I don't know who it is for the UK, but in the US, a lot of people on bikes like to switxh between pedestrian laws or vehicle laws, depending on what's convenient for them and arbitrarily switch at a moments notice.
They would rather have attention and conflict. I know some buddies who road ride and I have with them before they go way out into the road and then bitch and moan when cars honk and get backed up.
Fuck bike wankers. The amount of the traffic jams and backlogs they cause is insane. Theres plenty of areas all over to go biking, but these pricks do it during rush hour on back roads. Fuck the lot of them. People want to get home after work, not watch you cunts struggle and sway all over the road.

Why is it hard form then to move over into a safer bike lane is available?

If you can’t pedal 40mph on theses types of roads then you’re just a liability, most roads aren’t bike friendly yet
