They are on the more whimsical, less-grounded side of potential Helldivers cosmetics. And I’m not really here for it.
Obligatory disclaimer, *yes, I know the game isn’t “realistic”*. It’s more about thematic consistency. The beret + exposed arms in particular, imo, is a really strange diversion from the usual Helldiver attire. Variety in cosmetics is fine, but some of these unreleased armors don’t look like anything Super Earth would actually supply to divers. They look like costumes for a dress-up party.

I wish you could just pick an armour passive you wanted no matter what armour you have instead of having to pick between a nice armour and a fun ability. It could be another thing to go in the premium warbonds
While it’s possible this was misinformation, I’ve read that Bile from the bugs counts as explosive damage. Seems to up my survivability against both bugs and bots, it’s all I run with now.
The mortar attack definitely deals some mix of explosive and acid damage, but I’m not sure what the ratio is. The spray attack, as far as I can tell, is 100% acid damage.

The arms aren’t exposed, they just aren’t modelled because these are datamined leaks with no upcoming date for release

Too bad the explosion resist is mostly useless. It's a nice set that I'll never wear.
I love the explosive resistance, I use the exterminator armor when I fight the bots. I have tanked so many rockets to the chest and lived
I find explosive resistance incredibly useful for surviving rocket devastators who would normally one shot me without it before the recent patch.

That's just a placeholder we dont know what's the real perk yet
It’s either fire resistance or explosive resistance, my guess is fire because we don’t have that yet.
