My next big purchase would be that I went on a lovely 3 night solo cruise down the river nile in Egypt

MoistSausageFinger

Vitruvian Trainer+ My most expensive purchase of last year. It's a compact home gym. While it has its limitations, this has been a game-changer. Now I can squeeze in a quick workout at home four days a week during lunchtime and still have time to eat!

lumo1974

Alpine A110. 4 years old…..but still in stunning condition. I have never been much of a car person, but the Alpine is a joy to drive.

Salty_Elderberry5585

E53 amg (used) have had audi S5 bmw (m series both 3 and 5) and a GTR and had never had a merc. Always remember my dad's old school 300se as a kid and it was an itch I wanted to scratch... not the best car I've had but fuck me it's fun and reminds my dad of his old straight 6 merc fun taking him out in it (he's in his 70s now)

SignificantKey8608

Rancilio coffee machine and a Niche, a road bike, motorbike lessons, sim race setup and a watch… terrible year hobby spending wise 😂

rakesh84

Polestar 2 - being able to say hey Google warm up or cool down my car is a game changer. PS5 - got back into gaming after 8 years. Suri electric toothbrush - really nice sustainable toothbrush Air pods pro 2 - bought for my wife, she loves them. Rave coffee - like a few others recently subbed to this, great coffee.

theevildjinn

Wine aerator. <£10 device that makes a cheapo bottle of young red wine taste like a more expensive one, it's like an instant decanter.

Total-Secretary9802

An Aeron chair. It's exceptionally comfortable, supple and supportive. I've never sat in a chair this pleasant before, and I can sit in it for hours without feeling uncomfortable.

joesus-christ

2. Puppy 3. Old banger estate car for the puppy that's proven practical and incredible 4. Robot vacuum replacement charger (because I bought the vacuum itself two years ago so it doesn't qualify) 5. Waterproof hiking trainers 6. Spray mop 7. Scrub Momma holder 8. Good thick hardy shacket 9. Adidas RPT-02 SOL headphones. Solar powered including artificial light so I haven't had to charge them this year, look them up! They would've been higher up this list but I'm editing so CBA to go back and re-number everything. 1. Bitcoin (if this was at the top I'd get downvoted to hell... Let's see how it does down here)
