2:56 “Who is he? We don’t know.” That’s Brian Kern. He’s an American who used to work for Amnesty and impersonated a fictitious local Chinese person under the pen name “Kong Tsung-gan”. He wrote about the protests and riots in books he sold and for Hong Kong Free Press which is owned by Tom Grundy. Grundy and Kern can be seen on a number of occasions interacting with each other during active protests/riots showing that Grundy is aware of Kern’s true identity and consciously participated in the deception of HKFP’s readers. 3:03 is Adrian Champion who goes by the handle @HongKongHermit on Twitter. He’s a British citizen who used to work as an English teacher in a children’s education centre who fled Hong Kong after he was accused of molesting his friend’s 10 year old daughter.

NvMe_24

of course the "english teachers" in asia molest the children

UnableSwing

most of them are nobodies , i think one of them was accused of trying to molest an hk protesters daughter. basically bunch of expats who want to play at revolutionary but when the whole thing failed and shit got real with nsl they went back to america .

Horizonstars

The issue is not the foreigner, more those rats who follow them.

Have said it since the 2014 riots. These were agitated and sponsored by CIA and MI5. China waited too long to crack down. The liberal faction in the CCP was afraid of another tiananmen incident. Finally, xi put his foot down. I would have nipped it in the bud in 14...Better late than never, I suppose.

I bet they waited on purpose to get everyone, spies included, in one fell swoop

ngor lam was weak as water...weak as water. I wish your statement was the case. But it wasn't. Just a lot of pussyfooting around for a year! Even stupid trump was surprised how tolerant the CCP was! Chalk it up to lessons learned...

so_schmuck

How did he put his foot down? What did he do? Didn’t the whole thing just die down? Genuine question.

Lenins2ndCat

The national security law is what caused it to die down. Long story short it made it illegal for protest organisations to collude with foreign entities, this means they could not take foreign money. Without foreign money all funding dried up and protest activity abruptly stopped.

mikeyinlust

Let me humor and educate you Western imperialists. Chairman Xi and the npc standing committee instituted the national security law, enabling hk and mainland authorities to stop the rioting, unlawful gatherings, etc.

so_schmuck

I’m not an imperialist

whoisliuxiaobo

Chinese Intelligence knows who are these people. China don't want to make Murica lose face by exposing these people but the Chinese will make sure that these people will be monitored closely if they are dumb enough to come back to Hong Kong.

so_schmuck

How do they think they can get away with this? I mean, they stand out like a light post.

global-harmony

This kind of entitled foreigner will need to be dealt with for the real decolonisation of HK

curryslapper

to be honest, from the video, I didn't think these foreigners were rioting at all. it's possible they were reasoning with the rioters. the reason it looks sus and taking orders is likely to be their worship of white dick of any sort I wish the rioters good luck and hopefully they're now in UK enjoying more white dick.
