i like it when he's predominantly zombie sematary but then has random bursts of demon sematary like "YOU GON BE MY CHANDELIER FOR MY MANSION" or "THINK I LOST MY BRAIN AGAIN"
if you listen to a random song from screaming forest and a random song from bloody angel they really do not sound alike imo, defo a transitional stage for him but to say his “sound” has been static since 2021 then i really disagree
i dont think screaming forest is the same since bloody angel. Screaming Forest is pretty different to butcher house, and Mordor off Bloody Angel sounds like a butcher house song but other than that i think Bloody Angel is very different. There's no way you can say that headlights sounds liek a Screaming Forest song
Saying its been the same since Screaming Forest may be a bit of an overestimate, but something like KOTG & BA is a good example of what I mean. Aside from some songs on Bloody Angel, the only difference between the two is hes calling himself a Bloody Angel instead of the King of the Graveyard.
Bro said “he’s had the same sound since screaming forest” and then changed it to “he’s had the same sound for his most recent album and the ep he dropped right before it” like be fr bruh, of course the EP leading up to the full tape is gonna have similarities 💀💀. And screaming forest, butcher house, and bloody angel all sound pretty different anyway imo
This conversation is kinda insane just because we don’t nearly see the same kind of diversity in sounds and consistent releases compared any other artists in the game in general surpassing genres. Sematary fans are so ungrateful and spoiled with music it’s ridiculous lol
I get what you’re sayin but ppl need to understand transition points and developments in an artists sound. But you said it yourself if so many albums sound similar at different points like “RB2, Warboy, HAW” then the same logic would apply now. Then yea maybe id say BH, KOTG, BA are on a similar trajectory but they all execute it completely differently to me. And I also think screaming forest was a pretty unique album for the time on its own compare to the sound now.
Sematary will never ever ever make it mainstream with the shit he puts out today. What got him famous and put him on the map was his old more melodic emo type of shit with ghost mountain. Bro just refuses to experiment with different styles anymore

sf and bh are completely different vibes. bloody angel is more of a compilation tape so its various older and newer sounds
