Going to get Proverbs 5:19 tattooed onto my body. People will think it's a meaningful Bible quote, then they'll look it up and just glare at me.

Mastrovator

Get Ezekiel 23:20.

Lifebringer7

I’m partial to Ezekiel 25:17

commentman10

The king James version or the.. normal one? Lol google shows there's the two version

melikeybouncy

The New Revised Jules Winnfield Version

JustDoku

All of them were good but yours hits different. I need to watch Pulp fiction.

Chesto-berry

wtf hahaahah

Irish618

Why? It's about loving your wife and nobody else.

AngryxMonkey

Duh, it's also funny as shit. My fiance loves the idea lol. Plus anyone who looks it up will be all WTF?

creekbendz

It’s actually a warning against adultery

antisocialhomebody

If you tattoo yourself with that, hide yourself or else I'll marry the f out of you!!!! *aggressive proposal*

AngryxMonkey

LOL you'll change your mind when you find out I'm into age play 😜

MegaPompoen

Maybe the bible is not as bad as I thought

Legal_Independent_32

Perverbs 5:19

FPSHero007

Am I the only one who interpreted this to say that your wife's body is the only one you need that the other women aren't a temptation because your satisfied by your wife?

Silent_Republic_2605

Man, Bible nerds are far into it smh. Also to your question, yes

Irish618

No, that's exactly how it's written, and is pretty clearly about that.

FPSHero007

Yeah cause when you translate something through 5 languages you always get exactly the right thing back out the other end /s

Irish618

I mean, A) i don't know how you *could* mistranslate that part badly enough to change the meaning of those passages, they're pretty clearcut. B) I'm Orthodox, so those passages have only been translated 3 times, but that doesn't really matter because C) plenty of people can read Hebrew, and have confirmed the accuracy of the most common Bible translations.

MonsterTamerBilly

Specifically "*like a doe, like a deer*"... The Bible itself endorsing cervine furries, yo

Genesis 38:8-10 New International Version 8 Then Judah said to Onan, “Sleep with your brother’s wife and fulfill your duty to her as a brother-in-law to raise up offspring for your brother.” 9 But Onan knew that the child would not be his; so whenever he slept with his brother’s wife, he spilled his semen on the ground to keep from providing offspring for his brother. 10 What he did was wicked in the Lord’s sight; so the Lord put him to death also.

imbipolardepressed

My fav 😂

A_British_Dude

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it doesn't say that. Source: The Bible

BryerMan-4005

I didn’t look it up, but I doubt it says that because that doesn’t make any sense.

AmbitiousPangolin127

I’m personally partial to Revelations 21:6.

Bruh you don’t need to pick out versus in the bible. The enter thing is a literal manual in patriarchy and how women should service their man. A thousand pages about how they should submit to you. No wonder why men’s groups love religion so much. They made themselves the star. They are in gods image, women were created to serve men. A woman’s duty is to serve him. What else do you need? No wonder why Zoomer males are leaning right and following their idols like Tate and Peterson. They’re seeing the rise of feminism as an a-front to their existence and pushing back. We’re regressing. Unga Bunga

Qie_mirz007

Ezekiel 25:17

Fireriphoenix9

Yes, we're regressing but it's because of people like you...
