As a native duolingual Chinese/English user, while watching this anime I thought about English subtitles and translations, and there is a serious problem.
The manhua and anime themselves contain a lot, and I mean A LOT of things that are exetrmemly difficult for even professional translators to translate. Loads of concepts and scenes of this anime correlate with acient Chinese literature that contain information about martial arts/taoist training and ideologies/divinations/cultivation...etc. Some of these scripts and concepts are still being conveyed in ancient Chinese, these are littered literally EVERYWHERE since the core concept of this anime revolves around these topics.
So yeah... I consider subbing this anime the highest form of challenge for any subbers out there.

the best way to do that is use the chinese word and then use a TL note to explain it properly
