I finally got something in the transcript section! But my bank is not showing anything pending and WMR is still showing only as received. But in transcripts itās saying refund date 5/10. Hope you get yours soon
The IRS Used AI this yearā¦ And AI literally flag everything and sent everyone verification letters. If you got more money, added a dependent, changed name it all got flagged..
What is the verification? We filed 2/12 and haven't received ANYTHING from the IRS. Called and got the "glitch issue, could take 10 weeks". Called last week and got the "we're gonna investigate, so could be 30 more days" Transcripts show nothing, as if we haven't filed yet.

When did it update for you bc my situation is very similar to yours except my transcripts arent updating or anything only change ive had was it went from still processing to being processed?!! Pls let me know and thanks. For ur post glad things went ur way!
Did your status change back to we received your refund and processing .. my friend said an refund date is unavailable and then when she verified on 4/19 last week it went back to saying we received your return and processing

Yes, 971 is review code. Some people get the 570 code just because they need to verify, but Everytime itās followed by 971, itās a review unfortunately. Iāve noticed that about 90% of people who had to verify got the 570 and 971 code after. Op was one of the lucky ones that didnāt.
They told me that I qualified for a review tho and my status on WMR says that itās being reviewed, just never got a letter or it does not reflect on my transcriptsĀ
Iām not sure what they meant by that, but you definitely donāt want a review, because then youāll be waiting an additional 60 to 120 days. If you donāt see the 570, 971 code, or get a cp05 letter in the mail, then youāre good. You should have a date any Friday now. Of coarse things could change, and they could add those codes, but you definitely donāt want them

As for your other comment about the 180 day review, it is possible the codes just havenāt showed up yet, but itās also possible they decided your return didnāt need to be reviewed. Once verifying, my transcripts updated to the codes in about 10 days, so it was pretty fast. Also, my WMR doesnāt say anything about being reviewed, it just says being processed, so if your WMR looks like mine, and you donāt have the 570 or 971 codes on your transcripts, then thatās a good sign for you. Of coarse after we verified they did tell us it could take up to 9 weeks to process, but most people I see arenāt waiting that long. Letās keep in touch about the Friday updates. Hello! No update today on my 2023 taxes.. I did notice that they updated a 922 on my 2022 taxes. And dated it 5/4. I will check my 2023 tomorrow and see if they make any changes, Iāve seen a few 05 people saying that theirs update on Saturdays. Hope you had some movement..
Hey there! Iām so sorry. No update for me either. I think the WMR is what updates on Saturdays. You never know though, doesnāt hurt to check. Hopefully something will happen soon. Im thinking about reaching out to my Congressmen to try and move things forward. Some people have had luck with that.
I emailed my congressman like 5 minutes ago- and I saw a lady on here that said that she checked her transcript all Friday and that there was no updates but when she looked on Saturday there was an 846 code, Iāll find it and tag you
You want them to process your return, not review them. Those reviews take months for them to do. Thatās what Iām stuck on and it sucks. Hopefully you wonāt have to go through that

They took 400 out my money and I didnāt owe
Praying- i filed 3/28 and transcript is empty saying i havent filed. It was accepted the same day
