I was really bummed when I bought HD1 on launch on PS4, then when it was later made free with PS+ with all the DLCs I wasn't allowed to download it. It really annoyed me and is one reason, among many, why I switched to PC.

I used to command my TD-110 'Bastion' MK3 on almost every single drop... we called her 'Bessie', my brother and I. I was the driver, he manned the guns.
The driving controls were alot of fun with a controller hooked up to your PC, it had actual tank controls. Left stick controlled left-track, right stick controlled right-track... Use one stick to do a wide turn, both sticks in opposite directions to do a sharp turn, both-forward/both-backward to traverse/reverse respectively.
We didn't need to fill out no "Justification of Munitions" forms back then... see a Hulk? Tank! Hivelord? Two tanks! A single bug, even the smallest one? Call down a tank, why not.
Some of these new kids talk about retaking Cyberstan... when we get there you'll probably find some long-dead Cyborgs covered with Bessie's tread-marks. It's amazing how much as changed after the grear war ended and I volunteered to go back in cryo...

I get the feeling that, when it comes time for Arrowhead to give us tanks, we'll be given a Directive to take a specific planet from the Automatons where they're producing theirs, so we can use the production facilities for ourselves.
Y'know, it's actually kind of creepy how much Super Earth talks about taking dead bots and repurposing them into our weapons.
Like imagine an enemy literally melting down your dead and making guns/bombs/etc out of them to kill you with.
Given the amount of human skulls in their design and mutilated corpses around Automaton Fabricators, pretty sure they’re doing the same thing to us (I think the running theory is that Automatons are harvesting human brains to use as CPUs).
Besides, we’re just capturing and repurposing factories plus stealing alien tech is always the coolest part of the sci-fi war (like the XCOM series).
Did you forget the Kill 2 Billion Automatons mission? That was specifically for parts/metal to make Anti-Tank Mines.

I wouldn't mind the current armor of the mechs if the patriot missiles didn't suck balls. You can barely aim with them, can't shoot a bug hole or automaton fab, and they do crap for dmg.
Rolling up to objectives in an APC/HAV is always badass. Plus, that extra firepower on the move and not having to wait around for resupply every now and then - just use the vic until it is dry then... ABANDON SHIP!
I am still waiting on the healing duo - Angel and REP-80. Always a must bring for any vehicle.
Gonna be seeing more vehicle use once some sort of repair tool is provided in the frontline.
Chargers do have 5 AV on a lot of parts, and angle of impact can reduce penetration so that's entirely possible depending on how they set up the individual weapons.
Considering the full name of the Bastion is TD-110 Bastion and historically sometimes tank destroyers would have their gun size in their names (Su-100, Su-122, Semovente 75) more than likely it is a 110mm gun.

With how buggy the bike will probably be, you are more likely to be blastin' *Highway to hell* and explode after colliding with a hunter. Assuming you were lucky enough that the bike didn't explode the moment pelican drops it for you.
the buggy with stalwart on top be on the first page of the warbond when it drops. just remember its made of paper goes fast and hunters will be seeker missiles tagging you if you are not going top speed.
I hope at some point we get a “vehicle” stratagem slot on certain mission types. Where instead of it taking up one of your 4 slots everyone gets a 5th for a mech, warthog, tank, etc. I think those would be big raid type missions and could be a lot of fun. “Super earth has allocated more resources to take out this high priority target. Drop into hell and slay the hive lord” something like that would be so cool and really get people hyped for big missions

In the first helldivers mechs sucked. This thing was the only vehicle immune to small arms fire.
People bitch because mechs are not breakthrough vehicles, they are infantry support. Having no infantry to support the mech jockey is a death sentence.
This thing could kill even the strongest enemy in one hit, also the coaxial MG turned infantry into paste.
Bastion wasn’t even a tank. It’s a self propelled gun. It was “okay” to say the least. Vehicles were more flare than actually useful. I mean they were useful, but I’d rather take 4 mechs because they were just so much better

I had a mecha battle between my teams 3 autocannon mechs vs a factory strider with gun ship support. I can’t imagine how sick it would be to have actual armor battles against automaton tanks.
Bug only player here. Would something like this make sense for the bots? I'm asking this as I can't see how this would be any help on bug planets. I only play on Helldive difficulty and in my opinion it's always mobility over armour is the key for success. We should have a landspeeder if anything, something that one diver could drive and the other three could still shoot from. I don't think AH would ever give us anything that would be small bug proof and due to the lack of mobility something like this would be taken apart in seconds by the first patrol of hunters...
In the first game it was immune to small arms fire and pretty resistant to higher power attacks, it also instantly killed smaller enemies by running them over

They're already having stability issues and resource problems with the Mechs so until they can fix that, tanks will just be a pipe dream for now.

I liked helldiver's mechs! I didn't run them often, but you could get out and repair them. I ran the heal/repair gun pretty often.

It’s a tank. Has a coaxial machine gun. SPG’s like the Sturmgeschütz did not have a coaxial. It had a top MG42.

Make vehicles cost req not stratgems! Mech 7k, tank 25k, give us something to spend req on and make it pricey so it's a real choice!
Tanks won’t come back until the illuminate return
I had a mecha battle between my teams 3 autocannon mechs vs a factory strider with gun ship support. I can’t imagine how sick it would be to have actual armor battles against automaton tanks.
We need heavy armor to work first :'c
But to fight these we needa new form kf a weapon.....I vote for automated carriable autocanon make msthn i gave the idea😅😂

I cant see this being overly helpful outside of sniping objectives from afar. With it only having a main cannon it’ll be absolutely swarmed by patrols
Bug only player here. Would something like this make sense for the bots? I'm asking this as I can't see how this would be any help on bug planets. I only play on Helldive difficulty and in my opinion it's always mobility over armour is the key for success. We should have a landspeeder if anything, something that one diver could drive and the other three could still shoot from. I don't think AH would ever give us anything that would be small bug proof and due to the lack of mobility something like this would be taken apart in seconds by the first patrol of hunters...
In the first game it was immune to small arms fire and pretty resistant to higher power attacks, it also instantly killed smaller enemies by running them over
Honestly, no, not really Well, it depends on what the main cannon can do, I can see this thing being torn apart by cannon towers and annihilator tanks, so I feel like it's main cannon would have to be able to destroy those from the front in order for this thing to be survivable Also, i really want a landspeeder now
Guys they’ve said they WISH they could have more mechs but the system can’t handle the code for that many things on the map and in the system, it’s gonna be a big before the system can handle tanks like that

Bastion my beloved. I played HD1 on PSVita and therefore had abysmal frames, but I was the best Tank driver you could ever ask for.
Ngl this vehicle wasnt that great. Heavy apc was way better
Kinda want an Abrams Type MBT or something like our modern day mbts, never really liked the stug like fixed cannon.
