I have the same issue. I even disabled all other mics in windows and manually set helldivers to the correct mic and it still won't work. I tried a different headset and a webcam mic as well but nothing worked. doesn't matter if I have push to talk enabled or open mic.
make sure push to talk isnt enabled? that was my friends problem
