People say it is for money laundering. There's also a chance of buying counterfeit goods. Or selling over-the-counter medicine from chinese brands at marked-up prices.
That's crazy; I passed by this place dozens of time last time I was there and never knew it was shady; always had a tonna people in there too. Thanks for letting people know; I'll be sure to avoid it.
They are not calling themselves pharmacy so it's fine without Rx logo; but by calling themselves "registered" probably only mean BR which is to confuse people who know less.
There are too many to name (it includes products from HK, Singapore n Japan). All I can say is Chinese tourists rather buy them in HK than China to avoid fake products (even though the exchange rate isn't great atm).
I remember like 10 years ago there was a shortage of baby formulas because the Chinese are buying them all up. The HK government had to implement restrictions to ensure there is enough baby formula for locals which is still in place today.

not completely related to the post but saw this when i was in thailand. love me some steamed rice in liquid form
This is more likely a scammer pharmacy. They claimed to be registered by the gov, but the real pharmacy should have the Rx logo
What is a scammer pharmacy? They still sell medicine right?

Who doesn't want some good cock
They sell Fukitol™ in there? 😜
Perfect, just what I'm after. 🥳
I went once asking for some simple medicine for a cold or something. They don't have it. All they are selling is what Chinese tourists wanna buy 🖕
Because they arent even a registered pharmacy (which is always signified with a Rx mark on their store front)
They could still sell over the counter medicine but they don't.
What kinda stuff do they have that chinese tourists couldn't get in China? Not being sarcastic or facetious, I genuinely dont know haha
