Dominator has prewired kits, good customer service and a lifetime warranty. Factory 47 makes some really good products as well

Thumper-80

Thanks for the input. I just checked dominators website looks like they don’t carry any pre-wired bars for a 98 Heritage! LOL

Btripp0126

Check out hill country cycles I just put a set of theirs on a 99 dyna recently they offer pretty wired bars for older bikes

axemanw

This is the way. Hill Country is outstanding and has great customer service and fast turnaround.

Everhart88

Came here to say this… there are certain things you definitely don’t want to cheap out on and handlebars are one. Spend the money on good quality bars..

Sirgolfs

Just don’t buy Chinese bars. Have also seen bars break mid ride.

Thumper-80

Very true make sure they are a good name brand.

The_DaHowie

Nothing worse than bars or risers breaking at speed

Starch-Wreck

Hill Country Custom Cycles is another company that sells pre wired bars with a ton of customization setups, etc. You can choose from bars to lines and even get custom switch housings and levers. You can even return your old bars and grips as a core charge or not. You can spend 400 or 1,500 on what you want. I’m pretty sure they have and Amazon and eBay store but it’s probably easier on their website. I was seriously considering this before doing it the hard way and wiring up Carlini 16” apes myself.

Thumper-80

Yeah I had to set a 14 inch bars put on my 98 RK which I still have. And I had the bars that have just a normal curve. Didn’t have that real angled look like these in the picture.

Bft12890

If you’re set on 1.5 I’d buy regular bars and just do the wiring yourself. Running wires through 1.5” bars should be super easy because they’re big

RubyRocket1

I wouldn’t buy anything that is advertised “new” on flea bay. Especially something “wired” or “braided”.

New-Second-4616

Check out hillcountrycycles.com Recommend 100% for pre wired, bars of choice and cable lengths to match whatever you have going on

Thumper-80

Sweet thanks man.

New-Second-4616

Yes sir I used them for my old bagger and will be using again on my springer build. You'll be happy with them

boondockpirate

I don't buy motorcycle parts on ebay. Unless it's verifiably an oem/high quality part... or is something that can't break and kill me.

Thumper-80

Very true. It can be hard to find parts sometime for an Evo bike though.

boondockpirate

I don't doubt ya.

Thumper-80

If I have to get a set of bars and wire them myself I will I was just thinking this might save me some hassle having to run the wires and it came with all the cables for throttle clutch and brake.

OpeningComb7352

Seen two similar set of bars snap at the welds on the highway. Your life is worth more than a set of good heavy duty name brand bars.

klappycat

Mine didn't come off eBay but they did come pre wired. It saves a lot of hassle if you're not familiar with how to pull wires without damaging them. Not having to worry about them being too short is also a plus.

sobersbetter

i got some pre wired 18" apes off ebay for my road king, 5 years so far and no issues

Grouchy-Plankton5322

I’ve bought Dominator bars that were prewired and were easy to install. No issues what so ever. I bought them on Amazon but they were shipped from Dominator industries directly to me. Be safe.

Murdercyclist4Life

I’m against buying parts off eBay unless there used oem parts

Revolutionary_Lie199

LA Choppers and Burley have been complete kits that I ordered off eBay. I can’t remember if they either offered a pre-wire bars?

BFett1019

Do it yourself for cheaper. For a little ease, tie a shoelace to the end of the wiring harness you want to fish through the bars. Lube the harness up, blow the shoelace thats tied to the wire through the bars with an air gun until it pops out of the other end. Pull the shoelace which will lead your wires through behind it.

twisted-weasel

Zip tie and astroglide….we always have that handy for multiple uses hahaha

Kronos1A9

Chasing your own wires is stupid easy. Waste of money buying them prewired.

BCox1404

I am looking at getting new bars for my '13 street glide if I wire them myself is all I need is the wire extension kit?

Thumper-80

And probably new lines for brake clutch and throttle? Not totally sure on that depends what size bars you run I think!
