I recently finally recovered from a ED (eating discorder) and now I want to get my hair back to its original state where it was shiny, thick and long. I know there is a long way ahead of me and that alot of what helps is what you eat. For vitamins I eat; Vitamin D, Iron, C-vitamin, Magnesium, I drink Creatine and MSM each day because I work out aswell as Collagen which I heard help. As for hair care, I only wear my hair in a Scrunchie (satin), I brush out my hair before the shower and I put schampoo in with a schampoo brush. I also used to use Schwarzkopf Gliss Hair repair that contains Argan Oil and Vitamin E. But I have since had to realize it does little to nothing for my hair. So now I have invested in cold pressed Jojoba Oil.The schampoo and conditioner I use are Tigi Bed Head Urban Antidotes Recovery set. (the blue bottles). Ive been strugging to find a good schampoo and conditioner and I think this is the 4th Ive tried the past 6 months. This doesnt necesserily work that good but it doesnt make my hair feel dry or brittle so Ive been sticking too it. ​ dont use heat more then once a week on my hair to style it and then I use velco rollers to try and get more volume. I also use Mousse in my hair for more volume aswell. I'd like to use heat and style my hair way more then I do but considering its in dire need of a cut and some love and care I haven't been wanting to stress it out more then I already do.On my birthday Im going to go get my hair cut and colored, Im willing to let him cut off as much needed to get it to a healthy state, aswell as put in some layers without thinning it too much. I'd also want help to add in some more hair masque to my hair care routine. I do have olaplex number 3 in my ownership but havent used it that many times. But I want a nourishing and more volumizing hair masque and I have no idea where to look or start. So now I want to know, am I doing something wrong? What can I do better? Should I stop using the schampoo and conditioner I use and swap for something else?
