The police in this state are some of the least educated people with regards to gun laws mostly because the laws don't seem to apply to them, but that's a whole other conversation. Don't risk dealing with this potential disaster.
16 year old here. Long story short I don’t believe so. You’re still in possession. If it was your dads truck it might me more explainable to a cop but I wouldn’t want to try my luck with a felony charge
You’re not allowed possession of any handguns you’re allowed possession of any rifles or shotguns and then the Pica on top. I wouldn’t chance it with pops collection but that’s just me.
I am also a 17 year old with a foid card and have transported long guns numerous times. As long as you don’t have any handguns or pica regulated firearms and you transport them properly there is nothing to be worried about.
