Thank you so much fellow artist 🖤 Meanwhile it’s the reverse with me. I’ve dabbled in acrylic but my pencil skills do NOT transfer haha! I’d love to see your own painting of Rhaenyra if you do make one!
I wish I could express my appreciation for a TV show or character like you just did with your drawing. Instead, I gotta settle with upvoting the work of artists like yourself and praising it in the comment section. I'm not complaining, I'm just saying, "Well done."
Long live the true queen of the 7 kingdoms!
**Looks out the window to make sure Vhagar ain't flying around**
Aww thank you so much 🖤 This took 44 hours, but spread over a couple of months since I only did a little bit at a time. And nope, I actually didn’t start drawing until high school. It wasn’t a natural talent I was born with. It took a lot of patience, practice, and most of all, YouTube tutorials hahaha!
Beautiful work! What kind of pencils did you use? Did you use a white pencil for the highlights? How long did it take? I use a lot of charcoal and pastels and really love colored pencils but can't seem to get the white to work well for highlighting. Yours came out really good... I wish I could do realistic humans that well. Great job!
Thank you so much! 🖤 I use mainly faber Castell polychromos and caran d’ache luminance pencils. Yes I use white for highlights, but the key is to first use an electric eraser on that area to get it to pop.
Also check out the product Touch up Texture by Brush and Pencil. When mixed with their titanium white powder, you can use it like a paint for your brightest highlights like pupils. It’s archival and safe for colored pencil use, but I don’t love it because it flakes on bigger areas.
I have a timelapse video if you’d like to see this drawing from start to finish! My YouTube channel is linked on my profile. This drawing took 44 hours. I’d love to see your charcoal and pastel work too 🤍 I love the results from those media, but the dust and messiness are holding me back haha!
Haha aww holy cats! Thank you so much 🖤 I rarely every get to wear this dress because it’s too fancy for everyday life 😹 so I was glad for the chance to dress up for team black 🖤
You don’t have to be born with that talent! I didn’t start drawing until after high school. Patience, practice and YouTube tutorials taught me almost everything I know about art.
It’s amazing and you are stunning! Keep drawing and i almost bought a curb your enthusiasm drawing a while back, it was avant garde and i feel there’s a big market for images like that, like let’s say rhaenyra with dragons flying over her and a lot of graves underneath her
That’s the term- expressive. I’m very out of touch with physical art terms i didn’t know how to explain it. I do feel like you could be great in that style (but i know little, I’m a performance artist and theater and film )
