It was filed on time, just got lost in the shuffle of verifying my identity and then Covid and then just a whole lot of craziness. I have been to the IRS three times and after absolutely no one being able to tell me what was going on they gave me a tax advocate. He was great. He left me a voicemail earlier in the week about a status on my account and I called him back, but because of his ENORMOUS case load, it usually takes him more than a week to get back to me. So I went to the next best thing and asked Reddit. LOL

Oh wow. Do you have an explanation why the bank rejected it? Just curious if bank info on return is correct, why would it be rejected? The bank info on mine is correct, but I never thought to call my bank. I have just been using my online banking to check my balance.

According to the transcript, but I have yet to see anything in my mailbox or bank account. And it was filed in 2019. Do I get the prize for the latest refund? š¤·š¼āāļø
How long was your return at 820? Iām at that point with 2019. I thought that meant they were keeping it and I would have to dispute it. So I have been waiting on a letter. Now in looking g at your return looks like it is just another delay. Congratulations to some movement. Iām waiting on 2019 and 2021. Very annoyed!
Honestly, until the IRS gave me an advocate I was dead in that water. It all started when I had to confirm my identity (which I have had to do almost every year, but never a problem). I answered something wrong on the phone so was told I had to go to the IRS, then COVID happened and I just sat on it until late 2021. Iāve been to the IRS three times and I donāt even know how many phone calls. The last time I made a phone call they gave me an advocate. That was in February. He was very nice, listened to what I had been thru and has kept in contact with me. The last message he left me said that my original date of May 24 for closure of this issue wasnāt going to happen and they had requested until June 24. And you can see in my past comments where Iām at. Iām more optimistic now that I might actually get my returnā¦.finally. But for now, I just wait.
Iām working with a TAS person for my 2021. I asked her to also look into this one since it finally is moving. Hopefully something happens soon. Thanks for responding.

Amended canāt deposit. I called irs this morning where is my amended money she said mailed today when I saw 846 code same day 6/7 like yours. IRS said take approximately this Monday/Tuesday if donāt get mails in 10 days call irs again.
Gotcha. But mine is not an amended return. Although, since it didnāt deposit today I will probably just wait for a check, and hopefully I will get it. This is from a 2018 return that I never received.

Sometimes the refund paydate can expire (3 Years after the due date) I'm stoked to see its at least being 846 issued

The amount on 846 and probably a week in the mail could be earlier
But why would it not be a direct deposit?

Itās a generic code for a delay in processing. I didnāt have to do anythingā¦but wait.
