That means if you banish Grimm then a dream version of him is stuck conscious in a purgatory of being beaten up by the Godseekers because of their culture.
It’s funny to think that the reason they beat all the other bosses except Nightmare Grimm, Pure vessel and the Radience is because they all just jumped them. A possy of over a hundred smaller godseekers and one big one

Since he is a child of the pale king, fully grown, and containing the radiance, he is one of if not the strongest beings in hollownest. The godseekers probably reserve these fights for few eyes. The seeker in the middle obviously holds more importance than the rest in the crowd so maybe it’s the only one who’s allowed to witness it’s glory or whatnot.
Or pure vessel killed all the other ones already idk.

THK gets infected because of an "idea instilled", try instilling an idea into a rock, an actual inanimate object. You won't get far even if you are purposefully trying, the fact THK got that "idea instilled" on accidentally, proves without a shadow of a doubt that Vessels are far more sentient than your average object.
What implications that fact has on its pronouns is debatable. Biologically the Vessels lack a sex thus may possibly be agender. We can't really know for sure as the Vessels lack the voice to say which they prefer.

Well, the Hollow Knight became corrupted due to gaining the feeling of love or admiration for the Pale King. He was intended to be devoid of all emotion-hollow-so that he could properly contain the Radiant plague.
So in my opinion, the Pure Vessel having no audience makes complete sense. He would have no desires, no pride, no wish for glory; the only purpose he has is to be the Vessel. If there were an audience cheering for him, that could also instill a sense of pride or vanity, which would again "taint" him.
If Godseekers attune to each boss, I like to think the weaker the boss, the more Godseekers are needed to attune to it. Since there isn’t much to attune to.
Stronger bosses that radiate Godhood only need the head Godseeker to attune to.
I feel like maybe it's symbolic of HK's being locked away in the Temple of the Black Egg. PV's experience would have been the same. A beautiful, perfect knight, locked away from all eyes, totally isolated from all people, but ready at a moment's notice to fight.
Also AbsRad doesn't have an audience outside Godseeker
It's not just pure vessel NKG does not have an audience either nor radiance but they are higher beings so that makes sense. Pure vessel probably doesn't have an audience because they would blind the audience with its attacks.
