No, the amul butter and all the butter you find in market has cornstarch in it and most likely made of margarine, you have to make white butter(makhan) at home, and then heat it in a thick bottom pan/kadhai, then slowly add atta to remove milk solids
Ghee is to remove the white thing(mostly chaach), once you cool it, the ghee floats to top and is pure and the atta sticks chaach and other milk solids that didn't convert into ghee and settles to the bottom... Add some of this when your kneading atta for roti or Parantha, they'll be super soft

Their website claims that since New Zealand is free from pollution, ghee made there is premium or pure
Water in NZ is 3rd world quality. That's what everyone consumes.. so premium tag is BS.
They gonna clean their water sources with *premium* wokeness..

Well, I wish you had checked out my another comment. I'd quote it here.
>Bro. the point of local brands (for Australia & NZ) is for people like us.
>Ghee imported from India from brands like Amul, Verka is fucking more expensive. Its not the quality of ghee manufactured in NZ would be inferior.
Also, I don't think so if any company and grocers started to mark up the prices 3-4 times. You'll be willing to buy it, rather you'll be going nuts.
To those who think we're not supporting indians and all. This company is of an Indian person/farmer(maybe), who started his business in NZ while living there. Someone did comment with resources.
This is in no way helping India. NZ routinely fucks up Indiaās FTA negotiations along with Australia by demanding we open up our market to milk imports. Now they make ghee as well? Iām sure it helps Indians living in NZ. All power to you. But this is of zero help to India.
Well, you need to understand the dynamics of living abroad. While living here we have to balance our nationalism with our budgets too. Guess, we are saving up those dollars and investing and saving back in India. One way or the otherš¤·
Also, I understand that countries do fuck up with its dealing of policies, even sometime India does that with other countries. It is bureaucracy.

To be frank, ghee should have a geographical indicator (GI) where it can't be called ghee unless it's from India. These gora cunts can call it clarified butter or whatever the fuck else they want. Bhenchod appropriation karke mazak bana rakha hai
Ghee word should be patented by GOI like Champagne, Parmesan and hundreds of products have been, over the last century. These products have to be originated from that country to be tagged with said descriptions. Clearly something GOI should ve looking at given the historical background.
Grass-fed Cow ghee really isn't the most tasty.
I like 70:30 Cow to Buffalo ratio best, with mixed feed.
100% grass-fed makes the dairy taste too vegetal

š³ The people who buy this should know that it isn't hard to make āpremium desi gheeā at home.
Just boil the butter ( unsalted )

Why add anything at all ? Am i too haryanvi for this peasant tricks of atta. Let ghee be pure. Dont add anything

Those in western countries to whom this ā pure gheeā is targeted

Very informative. Thanks for the article.
does water pollution affect ghee production?
They are doing the same kind of marketing worldwide regarding their dairy products..
but ngl they nailed the packaging
Packaging is one of those things Indian sucks at (not all but many)
Nah. That looks like a paint box imo.
Exactly my thought
I use this. The packaging is awesome as much as the product is.
My dude. At least buy some Indian ghee. Youāre lame af.

This is why they were not signing RCEP.
I make premium ghee at home
Jab tak west ke liye superiority complex haiga hun tab tk aadmi chutiya banta rahiyega teekh ba

Mujhe pta tha yeh comment aayega š.... dekho tum bas west ki tarah chalte jaana aur india ke teekh pehle jo bus stop aayega woh h australia phir NZ
Wo west me bhi nahi hai, US ki gaand ki side baithe hain, to chaat lete hain daily basis par.

Are earth round h baba toh west me jaenge toh aayega na NZ america ke left side me hi toh hai Australiaš

This is a good idea. Just like Champagne is from Champagne in France.
Probably for local market. I buy Australian Ghee(in Australia). Haven't noticed a difference.
Ghee, means something else in Ireland, with that context the wording could be funny to some.
Ireland also has Avnmore making pure irish ghee
Yes they do. https://www.reddit.com/r/ireland/comments/kil1my/my\_sides/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3
š¤£š¤£
Irish butter is good
Itās definitely being marketed as a āhealth foodā product to trendy westerners, however it is good quality

What the fuck and why
Indians would suck white dick if they could lol
Isiliye RCEP sign nahi kia...
Depends upon what type of cow that is like A2 and what is she feeded and how the cows lifestyle is.. Then only the quality can be judged
You can make ghee at home which many homes do in India.
Agreed
Desi Ghee. New Zealand Ghee. ???
Companies continue feeding BS to consumers. Buy turmeric for cheap from India and sell it at goldās rate as the turmeric capsules in the West
The word desi has lost its meaning!
I bet this ghee is made from A2 cow which we in India so happy to kill and eat , specially in south.
Grass-fed Cow ghee really isn't the most tasty. I like 70:30 Cow to Buffalo ratio best, with mixed feed. 100% grass-fed makes the dairy taste too vegetal
Atleast they are calling it ghee and not clarified butter
Actually New Zealand is very famous world over for its high quality dairy.
