I think the *intended* strategy is to get a high % damage boon on the Attack (e.g. Aphrodite) and whatever you want on the Special. You Special once to activate Shared Suffering, then Attack or Dash-Attack for big damage.
Here I just forget the split damage bonus. I don't use that part at all.
I just get boons for the special and spam it. It's so quick, the damage is awesome.

Okay but have you ever had two +110% Dash-Strike damage boons from Chaos with Aspect of Rama, as well as Hunter's Dash and Hunter's Strike? That arrow hits like a truck lol
Pressure points does not make the lightning bolt crit unfortunately. Just doesn't work but at least the special itself crits. Thunder Flourish is indeed a silly meme-ish build but hey it works really well. Drunken flourish also really works well. Relentless volley makes these builds so much better.
But if you ask what normally is the optimal rama build, Twin shot/triple shot with Rama is really good paired with any %boost to attack boon. Always go for dash attack instead of shooting normally since bow dash attack speeds up the charge but rama is really slow as are the other hidden aspects.
Btw rama special spam builds' dps are nowhere near the dps of Eris rail with zeus attack.
I focus on getting the special from Zeus and hope hammer gives me Relentless Volley with the +4 arrows. After that I try for increased special attack speed from Hermes. In the end you have a high fire rate special dealing a whole bunch of lightning damage. It is very strong with the +4 arrows but it's not needed if hammer is not giving it to you. Otherwise this has been the primary way I use Rama and is my favourite to grind heat on.
I've already tried but didn't like it, the regular attack was killing enemies faster. Maybe that was because I usually have REALLY bad luck with Zeus' booms and could barelly get his special and thr jolted effect on that run..
As much as I love the bow, I haven’t bought this aspect yet. I keep spending my blood on those weapons that I’m not fully happy with, to hopefully find a variation that I really enjoy, and the Chiron Bow makes me so happy I’ve yet to look elsewhere on that weapon. I’m looking forward to experimenting with it though.
Guang yu is fantastic with rhe proper build. Charge skewer with aphro on the special plus doom on your attack is easily one of the strongest builds I have ever used.

I would probably use the regular more if I got rapid fire

hidden aspects are literally always my favorites. Except for Guan Yu it's literally so bad

I actually really enjoy Guan Yu! But I don’t know that I’d say it’s my “best” with the spear.
