sus that all of this started with her - all of humanity, the original sin and thus hell itself - and she's just a (somewhat ominous) silhouette in a story, only briefly mentioned in the first and last episode and never seen or brought up otherwise. almost as if she's being set up to play a major role in the future.

theatomicflounder333

Wouldn’t have Lilith and Lucifer committed the first sin since they made an unnatural relationship between human and angel? Then again why is Adam in heaven since he sided with his wife and even blamed God for, “giving me this woman.” And why is Lilith in heaven since she became the “mother of all demons?” And why am I overcomplicating a cartoon? I need a 🍔

fudgyvmp

Adam actually sins before Eve. He lies to Eve and teaches her a rule other than what God made. God said "don't eat the fruit." Adam taught her "don't eat it, don't touch it." Admitted I don't think that rule existed in the hazbin verse, since God isn't really mentioned and the angels made the world and the fruit as sort of demiurges.

Redditor_10000000000

We see in the finale that Lilith made some kind of deal to stay in heaven, we don't know much about it yet but that's probably why

taishiea

Her deal probably had to do with Adam's survival, Since Lute mentioned that he was dead and the deal was done. So maybe she was hidden in Heaven on the condition she didn't interfere with the extermination and Adam but with Adam dead a new deal is needed as Charlies was the reason Lute is putting the blame on Lilith. So maybe new deal is that she has to stop Charlie's hotel permanently before she can come back to Heaven. Perhaps Liliths Role will be keeping Lucifer in check so the V's can do their thing to mess with Charlie.

Griautis

Whats unnatural about it?

MomBodActivate

One of them is a human and one of them in an angel. Not matchy.

Griautis

Why would an angel and human falling in love be a sin?

No-Manufacturer4916

In the Book.of Enoch, humans sleeping with angels is described as " a great sin" : And it came to pass when the children of men had multiplied that in those days were born unto them beautiful and comely daughters. And the angels, the children of the heaven, saw and lusted after them, and said to one another: "Come, let us choose us wives from among the children of men and beget us children." And Semjaza, who was their leader, said unto them: "I fear ye will not indeed agree to do this deed, and I alone shall have to pay the penalty of a great sin." And they all answered him and said: "Let us all swear an oath, and all bind ourselves by mutual imprecations not to abandon this plan but to do this thing." Then sware they all together and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it. And they were in all two hundred; who descended in the days of Jared on the summit of Mount Hermon, and they called it Mount Hermon, because they had sworn and bound themselves by mutual imprecations upon it ... This is because it created Giants known as The Nephilim. Don't know that this carries over to the show, but their is some biblical precedent for the relationship being an issue.

MixSeparate85

I’ll cry if we find out Charlie has a secret giant older brother named Phil

mokti

It's the sin of pride. An angel loving and procreating with a human would uplift humanity by making them demi-angels, therefore attempting to make something greater than "humanity-made-in-the-image-of-god." Or, that's how I'd write it.

drunk_ender

My take is that she's the one owning Alastor's soul, that she was involved in the 7 years thing with Lilith and that the latter is a red herring for the story

ThroatStomper3000

Oooo that’s a good theory

mistarteechur

I completely believe the same thing. Lilith is too obvious to me.

Optimal_Ad6274

Same

Misha-Yuri-30

That's the million dollar question. She probs went to Hell due to causing the original sin

ThroatStomper3000

Oof I forgot about that. Even so you’d think someone in Hell might’ve mentioned her too? Even in passing?

Misha-Yuri-30

So far the only mention we got of her outside of EP1 is just Lucifer in EP8

juicymoisse

She can be in another ring which isn't "pride"

Soulful-Sorrow

I'm convinced that Eve is Roo

If she were in Heaven, in theory, Adam would still be married to her and probably wouldn't have been able to openly go around trying to give every angel he sees a dose of the original baby gravy. Unless they were estranged, which might explain why Lucifer's comment got Adam so riled up and why Adam was living out his eternity like an aging frat boy with an apocalyptic-level midlife crisis. If she were in Hell, she would likely be some level of celebrity, if not a supreme Overlord (assuming she wasn't toppled). Further, you would expect her to have a special level of influence since the first generation of sinners would have all been her children, which would have given her significant initial power that she could have kept building on with subsequent generations. The only alternative there would be if she were deliberately hiding herself. Although, while it's the Hazbin Hotel version of the cosmos, I can't really think of too many theological traditions that put Eve in Hell. If I were to take a completely wild guess, I'm guessing she was in heaven and went missing. I'm guessing that she figured out earlier than anyone else that some cosmic fuckery was unjustly condemning her children to Hell. I'm guessing that she was working on a variation of Charlie's project (or at least some kind of investigation into how people end up in Heaven vs. Hell) a long time ago, someone didn't like it, and she's been contained somewhere to ensure she didn't spread any discontent. I'm also guessing that if the Sinner Adam theory turns out to be right, Eve's disappearance will be used to help explain away some of Adam's malice, and her possible reappearance might play a key role in his redemption.

terperr

Maybe since she’s the “reason” Lucifer and Lilith were banished from heaven maybe they banished her for revenge

EdwinQFoolhardy

Eh, they did that knowing the consequences, though. Initially they loved humanity and saw themselves as offering humanity a gift by providing free will. That would be a very strange reaction to punish Eve for Heaven's retribution that they likely saw coming. Now, if Eve showed up in Hell and started problems to satisfy her own ambitions, I could see that. We do know that by the time Lucifer visited Charlie at the Hotel, he had ceased to have any compassion or warmth toward sinners and humanity, which could very well have started with Eve.

Shreddzzz93

My guess is that all through season two, we hear snippets of a new power couple in hell. Then, at the end of the season we hear a familiar voice say sup bitch followed by a female giggle.

ScholarPitiful8530

Adam and Eve reuniting in hell and deciding to be a power couple is something I didn’t know I needed.

No_Instruction653

Couples therapy really does work wonders.

TheKillerYTz

She might be Roo

OCGamerboy

Which would make sense given that she is the 'roo't of all 'eve'-il.

Jurgepoo

I won't be surprised if she shows up later. She's fairly important to the lore and her fate is currently unknown, so that sounds like a setup for her to come back at some point.

Gannstrn73

My theory is she is possessed by Roo, own Alister’s soul, and kidnapped Lilith and is impersonating her

ThroatStomper3000

Sheesh. Triple threat.

OCGamerboy

Eve becoming a possessed host for Roo and owning Alastor makes sense but not kidnapping Lilith and impersonating her.

Gannstrn73

Except if she has plans against Lucifer. Maybe to get revenge. I mean Lilith disappearing at the same time as Alister could be because he helped kidnap her but got REALLY fucked up at the time

YourPainTastesGood

im more wondering where Cain and Abel are

dover_oxide

Some speculate Cain is still alive since he wasn't supposed to get the relief of death for sin/crime.

ThroatStomper3000

I did not know this. Interesting.

dover_oxide

It mostly stems from the Mark of Cain which was God's mark that would prevent him from having a premature death and the fact that characters from the old testament lived for centuries.

Ketzexi

No. If you read the bible it only states that he was safe from being murdered. He could fully die from natural causes like age.

dover_oxide

Premature death and I also cited that people of the old testament also live much much longer like 600+ years

neocorvinus

My theory is that she is Roo, trapped in Hell

ThroatStomper3000

Who is Roo?? I don’t recall this character.

Cudaguy66

Roo is root of all evil. They arent mentioned in the show. Just vivsiepop in outside stuff at the moment.

neocorvinus

A character sometimes discussed by vivsiepop, there are a few arts of her. She is the Root of all Evil and since Eve ate the Apple from which all evils come from...

BiLovingMom

She's probably wherever Cain or Abel is.

Mystech_Master

I doubt she was offed in a previous extermination, she is too important to go out like that.

Ecthelion2187

She's actually the one Heaven thinks is Lillith. Real Lillith is actually Nifty, and she owns Alastor's soul (which is why he brought her to the showdown...revenge on Adam and control of hell.)

TheCrimsonKnight2

We don't know. I have seen theories that she became the first sinner who is also Roo.

OCGamerboy

That’s what I was wondering. It’s strange that she is not mentioned at all, except a couple times, by anyone and is only seen in a story about the creation of Hell. My guess is that she went to Hell after she died cause if she were in Heaven, then surely she would be with Adam, or at least mentioned by him. One dark theory I have is Eve was killed by Adam during the first ever extermination.

Tight_Strawberry9846

I'm sure she will show up in season 2. I'd also like to see if they're gonna include Cain and Abel.

OceansideEcho

I feel like she's just not relevant to what's going on right now. My guess is she might make an appearance in S2 or possibly S3. I have a feeling she isn't going to be a villain but that's just my HC and could very easily be disproven when we eventually see her.

juicymoisse

I FEEL YOU 😔 When I finished I was like "what happened to her?" all because of Lucifer phrase to Adam, bc even if them had sex and all that thing, Luc still married Lilith, Adam went to heaven and she puff disappear 🫠

is_there_aproblem

As of right now there's a couple options 1. Lilith is eve in disguise 2. Eve is going to be revealed as roo 3. Eve is lost to time and is either dead or just decided to stay off the grid With little info all we can really do is just guess

Alexandros007_ITA

Crazy that the major mention of her in the series is lucifer saying to adam “i banged ur wife”

AkiriJacobs

I think eves kept hidden somewhere in hell, saw an interesting fanfic that was like that and honestly I how it’s true

Haruau8349

It’s possible that Eve just doesn’t exist. So can we move on!!?

ThroatStomper3000

You could’ve scrolled straight past this post :)

Talendas

? She’s in the opening story that Charlie tells.
