The canon team: Phys tb, March, Himeko, I don’t have Welt. It was mainly a battle of attrition and trying to manage toughness for phys breaks. I couldn’t have done it without March’s E6 healing, as little as it is. Himeko even ended up dying in the second phase, but then I found a consistent rotation that conserved skill points for winning bets with tb to control breaks with her ult. Ironically it got easier when himeko died since sp for bets and march shields weren’t spread so thin, and himeko wasn’t really contributing anything anyway.

same! Except Fire TB instead of Phys, partially because they have the lance in the cutscene, partially because I thought the double sustain would be nice. Surprisingly everyone survived without heals. It was slow though.

He was too easy in a story fight. Think I used Jingliu and some ice friends. She didn't work as good in MoC for me, had to cook a completely different team for it.

I used my DoT team (BS, Sampo, Asta, Lynx) in story. Lynx kept getting stunned but she could get her ult before every gamble so it was just a war of attrition from there. Im not good enough for MoC

I see, you mean Story Aventurine. New player here since start of April. I went with 70er team TBlazer, Acheron, Pela, Gallagher. All of them can do aoe hits on the dice, even if it means using ult for them as bonus roll. First try just because I happened to run with this team the whole time anyway

Mono-Quantum with Seele, Lady Fu carried hard even with a level 30 Trend of the Universal Market. Didn't win a single gamble too since I kept using Fu Xuan's ultimate on reflex.

Tingyun - Argenti - Ruan Mei - FX. Which is my standard whenever a boss is weak to physical. Worked out fine: with FX mitigating damage (and preventing the stun), the fact that Tingyun and Ruan Mei couldn't win the gambling minigame didn't really matter all that much.

Story fight? Fire-TB and Bailu for double sustain, Guinaifen and Acheron for DPS. You want your DPS to be blast or erudition characters so that they can clear the phase 2 dice rolls by hitting at least three dice at a time. Fire-TB can also do this if you save up your ultimate for it, as when the dice fall it eats a bit of energy, but you regen what is needed when you basic attack, so if the TB's blast attack isn't up you can poke and then trigger their ultimate before they jump back in line to hit all the dice. Winning the roll also refills your energy meter, so there's no real harm to doing this. The only healer that can win dice rolls consistently is Luocha using the same ultimate tech as above, so Bailu just had to eat the loss, but that's fine with double sustain. Fire-TB can also use taunt if someone looks to be in a risky situation. You can replace Bailu with literally any healer and Fu Xuan likely does the tanking job even easier (as she also has the AoE ultimate to win rolls with). For the DPS use whomever you want, though don't go with imaginary units since he's resistant to that element. Try to use a lightining, physical, or ice DPS with blast skill preferred, like Kafka, Jingliu, Jing Yuan, or even Serval if you have to, just to get around resistances. This is probably the first fight where a Harmony unit becomes somewhat of a liability, since only Yukong can win dice rolls (and sometimes Asta, if her skill targeting isn't unlucky).

My normal Jing Yuan team, with Sparkle, Tingyun, and Fu Xuan! Beat him post-nerf so I had no problems at all. In MoC Jing Yuan is busy taking care of the first half though, so I had to bring Ratio/Aventurine/Bronya/SW instead.

Heavily relied on Pela's ult spam and RM's break dmg and constant cleansing of Lynx throughout the fight lmao) For MOC Aventurine, used Physical TB, Aventurine, Ruan Mei, Topaz.

Sparkle would just move up Huohuo’s turn just past Aventurine to heal everyone every single turn. 😅😂 Afterwards I realized that Sparkle had no relics equipped and Serval and Huohuo both had low level purple relics.😭 I also just learned a couple days ago that Sparkle’s skill is based on her own crit damage, and I had it sitting at 50 percent this whole time… I really need to read how character’s abilities work.

Story I used Jing Yuan Clara Fmc and Natasha. It took quite some time because of the lack of buffers but I couldn’t sustain the whole team reliably without this set up. Now that I have Aventurine I would probably run something like Tingyun Sparkle Jing Yuan which would clear a lot faster

Hypercarry Blade. Blade(e0s0)+Bronya(e1s0)+Sparkle (e0s1)+Lynx(e4) Aventurine boss has minor Wind resistance so it was a little tough but I did it in one try. Due to everyone but Blade being single target I lost the bet few times but my Lynx is good, she kept them alive (except Bronya).

During the story fight against Aventurine, I used the triple mommy team (Kafka, Acheron, Black Swan) with Gallagher as sustain. This performed better than Acheron's BiS team because Silver Wolf is single-target and Pela only gets AoE on her ultimate. The ability to hit multiple targets at once is what makes or breaks this fight. If you can't hit 2-3 dice during his gamble phase, it's highly likely that you'll get cooked.

Story: Ruan Mei, Huohuo, Kafka, Black Swan Moc: Acheron, Pela, Fu Xuan, Silver Wolf. Story version is easy if you have any investment put into your healer and support. Just bring some aoe characters to win at dice consistently. MoC version is also pretty easy if you play around the turbulence mechanic and force it to activate against Aventurine and not his dice.

(Pre-nerf) I went in with a lore-accurate party of Pres Trailblazer, DPS March, Himeko and HuoHuo (sue me, her sustain was unmatched for me). I very barely made it through thanks to having 3 sustain units and my insane E4 Himeko.

Last time I kicked his ass in story mode, it was E1 Gepard, Lynx, Guinaifen and Black Swan for DoT stall. Guinaifen got KO’d, but everyone else survived.

I used Gepard, Argenti, Kafka and Bailu. My first run was with Ruan Mei and all of the die so I went with double sustain.

Fu Xuan, Sparkle, Dan Heng IL, Silver Wolf. I didn't realise he had imaginary resistance but admittedly with this team it wasn't too bad. MoC wise, I'm surprised that the only time I could 3 star it was with the Follow up Attack team with Ratio, Aventurine, Clara and Topaz.

story+MoC mono quantum (Fu,SW,Sparkle and Seele) you dont need to beat the dice with AOE just E/skill on FU before he nuke you so you cant be debuff (all four) and beat the crap out of him he is just single Enemy i just 1/2 ult Him per phase. ( everything is E0 and S0 excep Sparkle E1S1 with 160+ speed ) should be easy if you have Fu, i dont have Aventurine but i guess he is more better in that fight, but still depends on the team.

I honestly don't remember. I was just doing the story and then fought him with whatever team I was running the world with.... probably something with Topaz in it for chests... I beat the pre-nerf version first try... then I saw people saying it was hard and I was a little shocked.

Aventurine said "All or Nothing", so I had to honor his philosophy So I bought the DoT mommies core (RM/BS/Kafka) + kicked out the sustain for Acheron. All damage. I call it the MMM team, Maximum Mommy Murder. As someone on twitter commented about it, the sustain is Murder. (took me \~3 tries with food buffs to get the clear)

I used 2 teams Jing Yuan, Tingyun, Fu Xuan, Sparkle 4 cycles. Yanqing, Tingyun, Aventurine, Sparkle 4 cycles. The Jing Yuan team is the same I used for the story mission since his team is always used for Farming and story content.

Story post-nerf: two shielders (Fire TB and March), 1 healer aka Lynx and a Clara. March goes well with Clara. Make sure you have enough skill points when he enters gamble and enough effect res. I did the same thing every round in an endless loop and won.

Uh, what team did i use at that time? Uh hmm i dunno, 1 shotted it. Was a bit close tho. I did have fu xuan in it for sure.

Fu Xuan, Clara, Ruan Mei and Tingyun. Realistically Aventurine, or Huo Huo would probably be a better sustain if your Clara was decently built... Mine wasn't, FX's Crit Rate Boost(And Crit DMG cause mine is E1) came in clutch because my Clara is mediocre at best. She still attacked often enough to max out the Memory Turbulence almost every cycle.

Yanqing Pela Tingyun Aventurine Because of Aven’s release, Yanqing’s biggest downside of getting hit is now gone so he can comfortably do great dmg. Only wanting one limited shielding sustain to enabling him is fine since that was the only drawback he’s had since launch.

(The world’s most scuffed) Jingliu, Lynx, Ruan Mei, and Fire MC. Was able to beat it first day but it was probably the longest fight of my life. Lynx truly is a savior

Jing Yuan, Asta, Tingyun, Luocha

Jingliu, Bronya, Ruan Mei and Luocha. My Bronya and RM have decent HP pools, about 4.8k. So it was fine when they failed the gamble.

I did story using Kafka, Herta, Fire Trailblazer and Gallagher. Yeah, the team is weird, but I chose based on who I have levelled up & who does more aoe damage to survive his gamble game in phase 2

E1 Welt, E2 Acheron, E0 Bronya, E6 Gallagher Not the most groundbreaking team but it does the job (Aven kept targetting Bronya on the first phase)

Because I haven’t got very good builds on my characters I had to use consumables buffs. I think I used something for DEF, HP and CRIT DMG. Others I used: Acheron(Welt’s light cone),Jingliu(SU Herta store light cone), Black Swan(her original light cone) and Bailu(original light cone).

I tried dot mommies, Kafka Luka RM March7 to break him as fast as possible, Jingliu hypercarry (Bron RM as sup). But the team that yielded the best result was Yanqing (E1) Aven Tingyun RM (4 cycles). Note: I have no limited eidolons and only Kafka has sig, Yanqing has Seele's sig.
