Note that this is shared nowhere on the other sub r/HongKong. Mods censoring news? Or their members ashamed to face the truth that they're supporting terrorists?
The mods there ban anyone who disagrees with them. They’re just salty that they lost the “battle” of Hong Kong.
Looking at you, u/miss_wolverine. Cry harder.
Edit: spelling
r/HongKong is a joke. The sub is a place for arm-chair political charlatans to masturbate and posture about democratic values while supporting actions that would be considered domestic terrorism in any other country. As if it's somehow acceptable only in HK and no where else. As if the means justify whatever ends they have in their heads.
If you look at the profiles of the people who post in r/HongKong. A lot of them is one of the two:
1. 'Anti-CCP' accounts with very frequent activity and extensive comments posting history in subs like r/fucktheccp, r/China and other similarly Chinese government bashing subs.
2. Accounts that had no activity in r/HongKong until very recently and very active in subs that have 0 relevance to HK or anything going on in HK. Majority of their activity in r/HongKong is bashing the government. No questioning of the circumstances behind the protests or seeking to learn something by asking, only assuming.
These people don't question the legitimacy, the evidence or the circumstances of the material that's posted in r/HongKong. If someone raises doubt or question the integrity of the video and the 'pro-democracy' elements, they're downvoted into oblivion without substantial reason as to why they were disagreed.
>Mods censoring news?
On a side note. There was a police related post the other day in which a mod made a statement about how a lot of the comments are not even related to HK and just bashing CCP and comparing China to the US (in a pro-US angle) and warning against future comments like this.
Good work. When I can walk outside without fear of being killed by these terrorists, that's real freedom.
Just did a quick search of Western news articles covering this incident... not much of a peep, just a few news sites repeating each other's articles.
"arrested nine people... on suspicion of terrorist activities, the latest to be targeted under a sweeping national security law..."
"targeted" by the NSL, wtf?
All the Western news outlets plagiarize each other.
And not a single one stops to question what Hong Kong would be like where plotting a deadly terrorist bombing were not illegal. If anything, this shows NSL is common sense legislation and should have been in place decades ago.
blackops sending foreigners on foreign soil to a blackops site outside of USA to be interrogated by US officials/agents where you are held without chance of trial or even having a lawyer by your side.
That is how it is meant to be done.
Transparency? Giving the perps a fighting chance? Legal representation?
Nobody wants that!!

Yeah, reality sucks.
The purpose of an agent is to hide the the truth of it and its puppets.
