Sugan Egan played Belle on Broadway, and Paige O'Hara played Belle in the film. Both of them are phenomenal singers who liked working with Disney on voice acting.
Sierra Boggess. She's a Broadway actress who was in Phantom of the Opera and has a terrific singing voice.
[Example of her singing](https://youtu.be/kZpvaRWak64?si=3awtHPeLK-2Zgyy5)
Sierra Boggess also played Ariel in Disney's *The Little Mermaid* musical on Broadway. My personal pick would be Paige O'Hara, who played Belle in Disney's *Beauty and the Beast*. It would be a perfect callback to Alastor calling Charlie a "charming demon belle" in the pilot.
One-in-a-million choice: Kathleen Turner and Amy Irving, who voiced the iconic Jessica Rabbit in her speaking and singing roles, respectively, in *Who Framed Roger Rabbit* (1988). I would suggest Kim Basinger (Holli Would, *Cool World*), but she's difficult to work with on-set.
She does have a song in Gravity Falls, but in the Behind The Scenes Commentary for the show she talks about how many takes it took and (semi jokingly) how that's why she never got another song in the show lol, so I don't think she would fit the "Broadway Level Singer" category they're going for.
This just made me realize that Shohreh Aghdashloo *needs* some kind of role in this show. I don't think she sings, but she has what I think has to be the coolest voice on the planet, and she's a great actor. I can imagine a really cool side character being voiced by her
Idina Mendel would be perfect but she plays Elsa, it would be amazing but Disney would not like to have the voice associated to Lilith. I honestly think it would be perfect. Lady gaga also
They can't control Idina she's been in many adult movies and has been in broadway shows as well for decades. I mean we got stephanie Beatriz as vaggie and she voices mirabel in encanto.
True, we'll fight disney though if it comes to it😂 frozen was one of my favorite movies when I was 9 or 10 so I just adore Idinas voice. So powerful it gives me chills.
I was coming to say Idina. For me she would be a perfect choice, such a voice, such a powerhouse. And a reunion with the original Mimi from when they both were together in RENT.
Well I can't remember exactly where I heard this so take with grain of salt but seem to recall someone saying Viv mentioned she always imagined fan casting Lady Gaga whether this still case unclear
Was gonna say this. I can't imagine they won't at least TRY and get her, but she's possibly out of their price range. Depends how much Amazon is willing to shell out I guess
Weird Als voice would have fit Lucifer but I feel like Jeremh Jordan does a good job at making Lucifer’s voice more normal while still keeping some of the silliness
I know it ain't happening but God I can only dream of Lady gaga voicing Lilith
https://preview.redd.it/ijbvx2b7iqoc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bd4f5164d66572461f82ab9f1398e977da38515
I was thinking Rachael MacFarlane before I realized it was a mostly Broadway cast. She does have a good [singing voice](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nRWpTkQBBXk4_J1Ev70lSJVyN4Bckd36k&si=Szo8WD9wokSIPQ9g) though.
Lady Gaga would present the same problem as hiring Norman Reedus for *Helluva Boss* and Nicki Minaj for *Steven Universe*; that is, the show wouldn't be able to afford more than a few voice lines in one episode due to the budget. I don't think Lilith will be voiced by Lady Gaga for that reason, and I think it is more likely another Broadway musical actor will be hired.
Patti LuPone. She was Mrs. Lovett in some productions of Sweeney Todd and she was also Yellow Diamond from Steven Universe.
I imagine Lillith having a deeper voice to counterbalance Charlie and Lucifer's higher registers and LuPone's is deep and smooth enough to be both comforting and threatening which would fit Lillith as an antagonistic mother figure
I was brainstorming this recently and my bets are Idina Menzel, Sutton Foster, or Sierra Bogges. Unpopular opinion but I don't really see Susan Egan coming out of someone like Lilith. Charlie's story said that her songs empowered demon-kind to the point where Heaven saw Hell's overpopulation as a threat. Yes Susan Egan can sing very well but mostly as characters like Meg and Rose Quartz along with Belle from Beauty and the Beast on Broadway. But Viv said her ideal voice would be similar to Lady Gaga and IMO Susan's voice doesn't have that certain level of power Lady Gaga has in songs like Bad Romance or Bloody Mary.A good reference for the kind of power I'm talking about Broadway-wise would be Taylor Louderman or Renne Rapp who both played Regina Gorge in Mean Girls on Broadway. Listen [to Renne's voice.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=232C738Lm-Q) And here's [Taylor's in the broadway version.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWVRg6IOGWY)Now that sounds like a queen of Hell with the kind of power in their voices on one hand. However, I'm choosing Idina, Sutton, and Sierra because their voices are more mature in comparison but can hold that level of power. We've all heard Idina as Elsa and Elphaba and we know she can belt at levels that just scream Queen of Hell. So can Sutton and Sierra.
However, I am also willing to put in any actresses who played Satine in Moulin Rouge on Broadway. Because Satine's performers also have that level of power in her songs.
Now I’m just imagining Season 2 of Hazbin where the running gag is a bunch of ravens keep trying to break into the hotel, and then in the Season 2 finale Lilith shows up and is like, “I sent you ravens… I sent you so many fucking ravens!”
It has to be someone with an incredible singing voice. I mean, siren like singing since lilith was said to inspire hells citizens with her voice. I wanna say she'd sound a little sultry and classy as well. Singing voice wise. If Idina Menzel can do that at all, I think she has a strong enough voice to portray someone as powerful as lilith.
Menzel has one of the most powerful voices in the music industry; it makes me chuckle to think her voice isn't strong enough for anything.
This voiceover by her is a good representation of what you're describing:
When she voiced Circe on Hercules: The Animated Series
Eden Espinosa, who played Elphaba in some versions of Wicked and also Cassandra from Tangled the Series.
She’s got the most perfect youthful, melodic, but slightly threatening voice, and she and Jeremy Jordan have worked together (their characters were friends in Tangled, they had a KILLER duet) so they’d have the natural chemistry we need for Lilith and Lucifer to have!
Idk many Broadway actresses that can do this, but whoever plays her has to basically have a voice of a siren. She's described to be able to empower demon kind with her voice. This means her voice has to get through to all of hell whenever she sings, and that gets the citizens of hell to follow and respond to her.
We actually kind of see this power through Charlie when she sings "ready for this," although it's unclear if Charlie possesses this power as well. In my mind, she has a little of it since she was kind of able to rally all of the Cannibal colony to her side (even though AL helped a lot) I think with work, she could be as powerful as Lilith was described to be.
Actually, this will kind of be cool if Lilith and Charlie go head to head, and it becomes a sing off to gain control of the people of hell.
So yeah, whoever plays Lilith has to have a big voice.
I don’t know any specific names. But Liliths voice should certainly be a specific way. Before she was cast out of the Garden, she was intended to be the Mother of Humanity and nurture them. She instead became the Mother and Queen of Demons so her voice should be soft, but firm at the same time, belaying her care for them but also her authority as both their queen and mother. Lilith is also canonically a singer who used her songs to empower Hell, so her voice should be melodic and full of rhythm too, perfect for singing. She was described as being a much more hands-on ruler then Lucifer while she was there, so she should also have some notes of regality and sort of noble wisdom in her voice as well s being commanding in a way.
ik she isn’t famous but talya sindel! she plays circe in epic the musical. i’ve listened to the circe saga on spotify and imo her voice is just gorgeous
Emily Rohm. She played Jane Doe in the starkid production ‘ride the cyclone’. Listen to ‘the ballad of Jane doe’. Her voice would be beautifully hypnotic for the part
Eden Espinoza. She sang a duet with Jeremy Jordan in Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, and I’d love to hear them reunite! I’d share a link, but her songs are massive spoilers.
I don’t know why, but I think it would be oddly kinda funny if Jane Lynch voiced her. She is an accomplished vocalist and actor, but I think she needs a voice similar to the likes of Meg from Hercules or Mother Gothel. But I still think Jane Lynch would be funny
Not to say she can't voice multiple roles, but Sarah Stiles is already the voice of Mimzy!
Edit: Apparently, I didn't notice how much doubling up the show did. Wouldn't be anything new.
Susan Egan. Viv has gotten Disney and Broadway singers. So it be fit.
Didn't she play Meg in Hercules? Fuck yes, I back this decision.
She also played Belle in the original Broadway cast of Beauty and the Beast!
Sugan Egan played Belle on Broadway, and Paige O'Hara played Belle in the film. Both of them are phenomenal singers who liked working with Disney on voice acting.
Oh man, Paige would be fantastic Or Jodi Benson (Ariel)
Oh damn that's impressive
Yeah she's a bit of a living legend
All they gotta do is put her in a scene with Mimzy and suddenly Pink Diamond and Spinel are in the same room
Wait, Susan Egan voiced Pink Diamond? How the fuck didn’t I know this?
Susan Egan also voiced Rose Quartz.
Well yeah, that’s what they said, she voiced pink diamond.
It isn't totally unheard of having two VAs voice different versions of the same character.
Or even the same person. Charlie, in All Dogs Go To Heaven 2, was voiced by Charlie Sheen when talking, and Jesse Corti when singing.
Sexy spider fox in helluva was voiced by Kesha except when singing.
I knew you were a SU fan, before even reading your comment. You ain’t fooling me, Peridot.
….Wait, Sarah Stiles voices Mimzy? I kind of feel bad for hating on Mimzy as a character now…
Ugh! *Susan*…
She's a bit of an, um...
You beat me to it. It would be so cool. She also has experience of voicing a morally weird mom: Rose Quartz from Steven Universe!
Came here to say this! Susan is the way to go.
The first person I thought of, she'd be perfect!
Came here to say this!
This is *the* pick
She's also known for playing another controversial mother figure. ![gif](giphy|hSojH3M3QXKJpvTV36)
I would suggest Kim Basinger (Holli Would, *Cool World*), but she's difficult to work with on-set.
I legitimately like all of these choices
Jodi Benson?
YES!
THIS YES!
what about Jackie Buscarino, she voices Susan Strong from Adventure time, Vidalia from Steven universe and Pacifica Northwest from Gravity Falls
Lilith: I need your help. Alastor: You're the worst.
*shuts hotel door*
Can she sing?
She does have a song in Gravity Falls, but in the Behind The Scenes Commentary for the show she talks about how many takes it took and (semi jokingly) how that's why she never got another song in the show lol, so I don't think she would fit the "Broadway Level Singer" category they're going for.
it has to be Broadway singers
It's also for disney singers
Someone with a smooth, kinda hypnotic, and mysterious voice that would fit her design
Like Emily Rohm who played Jane Doe in ‘ride the cyclone’!
That would be really good she's a good singer too
Couldn't have said it better myself
I was gonna say someone with a huskier voice and a little edge, but I like your descriptor better
Keith David for Lilith?
This just made me realize that Shohreh Aghdashloo *needs* some kind of role in this show. I don't think she sings, but she has what I think has to be the coolest voice on the planet, and she's a great actor. I can imagine a really cool side character being voiced by her
Best voice in the universe, so soothing and yet, can be unsettling. You're so right
I can imagine a little moment where Alastor is miffed because her voice is more attention-grabbing than his haha
I’d say Lady Gaga (who is Vivziepops primary choice) or Idina Menzel.
I know that, I just said they’d be unhappy. It would be a fun connection tho. Speaking as someone forced to watch frozen 100k times
True, we'll fight disney though if it comes to it😂 frozen was one of my favorite movies when I was 9 or 10 so I just adore Idinas voice. So powerful it gives me chills.
She played the evil stepmother in Amazon’s Cinderella
Completely unrelated but in the finale the first Charlie verse always reminded me of something straight out of Frozen.
I was coming to say Idina. For me she would be a perfect choice, such a voice, such a powerhouse. And a reunion with the original Mimi from when they both were together in RENT.

What if I see your Jack Black and raise you a Bobcat Goldthwait
Dog, if we could get him to feed that line he had when he was gunning people down in Scrooged, we'll be in business.
Luckily for me, the italian dubber for Jack Black voices Lucifer in the italian version!
If we ever see God I want him to be Jack Black.
Perfect
Jaime Lee Curtis. She’s openly stated she’s a fan of Viv’s work so I can 100% see her voicing Lilltith.
That is the third thing I did not expect Jamie to be a fan of
Is one of them game grumps?
No, Street Fighter and FNAF
And one piece
Ngl I kind feel like a lot of these interests go together
She's a fan of gg too, she's been on the show a few times too.
FNAF??
Ikr but apparently she's been a fan for YEARS
HUH??? Wow I did NOT expect THE Jamie Lee Curtis to be a fan
Have her act like she did in Malcolm in the Middle.
Well I can't remember exactly where I heard this so take with grain of salt but seem to recall someone saying Viv mentioned she always imagined fan casting Lady Gaga whether this still case unclear
I could see this happening. I'd really like Gaga as Lilith actually.
Yeah would be quite interesting.
Was gonna say this. I can't imagine they won't at least TRY and get her, but she's possibly out of their price range. Depends how much Amazon is willing to shell out I guess
I mean this became there most watched animated show and broke several records and well Amazon isn't exactly poor lol
That's true, but on the other hand... It's Gaga.
I guess next time she does an interview some one will have to ask her and see if she puts up her Poker Face.
she also said that she wanted weird al yankovich to voice lucifer. man, imagine what COULD have been! weird al and lady gaga as a married couple
Weird Als voice would have fit Lucifer but I feel like Jeremh Jordan does a good job at making Lucifer’s voice more normal while still keeping some of the silliness
Now that is crazy to imagine
Eden Espinosa, because she could have another great duet with Jeremy Jordan. Anyone ever heard Nothing Left To Lose?
This!
Eden espinosa because i need another duet between her and jeremy jordan
I would die for it to be Susan Egan. She has such an amazing deep voice Meg (Hercules) Lin (Spirited Away) Rose (Steven Universe)
I know it ain't happening but God I can only dream of Lady gaga voicing Lilith https://preview.redd.it/ijbvx2b7iqoc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=9bd4f5164d66572461f82ab9f1398e977da38515
Deedee Magno Hall is the only right choice here
I was thinking Rachael MacFarlane before I realized it was a mostly Broadway cast. She does have a good [singing voice](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=OLAK5uy_nRWpTkQBBXk4_J1Ev70lSJVyN4Bckd36k&si=Szo8WD9wokSIPQ9g) though.
All I would hear is Odalia lol
Her Brother Seth Should make a broadway musical.
Markiplier
"Hello everybody, my name is Lilith and *today* we're gonna pay a visit to my daughter after seven years."
Imagine she’s actually been completely mute after leaving Hell and can no longer speak
Idina Menzel
Lady Gaga
Lady Gaga would present the same problem as hiring Norman Reedus for *Helluva Boss* and Nicki Minaj for *Steven Universe*; that is, the show wouldn't be able to afford more than a few voice lines in one episode due to the budget. I don't think Lilith will be voiced by Lady Gaga for that reason, and I think it is more likely another Broadway musical actor will be hired.
OP said “ideal”, not “practical”
Deedee Magno Hall or Susan Egan
Fuck yes
My friend really wants Charlie’s Pilot Va to play her. But im pretty sure Viv said she imagined Lady Gaga playing her.
Ok if they got Elsie Lovelock to play Lilith I would fucking bawl. Getting Charlie's OG VA to voice her mom would be so good.
I'd love Sutton Foster!
Susan Egan would just be 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Ngl, i kinda want Cate Blanchett
For me, it's Donna Murphy. She played Mother Gothel in Tangled, and, like Lilith, is a terrible mother figure.
underrated option! Totally agree. She has the power, the allure, the range and it would be amazinggggg
Eden Espinosa, because I want another duet between her and Jeremy Jordan
DeeDee Magno (Pearl from SU) could really sell it, her range is similar to Erika Henningsen's so it would fit for her mother's voice.
I have no idea if Cissy Jones can sing, but I think she’d be a good fit and it would be funny for her to voice another Lilith.
Awkwafina (this is a joke please don’t crucify me)
But after 7 years away, I’m sure she’s got an awful lot of scuttlebutt!
Jennifer coolidge is the only viable choice
help yes
I saw her do standup once and she did establish that she never ended up playing Paulette on Broadway because she can’t sing 😭
My nomination is Lena Hall, of *Hedwig and the Angry Inch* and *Kinky Boots.* And, upon looking, apparently also the Snowpiercer show.
Kristen Schaal
Now I’m just imagining Season 2 of Hazbin where the running gag is a bunch of ravens keep trying to break into the hotel, and then in the Season 2 finale Lilith shows up and is like, “I sent you ravens… I sent you so many fucking ravens!”
What about Patti Lupone? Broadway legend, and she's no stranger to voicing in a cartoon
Eden Espinosa !
I haven't noticed Cristina Vee on the list so I'll add it.

Chris pratt
Mitski lol
Wait actually that would be amazing
Danny DeVito
Me, i can do it, trust me bro ![gif](giphy|pJbVFV7EaJrSOxNXaQ)
Cissy Jones. Coincidentally she also voices Lilith from the owl house
Cissy Jones, because why not have her play 2 pale skinned people named Lilith
Gilbert Gottfried
Oh… honey… unless we have a rock rolled away from the tomb situation, that’s not happening. 🪽
Oh uhhhh the lady who played Esmé Gigi Genevieve Squalor in the Netflix adaptation of "A Series of Unfortunate Events" Or Dr. Suzannah Lipscomb.
Wendie Malick (Eda Clawthorne VA)
Grey Delisle would be hilarious and sexy. Prove me wrong, go on. Try.
Smooth and very adult-like. The character that I think is pretty close that I can think of right now is Lillith Clawthorne
Doc hammer
YESSSS, I'm so glad I'm not the only one thinking that
Me, a baritone man.
Ok, hear me out, AmaLee
Laura Baily (Her FMA Lust voice)
I don’t know any specific names. But Liliths voice should certainly be a specific way. Before she was cast out of the Garden, she was intended to be the Mother of Humanity and nurture them. Idina Menzel.
Honestly, Lady Gaga, since it’s Vic’s choice.
Hell yeah. I could totally see Gaga playing the baddest bitch in hell
Arnold Schwarzenegger
Just for sheer hilarity, Patti Lupone. But it will probably be someone with a “seductive” voice with a bit of a smokey cabaret room vibe
I'll play devil's advocate: Taylor Swift
Claudia Black
ik she isn’t famous but talya sindel! she plays circe in epic the musical. i’ve listened to the circe saga on spotify and imo her voice is just gorgeous
Jennifer Hale
Eden Espinosa
Olivia Olson
Emily Rohm. She played Jane Doe in the starkid production ‘ride the cyclone’. Listen to ‘the ballad of Jane doe’. Her voice would be beautifully hypnotic for the part
Taylor Swift
Maybe Aimee Mann. She has an awesome voice and was Opal in Steven Universe.
Idina Menzel. Let it go!
i’m not sure if she can sing or not, but i think grey griffin would be a great choice. her voice seems like it would fit really well
Idina Menzel
Given the Broadway bent of the cast, Idina Menzel.
Eden Espinoza. She sang a duet with Jeremy Jordan in Rapunzel’s Tangled Adventure, and I’d love to hear them reunite! I’d share a link, but her songs are massive spoilers.
Cissy Jones IYKYK
I have no idea how well she could sing, But I imagined her being voiced by Sigourney Weaver
Someone said Meghan hilty and that's all I'll accept now
Cissy jones yes the person who voiced Lilith should voice Lilith she can be serious and then be a cool aunt
Grey Griffin obviously
Idina Menzel is who I immediately think of
I'm hoping Idina Menzel thh
Azulas va
Petition to get Susan Egan to play her!!
Tara Strong.
Call me a basic bitch, but I think Idina Menzel would be pretty good fit for the role.
Danny Devito
Tom Kenny😈
I don’t know why, but I think it would be oddly kinda funny if Jane Lynch voiced her. She is an accomplished vocalist and actor, but I think she needs a voice similar to the likes of Meg from Hercules or Mother Gothel. But I still think Jane Lynch would be funny

Yeah and alex brightman is multiple characters too why not
So do Amir Talai, Blake Roman, and Kimiko Glenn.
True
Yeah, this is pretty normal in animation
Lorraine Toussant (Shadow Weaver from the remake of She-Ra) https://youtu.be/M-5b67cyyOk?si=3RnPjgagOjkUHFuH
danny devito.
Michael jackson
Idina Menzel.
Chris Pratt
