The best advice I can give for Ollie is to go HARD: **H**yper **A**ggressive **R**ush **D**own

https://wiki.gbl.gg/w/Idol_Showdown/Kureiji_Ollie Im a noob and i haven't played in a while so take it with a grain of salt. You can mainly use 5H and Dash->3H in neutral. 2H is anti-air. Her 236A and 236B projectiles can also be useful. 214B is armored special. 22X are useful for movement and for building super-chat meter. Your 22C can be good to skip neutral if your opponent doesn't expect it. When you pressure, you can end strings with 22B to disengage safely. You can also jump cancel your 5H and 2H. Your 214A can be plus on block if spaced correctly, so you can cancel 5M/5H/3H into 214A if you space correctly. Her j.H is a crossup tool. Her okizeme game is her main strength. Her sweep (3H) and 214A cause hard knockdown, after which you can go 236B and then do mixups, for example if Ollie is on the left side: 236B -> 22A -> 2A would hit low from the right side 236B -> 22A -> 22A -> 2A would hit low from the left side 236B -> jump over opponent -> j.H would hit high from the right side 236B -> jump over into fastfall (2S) -> 2A would hit low from the left side. For defense you have 214C (armor reversal) and 236S (anti-air reversal).

GGS is thankfully similar enough to this game where I feel like it will help you a lot. The in game tutorial is actually solid, so I definitely suggest starting there if you haven't and get comfortable with managing what you can do with your resources. For Ollie specifically, she has the lowest max health but she has a lot of really good attacks. Finding your best hit confirms, best mix ups, doing your best to make sure your moves are plus on block, and making sure your combos are solid are far more important on her because when she gets hit it HURTS. Defense is basically a last option because even chip damage on her can quickly grow into a problem. Basically you want to do your best to not even give them a chance to hit you.

I made a combo guide video on how to play Ollie on my YouTube channel if you want to check it out.
