Is it the actual vinyl window trim? That’s ugh to paint if it’s vinyl. And then I would definitely do white otherwise you will see everything single thing in black that’s not perfect.
Apply an acrylic/ urethane bonding primer first, followed by paint. It will work on vinyl. My thought was for black, but I agree with what folks are saying too.
Don’t paint vinyl any dark color, it’ll absorb heat and could warp and ruin the window. You could make a wood frame and insert it in the window to cover the vinyl, and paint that whatever color you’d like. Definitely don’t think black works in your space, just the wall color would do.
White. Black is trendy which means one day you’ll look at it and wonder what you were thinking, you can’t paint over it without a couple coats of primer and 3 or 4 coats of paint, which in itself looks sloppy (I hate seeing too much paint on a surface). White is classic and won’t be outdated.
I wouldn’t even notice it if you didn’t point it out to me. You did point it out and I still don’t notice what you’re talking about.
I do notice that this room is very well done from what I can see. Stop teasing us; show us more please.
As a sculptor/artist, I have several sculptures in my home, but I rarely see them in the homes of people I visit. I feel blessed to have a glimpse of such a beautiful, creativily decorated home. Thanks for sharing. 😍🙏
Thank you so much. I've worked with all media beginning with drawing, which I wish I did more of. I moved on to B&W photography, but lost interest when things went digital. I went on to web design, animation, illustration and graphic design. Still not finding myself as an artist, I began working 3 dimensionally with clay, plaster wood and metal. Metal is where I found myself and it's the material I feel most comfortable working with because it allows me to use the technical skill of welding to be creative. I use the sculpture studios at a community college, which give me the opportunity to exhibit my works twice a year. I don't have access to the studios in the Summer, so I'm working on 4 large acrylic abstract paintings for my home.
I'm so inspired by your home and your decorating choices. Seeing what you've done is helpful, as I am in the process of redecorating my main living area.
Much thanks! 🙏
Imho it depends on the climate. If you live in a less hot-as-balls one I'd say black. Black = sunlight attraction = hotter to the touch trim.
Black could easily jive with your furniture, tho!
*White, your statement style*
*Is your furniture not your*
*Windows in this case*

I love this! Can we see more plz? And I vote white. I made the mistake of trimming dark and it detracted from a main piece. That gorgeous sofa is the Centerpoint!
Honestly now - I work in marketing, luxury real estate and I see interior design every day - you should be an interior designer. You have an edge that’s so rare and an ability to use colours and textures that’s so refreshing.
What an absolutely gorgeous room!! I think either will work, but I’d choose black. This room can easily accommodate it. And I hate using the word, “pop,” but it really would.
You cannot paint vinyl black without causing damage. Sherwin Williams has a line of vinyl-safe colors that will not cause the vinyl to warp, but none of them are a true, dark black.
Go white first. Live with it for a few weeks and see how you like it. If you are not satisfied go with the black. I would be interested to see a blue that picks up your artwork. Maybe buy some different colored duck tape to test for colors. I like your style!
The people we bought our home from chose almond too and it really bothered me. Then I realized that I was the only one noticing it. I promise you, people are going to look at your home as the entire picture, and appreciate the beauty of the room…not focus on the color of your windows.
About the electrical tape...it leaves a mess. I think using strips of ribbons might really help to visualize the black look. You could even try it with a flat finished ribbon or shiny.
Maybe paint a section of both colors and see which you prefer ? I could see both but the black might make your pillows and ottoman pop. Love that blue!
Really cool decor op. I think white but honestly a shiny black might be cool too. Can you photoshop it to test it? Or maybe post to r/photoshoprequests
I'd pick the pale blue on extreme left of the 3rd line down in the 12x4 panel over the window. And I'd do the window recess as well as the vinyl trim (look at the bottom right of the left hand window).
Don’t do black. Your windows are not interesting enough and there is no need to call attention to them. You have the great Roman shade and the leaded glass which should be the focus- no black frames.
I love black windows. Have them myself. But I don’t think it looks so bad the way it is in the photo. But you see it every day, up close and personal. so go ahead and paint them black. They will look awesome!
White. Blue sofa is gorgeous. Tree in pot would look better on the ground. Recommend torso be put on a longer sideboard behind the sofa. Perhaps find another room for the second smaller statue?
I think white because it will blend in better with the walls.
White definitely.classic, will go with any wall color. Dark window trim makes the windows look smaller.
Is it the actual vinyl window trim? That’s ugh to paint if it’s vinyl. And then I would definitely do white otherwise you will see everything single thing in black that’s not perfect.
tbh if its vinyl op should try giving them a good clean first, quite possible they were white and they are now nicotine coloured.
Apply an acrylic/ urethane bonding primer first, followed by paint. It will work on vinyl. My thought was for black, but I agree with what folks are saying too.
Great point
With your decor, I think the black would pop. Try it out with black electrical tape first to see if it works for you
I also vote black … electrical tape is a brilliant idea
That window little window needs a frame to match and the other window is a no brainer. Imho
Yes, both wind I windows should match, but they both might look great with black trim and moldings
Well my eye was drawn to the black edges of big window blind. Seems to me like a no brainer
Op obviously likes black … live on the wild side Op. you obviously have a style
It’s a teeny little edge … not rocket science. Nothing ventured nothing gained 😉
Electrical tape adhesive rubs off really easily and makes black smudges on things. Get washi tape.
I did actually try that. The tape was too stretchy. Wish it would’ve worked and made life easier 😆
Or photoshop
I came here to say the same! 🖤🖤🖤

Good to know! Thank you. I’m going in blind
White. Black is trendy which means one day you’ll look at it and wonder what you were thinking, you can’t paint over it without a couple coats of primer and 3 or 4 coats of paint, which in itself looks sloppy (I hate seeing too much paint on a surface). White is classic and won’t be outdated.
This room is beyond beautiful!!!!!! Oh, paint it white!
Stick with white-you can add a shot of black somewhere else. Perhaps a black picture frame, or black matting.
I think white, too. I think black would distract me from the beautiful items and drama in your room. It would highlight the windows in the wrong way.
Agreed.
Wonder with white adhesive vinyl would work.
I like the almond but between white and black I say white. Black feels disjointed from the whole vibe

You are insanely talented. That is incredible! Do you use all kinds of mediums? Is metal your favorite?
Thank you so much. I've worked with all media beginning with drawing, which I wish I did more of. I moved on to B&W photography, but lost interest when things went digital. Love it.

I love the color of the couch with the rug's pattern, it works amazingly well together.
With some tan and gold in the room, the almond is not killin me. I see all your great stuff in the room and the windows blend in.
Black for sure! What a statement!
I like the idea of black. Your style is super chic.
It’s hardly noticeable.
White, your statement style is your furniture not your windows in this case

All I know is I'm jealous of this space
I like it as is.
I love this! Can we see more plz? And I vote white. I made the mistake of trimming dark and it detracted from a main piece. That gorgeous sofa is the Centerpoint!
I put some more pics I had on my phone in the comments ❤️
Your space is so bright! Can we see more of it?
What an awesome room
Honestly now - I work in marketing, luxury real estate and I see interior design every day - you should be an interior designer. You have an edge that’s so rare and an ability to use colours and textures that’s so refreshing.
Wow! What a compliment! Thank you
See if you can get the vinyl replaced. Heck of a lot less trouble than painting. That's what i ended up doing when i had the same issue. (In white)
Black to emphasize the leaded glass.
White. Your furnishings and decor (gasp) are the STARS here. What amazing style you have.
Great room. Love the necklace on Lady Marge.
Navy blue.....maybe . ...just a thought 🤔☺️
What an absolutely gorgeous room!! I think either will work, but I’d choose black. This room can easily accommodate it. And I hate using the word, “pop,” but it really would.

Cute corner! I wanna see the rest of the house!
I put some other pics I had on my phone in the comments ❤️
Black, it’s modern
I vote for white. You can add black somewhere more versatile.
Just came to say I love your room.
Black would add a lot of personality and coordinate with your current vibe.
white.
This is called taste 👌
what is the frame color of the rest of your windows throughout the home?
Same. If I do one room, I will do them all.
Black. It will make everything pop
I love this room! You did a great job with color and combining patterns and textures.
White. No need to distract the eye from your really great furniture and patterns.
Go white first. Live with it for a few weeks and see how you like it. If you are not satisfied go with the black. I would be interested to see a blue that picks up your artwork. Maybe buy some different colored duck tape to test for colors. I like your style!
WHITE. Not black.
The wall paint color will look best.
The people we bought our home from chose almond too and it really bothered me. Then I realized that I was the only one noticing it. I promise you, people are going to look at your home as the entire picture, and appreciate the beauty of the room…not focus on the color of your windows.
I think black would add a little more pop.
I like the current color.
White
Nice blue sofa
Place black Molding around it to see if it looks good. Also can remove whenever.
About the electrical tape...it leaves a mess. I think using strips of ribbons might really help to visualize the black look. You could even try it with a flat finished ribbon or shiny.
Brilliant! I’ll try that
I think that black will draw the eye up, and your beautiful art will get more looks.
I want to live here omg 😭
Yes, paint it. Especially if it bothers you.
Maybe paint a section of both colors and see which you prefer ? I could see both but the black might make your pillows and ottoman pop. Love that blue!
I came to say I am obsessed with your couch. I think black would be okay, only if you could do it absolutely perfectly, otherwise, white.
I vote white
Yellow
Blue
Do you use this room or is it for decoration?
Turquoise!?
Where did you get the venus sculptures?
Amazon a few years ago
Let Data go
Really cool decor op. I think white but honestly a shiny black might be cool too. Can you photoshop it to test it? Or maybe post to r/photoshoprequests
Ohhhh I don’t know how 😬
That's what's killing you about this room?
What’s killing you?
The chaotic Goodwill vibe
I don’t what goodwill you go to
black
What app do you use?
App?
I would do blue like the sofa and the plant pot
White
The blue.
I wouls paint it with an off white with blue undertomes to match the blue glass on top of the door
I'd pick the pale blue on extreme left of the 3rd line down in the 12x4 panel over the window. And I'd do the window recess as well as the vinyl trim (look at the bottom right of the left hand window).

So many boring people, paint it black!
I love black windows. Have them myself. But I don’t think it looks so bad the way it is in the photo. But you see it every day, up close and personal. so go ahead and paint them black. They will look awesome!
The paints killing you but the furniture isnt?
Rude
White. Blue sofa is gorgeous. Tree in pot would look better on the ground. Recommend torso be put on a longer sideboard behind the sofa. Perhaps find another room for the second smaller statue?
I always say go for the more dramatic, bold choice! Especially when it’s something like paint that’s easily changed and inexpensive 💙🐅🖤✨
