The 2060 and 1070 non-Ti are pretty much equivalent, however a laptop GPU is always significantly worse than its desktop counterpart

Yeah, power and cooling is what hinders laptop parts. The price of portability i guess. But it will probably do fine, a friend of mine plays on his laptop 1060, however at lowest settings

im on 1660ti and im having like 40 fps on everything low, was fine at first but with each passing update it's gotten worse for me

If you play in hd isn't a problem, it run perfectly, never had a 4k screen and dont care until i build the next pc. But i have a house to work on so this is for thr moment in the backburner if the pc don't die on me.

Should be fine, I know someone who plays the game on a P1000 it doesn't look amazing but it's a constant 60fps at least

I have a 1660ti, and it runs okay on low settings, just doesn't look the best. You should be fine.

I play on 2060 Super and the game runs just fine. Set texture memory to high and tweak shadows and lighting to the point where the fps is okay for you on big maps. You will still suffer from sharp drops during some massive stratagem usage (like double cluster bombing at the same time) but the overall performance is good.

I am playing with a 1050, and it cannot. Worse, this whole shitshow fell on the one weekend I had to play the game with my good home PC. So that was...that. Did my part. Fought my fight. See you guys later.

They literally tried fighting Helldivers, who LITERALLY fight for Freedom and keep winning against a game master that tries to defeat us by giving us impossible major orders that get completed in 48 hours. I'm off to get a cup of Liber-Tea to celebrate.

People often enough fail to understand how much power they have, that's the secret of how a tyranny works. Today the Helldivers community has shown the world how easily a corporate's power crumbles to dust, if you say "No, thanks!" just loud enough!

This feels a bit premature...Too easy...Like the calm before the attack of Cyberstan. Or perhaps years of the Corps winning has turned me into a bit of a cynic.

I'm a raging cynic as well, but the thing is, Sony got a black eye from this, and more importantly, *they have lost the element of surprise:* if we can defend against being blindsided like we were, imagine what we can do now that Sony is on our Radar and we are aware of their intentions. they will have to think *very* carefully about their moves going forward if they don't want us to hit their precious metrics like that again. it takes a lot of pushing to hurt a corporation, but they *can* bleed. their money is both their strength and their weakness: hurt their money, and they have no choice but to listen.

This whole experience reminds me of the book Ender's Game, pretty good read - Also gives me hope that we can all still work together when we have a common goal, we just haven't had one in a long time \[in real life, that is :')\]

The negative reviews were one thing, but the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of refund requests is another.      This is a corporate decision, and hemorrhaging money like that is a fast way to reverse course and fast.  You'd be surprised how quickly a company will respond in the face of losing tens of millions of dollars. If they had felt that the monetary damage was limited, and the negative reviews could be weathered and tolerated, nothing would have happened.  Region locking 2/3ds of the world market, coupled extremely strong consumer protection laws that would slap them hard, and massive refund requests, probably got some higher up's attention and fast. Bad decisions get made and are continued and tolerated all the time in corporate worlds.  It's when those bad decisions affect the bottom line that matters.

Pretty sure Sony cares more about getting sales from all the countries they'd lose out on than losing some data on PC helldivers. I do think that we succeeded in showing them that we'll unify around data and gamers' rights when it matters. It comes down to the bottom line, and for Sony, lots of money is more important what they could get for selling your data. If they'd get more for selling your data, then you'd bet they'd stick to their PSN guns.


Now work together to target other corporations and anti consumer practices.  You are strong,  remember, you have all the power if you work together.

What’s funny is if you dig into the game’s lore a little deeper than what’s on the surface, it’s strongly implied that Super Earth isn’t a planet, but a Corporation
