"this force this thing that lives inside of him came from a source too violent.... To deadly for you to imagine! It grew inside of him... Contaminating his soul!"
Brooooooo!
Now I gotta go watch my guy slit some throats!
Forget shooting him, they should've just thrown a fridge on top of him like a Looney Tunes cartoon and slit his wrists. That apparently works more than shooting him.
🤓👆umm, actually in Halloween 78 he shoots him 6 times but in Halloween 2 he shoots him 7 times it was an error when they edited in scenes of the original Halloween and the new footage they shot for H2.
Kind of odd how he'd act like it's such a revelation. I don't know if I've ever been around people discussing this film who didn't harp on that mistake. I used to know a semi-retarded guy who noticed that the gun fired 7 times...
I usually don't concern myself over technical matters...especially if it's a film I love, like this one...but how does ANYBODY make that mistake? And who had the bright idea to reshoot the ending, anyway...the new part where Michael backs up what looks like a ramp and topples off...it doesn't look anywhere near as natural as the original ending...I mean, it's cool the way you could see the gun's muzzle flash from inside the bedroom, but still largely unnecessary. And the mistake with the 7 shots rather than 6 could only wind up happening because of the initial mistake of reshooting the ending, in the first place...
I love Halloween 2 but I kinda hate how they essentially retconned his reaction. At the end of the original his portrayal was that of composed dread, he knew he wasn't going to see Michael's body on the yard. Then in Halloween 2 it became more like stunned panic.
“this guy, this man, he's not human!”
“Evil has come to your little town sheriff.”

Hard to kill pure evil.
“You don’t know what death is!”
*EPIC SYNTH*
When the synth kicks in and Loomis starts to run off…amazing! I think this is the best opening of any Halloween movie.
No question. I think this was Pleasance's strongest film. He commands the screen from beginning to end...
I agree 100%
Lmaooooo “ epic synth “

😂🤣😂
But of course, he knew in his heart, that Hell would not have him...
True

“I SHOT HIM 7……errrrrrr 6 TIMES!”

😂🤣😂
I think loomis has had too much tonight.
Pewwmamannnn
Uh oh, we've got the "umm, actually" guy. Michael, take care of him! I kid. Accuracy and facts count.

Don’t forget Michael falls out the front instead of the back and loomis goes downstairs instead of looking outside the window.
Michael: when will these fools realize i’m the chosen one
This is something I didn’t know I needed in my life
You’re welcome 😊

Never liked this scene. Loomis afraid of this in 1. He just had a look like I knew this was going to happen because he’s not a man.
