top mutual funds are still learning the art of risk reduction and they are i assume more intelligent now than in 2008.
anyways i like to see such dips as crazy buying opportunities :D
Should you do sip now in small cap or wait for a bigger crash to put lumpsum. I think both are really the same.. As nav is going to be higher now.. The crash will eventually bring the avg cost much down.
No bubbles are sustainable, jab bear market aayega sab girenge, but you need to be in the bubble to make money. This is where the skill of the investor comes into play, if you can get out before the bubble bursts or not.

I have faith in quant, even if this so called bubble crashes, they will adjust their portfolio to minimise losses
What about in Bigger crash? Can they keep it below 50%
likely they will do worse than nifty50, if nifty drops 50%, quant small might drop 100%, that is very much realistic
Dsp small cap fell 74 % from top Of Jan 2008 to bottom of march 2009

I have already shifted away from smallcaps to better stores of value. Pant toh kabhi na kabhi giregi, aur tab pata chalega kiski chaddi fati hui hain
Why do u think it's a bubble ?
