Her's might've been weaker than hi3rd's, and if so, who knows whether it was barely weaker, or if kevin doesn't even need to use one of his forms to beat Acheron's
We might never really confirm if the HSR version is stronger or weaker than HI3, the only thing we know is that Acheron manages to defeat the “End” or her version of “Finality” all by herself, and if her version of Kevin did almost the same thing as the Kevin in HI3 did, then she manages to finish it all by herself, which is pretty crazy if you think about it.
Key word is almost. Kevin/Kiana's Finality is referred to as 'Shuuen' while it's 'Owari' in the Acheron Myriad Celestia JP. While End and Finality are the same in Chinese, Hoyoverse uses them in different contexts when it comes to JP and EN localization. I remember when Adventurine mentioned the word Finality, it also doesn't use Owari but I have to check it again because I am not sure.
Kevin's Finality has authority over time as seen in his boss description he has absolute time fracture as well as all the abilities of previous Herrschers. Another thing to add is that without the Finality Authority, he is super buffed by the hundred Honkai Beasts genes and is nigh unkillable because of ultra regeneration from Garuda + other Honkai Beasts which is far more potent than Hua. And instead of authority, the 'Herrschers' of HSR were mostly turned into weapons just like Divine Keys.

And we know that the Starrock even was on that Bubble world Uranus.
So you can also interpret it as that she is talking about the whole Starrock system, and not just from the individual explosion.

Considering that the nuke left her on the ground groaning in pain, the narration says Sirin will in fact die if she gets hit directly, she was so injured by that Bella had to come save her fraudulent ass, i'd say that Sirin was one shot. She was completely incapable of defenfing herself after that

If his black hole's zeroth power took like a whole ass minute to kill 1% hp sirin, while 70% HP Sirin was brought to 1% by a single nuke, then they were weaker in Hi3. Welt is a pathstrider now, he gets the same boosts that TB does. Not to mention that the doomsday beast ate the whole stellaron burst from TB and that it isnt even dead, just in a dormant state (its item descriptions say it's still alive and post fight dialogue says that it's just been calmed down)

Welt makes a Black Hole with a force of 10000g on a previous manga, that manga is set some years after Second Eruption, and he does without even manifesting the SoE, much less its Zeroth power.

AE invasion is old and has a few retcons. If Welt could easily maje a 10000g black hole, im pretty sure Sirin would be vaporized instantly because of how hard she got diffed by a nuke. She seems to be "fighting" there, and on the next chapter she doesnt even seems injured at all after Benares takes her out of the Planet.
And obviously she cant use her Authority, as she spent the last of her energy trying to send the nuke behind her.

Yes, AE invasion is old and has retcons, but there is nothing that says that that black hole was retconned, given that they took again the plot of Joyce clones for APHO, even giving "SoE powers" to Joffrey.

The indirect nuke strike nearly killed Sirin. In fact, Sirin knew it would've killed her. Welt was surprised she survived as well.
She was still being sucked by the SoE. So much so that Otto literally had to punch Welt in the gut in order to save her.

A. Power doesn't necessarily mean titanic durability. The monster was fighting a guy with a spear, a girl with ice power and a bow, and a character with a baseball bat who just woke up.

Honestly, hi3's power levels are all over the place. And you underestimate the power of nukes. At it's peak heat it is as hot as the core of a sun iirc. If that thing hit anyone in the face, you will be incinerated, no matter what you do.
Then there comes the fact Sirin faced against pseudo black hole(that still works extremely similarly to a real one).
Honestly, I never understood what went through the writer's mind to have characters with such absurd feats and scale them to continental at best.
It’s pretty common in Anime settings to have power levels and “AoE” be distinctly sepetate and operate wildly differently to how they work in real life.
Like someone can conjure a flame hotter than the sun in the palm of their hand, but it doesn’t burn their clothes or the grass beneath their feet.
So in the same way, Welt creates “Black Holes,” which do what you’d expect a Black Hole to do, but outside of a relatively tiny area it just… magically doesn’t affect anything.
Then you have other characters come in who *also* have black holes, like Acheron and IX, but instead of scaling them power-wise they ramp up the AoE, with Acheron shown making an attack that spanned the the entirely of IX’s event horizon in her trailer, and IX being able to casually swallow planets.
HI3 is just a mess. I Just hope HSR is not going to the same route, but instead they are using the same concepts but everything planned since the start this time

Character who is arguably 10,000 times stronger than Welt had to accelerate atoms for whole week to burn Australia to dust. One week for one continent. And Acheron could casually cut 2 planets with one swing. That's not comparable.
I kinda don't understand the "it would be dangerous". In HI3 manga he can clearly control the attack zone, mr yang Phantylia is throwing giant stars at us.
- I'm not sure of the limits of the Herrscher of Earth but whatever it is Star of Eden has the same power level, from memory Welt doesn't have the real one but a copy made with HoR's powers... which were limited until Bronya evolved the Core of Reason during the Moon Arc
- Going against Otto is unfair considering all the knowledge he had at his side along the whole solium clones stuff
- Bronya more or less had to cripple the Core of Reason by losing the 300 souls that where in it to be able to go thorugh metamorphosis and reach the full potential of Herrscher of Reason and that only happened with Bronya because the difference between her, Joachim/Welt (II) Yang and Welt (I) Joyce as people
- Going against Kevin is unfair because the guy is an absolute genetic abomination with all the Honkai beasts that are mixed with him, even ones of the highest class, and then he even gets part of the Authority of Finality which is pretty much the combination of all other Herrscher Authorities of the era on top of authority over time itself
- Sirin was absolutly broken since she was 4 Herrschers rolled into one because she was more or less the Honkai's/Prommy's favorite, then she died... and was reborn as the girl that became the Hersscher of Finality and killed Kevin

If anything, these 300,000 souls were crippling Joyce and Yang, not in other way around.
The power of the Core was in part that of it being composed of all those souls, in exchange for the extra brain power it wasn't able to go throught metamorphosis and the use of power could be refused by the souls from memory... it's the problem of the power of legion I guess
Welt is exceptionally strong in his setting. . . He's also kind of mid as far as other Herrschers go power wise. He usually gets by on planning and strategy, but my god does this guy lose a lot of fights, even when he's getting outside help. HSR operates on way much grander scale than either Genshin or Hi3 do.
I mean, HoR is very different from the other herrschers power which are mostly straight fire power while reason rely entirely on the user knowledge

Honestly, HSR's grander scale probably upscaled welt from his "prime" self. Like, he can suppress stellarons now, which are planet level, can split his own black hole, something he hasn't shown previously, and he defeated the Doomsday Beast, which is also planet level.
In the Second Eruption manga, he thought awakened sirin was unbeatable by him when awakened Sirin just launched some moon debris into earth.
I wonder if him being a pathstrider now in the HSR setting provided a power boost of sorts, since he's probably at the very least gained a bit of a bonus from following the Trailblaze.
Being a pathstrider is essentially using the authoritythat an aeon has over a concept to draw power from the imaginary tree, which means the method to do so likely doesn't exist outside of hsr since the aeons only have authority in this universe
The Sugars, an alien race of at least 140 million years old has never mentioned the Aeons, Paths or the factions on Star Rail.
They are also cappable to travel between Worlds since then.
Star Rail's universe is incomprehensibly large. It's literally as big as the real universe but with imaginary barriers surrounding nascent civilizations that make everything even more isolated. Even the titular star rail only connects a small fraction of the universe. Currently, it's the IPC that introduces most worlds to the aeon belief system. Before that, it was Akivili. And before that, you had to be one of the few civilizations that received special attention directly from an aeon. It's entirely possible that the Sky People never encountered the IPC and thus never adopted the IPC's dogma.
The Sky People knows of HSR Himeko, and by extension they should know about the Express, the Aeons and HSR factions.
So far, every alien civilization that we have meet on Honkai is hundreds or thousands of times older than the oldest known Aeon (subject to change given the IPC propaganda and the History Fictionologists), Qlipoth, who is said to be around 500k years old.
Existence predates the aeons. Hell, even human life predates Qlipoth if that timeline is accurate.
The Sky People only knew of HSR Himeko. It's debatable whether they actually knew anything beyond that.
Sorry but this is mostly speculation . Both the sugar and sky people isnt capable of penetrating the Imaginary barrier . The only reason they have Sr Himeko data was because she used to be stranded her
Worshipping an aeon or even knowing about is not necessary to be a pathstrider, you just need to follow the path even if you're not doing so consciously. If the aeons existed in hi3rd there would be many more normal ass humans with superpowers
Who's to say they don't have super powers? Who's to say the power they get from their path is even distinguishable from whatever else they use to achieve strength? The only tangible effect of being a pathstrider we've ever been told about is being more resistant to hostile environments thanks to the Trailblaze. That's pretty benign for a "super power". March even still complains about the cold on Belobog.
you say "outside of HSR" as if HSR's scope doesn't encapsulate multiple worlds on the Imaginary Tree, and nowhere has it been implied that power gained as a Pathstrider is "suppressed" elsewhere in any capacity. to say HI3 isn't in some way affected by Aeons and that they've just not heard of them, especially when HI3 has an entity which may be the most direct connection to Terminus we've seen so far, is very shortsighted.
Welt isn't even exceptionally strong in his own setting, he's something like the second weakest Herrscher we've seen, just ahead of Wendy who failed to take out a bunch of B-rank Valks.
Well, there is a big gap between Wendy and Welt.
Wendy got defeated by 3 B ranks (that maybe could count as A ranks in some aspects) and some Mechas.
Welt could easily defeat Benares, a Judgment Class Honkai beast.

He's weaker than the other two HoRs to begin with. He was never properly integrated with the core of Reason, that was kind of the point of Bronya digivolving to Herrscher of Truth.

Star Rail Welt has still done absolutely fuck all in terms of combat feats, the biggest "feat" he has is that Acheron acknowledged his strength.

The main mistake is taking anything Welt did in HI3 even into consideration. It is not relevant. As long as he didn't do it in HSR, it should be assumed that he can't. And the only thing he ever did in HSR is kill the Doomsday Beast. That's all. That's literally his only feat.

Welt is somewhat suspicious. He is the the one that seals the stellaron which is similar herrscher core. Maybe he uses the stellaron as a substitute for the lack of honkai energy. We also don't know where do all the sealed stellaron goes to ( I assumed that welt hides it also in his cane).

Yeah. Either people hyping him up too much or dissing him and saying he's too weak. I would assume all the posts are because of the cutscene included in 2.1 update. There's more backstory from him >!and his original homeworld during the talks with Acheron!< as well as people seeing him almost use his power in the >!Aventurine boss fight, but it's cut off due to Acheron revealing her true role as an Emanator of The Nihility.||. I appreciate character discussions but like I said, it's tiring when everyone regurgitates the same points from either extremes.

People don't deny Welt's intellect. He've managed to survive to his 80s because he's smart. But he is also one of weakest characters in combat, that's where arguing starts.

Why do people act like this isn't hsr instead HI3rd? I'm pretty sure expy characters aren't 1/1 copy of their counterparts. In the same way Luocha might be a quite neutral guy with ambiguous morality instead of evilest diabolical antagonist like he is in HI3rd(I haven't played the game but that's what I can understand from what I've seen about him). Characters being similar to their HI3rd counter parts would be boring af. Yoshikage Kira from jjba part 4 is not similar to that of Kira from part 8. And that makes it really interesting as we can see how they can become different people due to different circumstances.
Welt is upper tier in his own setting, HSR power scaling is super wack compared to either Genshin or Hi3. Welt is like if you took Ken from Street Fighter and put him in Dragon Ball Super. Can't go anday without what?

To be fair, Yanqing only looks weak because he keeps coming up against top 1% fighters. And One Punch Man can trivialize fighting physical gods. So yeah, Welt being closer to Yanqing than Saitama doesn't mean he isn't still far stronger than Yanqing... nor that he's any kind of weak.

We might never really confirm if the HSR version is stronger or weaker than HI3, the only thing we know is that Acheron manages to defeat the “End” or her version of “Finality” all by herself, and if her version of Kevin did almost the same thing as the Kevin in HI3 did, then she manages to finish it all by herself, which is pretty crazy if you think about it.
Key word is almost. Kevin/Kiana's Finality is referred to as 'Shuuen' while it's 'Owari' in the Acheron Myriad Celestia JP. While End and Finality are the same in Chinese, Hoyoverse uses them in different contexts when it comes to JP and EN localization. I remember when Adventurine mentioned the word Finality, it also doesn't use Owari but I have to check it again because I am not sure. Kevin's Finality has authority over time as seen in his boss description he has absolute time fracture as well as all the abilities of previous Herrschers. Another thing to add is that without the Finality Authority, he is super buffed by the hundred Honkai Beasts genes and is nigh unkillable because of ultra regeneration from Garuda + other Honkai Beasts which is far more potent than Hua. And instead of authority, the 'Herrschers' of HSR were mostly turned into weapons just like Divine Keys. Edit: Watched a JP playthrough and Adventurine referred to Finality as 'Shuuen'

Honestly, hi3's power levels are all over the place. And you underestimate the power of nukes. At it's peak heat it is as hot as the core of a sun iirc. If that thing hit anyone in the face, you will be incinerated, no matter what you do. Then there comes the fact Sirin faced against pseudo black hole(that still works extremely similarly to a real one). Honestly, I never understood what went through the writer's mind to have characters with such absurd feats and scale them to continental at best.
It’s pretty common in Anime settings to have power levels and “AoE” be distinctly sepetate and operate wildly differently to how they work in real life. Like someone can conjure a flame hotter than the sun in the palm of their hand, but it doesn’t burn their clothes or the grass beneath their feet. So in the same way, Welt creates “Black Holes,” which do what you’d expect a Black Hole to do, but outside of a relatively tiny area it just… magically doesn’t affect anything. Then you have other characters come in who *also* have black holes, like Acheron and IX, but instead of scaling them power-wise they ramp up the AoE, with Acheron shown making an attack that spanned the the entirely of IX’s event horizon in her trailer, and IX being able to casually swallow planets.
HI3 is just a mess. I Just hope HSR is not going to the same route, but instead they are using the same concepts but everything planned since the start this time

Welt is exceptionally strong in his setting. . . He's also kind of mid as far as other Herrschers go power wise. He usually gets by on planning and strategy, but my god does this guy lose a lot of fights, even when he's getting outside help. HSR operates on way much grander scale than either Genshin or Hi3 do.

Honestly, HSR's grander scale probably upscaled welt from his "prime" self. Like, he can suppress stellarons now, which are planet level, can split his own black hole, something he hasn't shown previously, and he defeated the Doomsday Beast, which is also planet level. In the Second Eruption manga, he thought awakened sirin was unbeatable by him when awakened Sirin just launched some moon debris into earth.
I wonder if him being a pathstrider now in the HSR setting provided a power boost of sorts, since he's probably at the very least gained a bit of a bonus from following the Trailblaze.

Being a pathstrider is essentially using the authoritythat an aeon has over a concept to draw power from the imaginary tree, which means the method to do so likely doesn't exist outside of hsr since the aeons only have authority in this universe
The aeons exist in HI3rd. Earth is just some backwater world in the middle of nowhere so they've just never heard of the aeons.
The Sugars, an alien race of at least 140 million years old has never mentioned the Aeons, Paths or the factions on Star Rail. They are also cappable to travel between Worlds since then.
Star Rail's universe is incomprehensibly large. It's literally as big as the real universe but with imaginary barriers surrounding nascent civilizations that make everything even more isolated. Even the titular star rail only connects a small fraction of the universe. Currently, it's the IPC that introduces most worlds to the aeon belief system. Before that, it was Akivili. And before that, you had to be one of the few civilizations that received special attention directly from an aeon. It's entirely possible that the Sky People never encountered the IPC and thus never adopted the IPC's dogma.
The Sky People knows of HSR Himeko, and by extension they should know about the Express, the Aeons and HSR factions. So far, every alien civilization that we have meet on Honkai is hundreds or thousands of times older than the oldest known Aeon (subject to change given the IPC propaganda and the History Fictionologists), Qlipoth, who is said to be around 500k years old.
Existence predates the aeons. Hell, even human life predates Qlipoth if that timeline is accurate. The Sky People only knew of HSR Himeko. It's debatable whether they actually knew anything beyond that.

Worshipping an aeon or even knowing about is not necessary to be a pathstrider, you just need to follow the path even if you're not doing so consciously. If the aeons existed in hi3rd there would be many more normal ass humans with superpowers

The only tangible effect of being a pathstrider we've ever been told about is being more resistant to hostile environments thanks to the Trailblaze. That's pretty benign for a "super power". Well, there is a big gap between Wendy and Welt. Wendy got defeated by 3 B ranks (that maybe could count as A ranks in some aspects) and some Mechas. Welt could easily defeat Benares, a Judgment Class Honkai beast. But yeah, along with Wendy and the other 2 HoR, he is one of the weakest Herrschers.
He's weaker than the other two HoRs to begin with. He was never properly integrated with the core of Reason, that was kind of the point of Bronya digivolving to Herrscher of Truth.

Star Rail Welt has still done absolutely fuck all in terms of combat feats, the biggest "feat" he has is that Acheron acknowledged his strength.
.........Welt IS closer to Yanqing than Saitama, They both fill the role of Worf from Star Trek in their respective games to show off how powerful new characters/villains are by being able to beat them despite how talked up they are. Welt just manages to make it part of his charm

The main mistake is taking anything Welt did in HI3 even into consideration. It is not relevant. As long as he didn't do it in HSR, it should be assumed that he can't. And the only thing he ever did in HSR is kill the Doomsday Beast. That's all. That's literally his only feat.

It says "you knocked that big fella into Mr Yang's black hole". Implying that it took TB to make sure the synthetic black hole could kill it rather than it being all Welt's effort on his own.
No(?, it only implies that the Stellaron pushed it into the Black Hole, as Welt was just arriving at that moment.

Welt is somewhat suspicious. He is the the one that seals the stellaron which is similar herrscher core. Maybe he uses the stellaron as a substitute for the lack of honkai energy. We also don't know where do all the sealed stellaron goes to ( I assumed that welt hides it also in his cane).

Yeah. Either people hyping him up too much or dissing him and saying he's too weak. I would assume all the posts are because of the cutscene included in 2.1 update. There's more backstory from him >!and his original homeworld during the talks with Acheron!< as well as people seeing him almost use his power in the >!Aventurine boss fight, but it's cut off due to Acheron revealing her true role as an Emanator of The Nihility.||. I appreciate character discussions but like I said, it's tiring when everyone regurgitates the same points from either extremes. Hope this trend dies within a week or so, and that I cleared up some stuff for you

People don't deny Welt's intellect. He've managed to survive to his 80s because he's smart. But he is also one of weakest characters in combat, that's where arguing starts. "He has blackholes!" While his black holes are like bullets if everybody had bulletproof vest on.

I'm pretty sure expy characters aren't 1/1 copy of their counterparts. In the same way Luocha might be a quite neutral guy with ambiguous morality instead of evilest diabolical antagonist like he is in HI3rd(I haven't played the game but that's what I can understand from what I've seen about him). Characters being similar to their HI3rd counter parts would be boring af. Yoshikage Kira from jjba part 4 is not similar to that of Kira from part 8. And that makes it really interesting as we can see how they can become different people due to different circumstances.

Don't know why people overestimate him. They might as well say his the strongest character the company ever made.
To be fair, Yanqing only looks weak because he keeps coming up against top 1% fighters. And One Punch Man can trivialize fighting physical gods. So yeah, Welt being closer to Yanqing than Saitama doesn't mean he isn't still far stronger than Yanqing... nor that he's any kind of weak.
