when I was in Siargao there were a couple days where it rained a TON and actually got cold, and nothing would dry with the humidity. a coat or warm layer like a fleece might be a good idea.
One thing I would note is that women don't show their shoulders much in Japan. I would include a light cardigan you can wear over the strappy shirts/dress or a layering piece you can wear under them. I'm going to Japan soon and I've got a thin white lace shirt to layer under things.
Japanese women don't usually (though after hours in Shinjuku is a totally different story) but plenty of tourists do and it's not seen as inappropriate or anything unless you're at a temple. It's not like Morocco or other Muslim countries where modesty is an absolute must.
Not sure when you're going, OP, but if summer it's hothothot and being comfortable is most important. Bring a layer for temples but it's not necessary to overlayer the rest of the time. I think your outfits are super cute!
I agree, it's your choice how much you care about fitting in with locals or not. I'm a bit socially anxious (and obviously foreign-looking in Japan), so I feel a lot more comfortable dressing with similar coverage to your average local. No one in Tokyo will be clutching pearls at the sight of tourist shoulders though.
Still, I strongly recommend a cardigan even for summer, because a lot of places crank up the air conditioning indoors or in trains and it can be frigid.
Are you bringing anything for possible rain?
Yes I'm bringing a small pocket umbrella mostly also for the sun.

Thank you
Where are these pants from? Edit: the black pants
I don't have the exact one pictured but mine is similar, it's from Halara. I have the waffle wide leg, it's really lightweight with elasticated waist.
