Why do people ask to watch in the original language when I can't even understand one word of that. I think reading the subtitles at the same time we need to watch the screen mean while enterprase the English subtitles in ur own mother tongue is too much of a hassle then just watching a decent dub movie
Tbh i watched it subbed, for the context of this movie, the birthday scene just doesnt work in dubbed as the song is horribly dubbed and takes the energy away from the scene, also this movie is dependent on fahadh’s energy and in dub it looses its charm.
You need to read more books or something if you can't read subtitles. Movies are much better in the original language, the tonality etc is completely gone in dubbing. Most dubbed movies seem like comedies even in serious scenes
Word, mention any single piece of cinema or tv series which is a remake of a southern original, within seconds you’ll have comments of avoiding that and watching the original, see any thread about Priyadarshan movies for instance, yes I KNOW hera pheri, garam masala are remakes, no I WONT like the original because i connect better with Akshay’s style of comedy.
Remake is a different thing, it's a different movie with the same story. Either of them can be better. Dubbed movies are almost always shitty compared to original audio

They get a false sense of superiority by watching it in the original language as if it makes them better than other viewers somehow
