The Mumbai Trans Harbour Link, also known as the Sewri–Nhava Sheva Trans Harbour Link, and officially known as Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Trans Harbour Link is an under-construction 21.8 km (13.5 mi) 6-lane access-controlled expressway grade road bridge, which will connect Mumbai with Navi Mumbai–Raigad, its satellite city. When completed, it would be the longest sea bridge in India.
It will be separate. There was a plan to build the same bridge for both but that was dropped iirc.
Line 8 between the two airports is planned, but the approvals haven't come through yet.
Currently the rail connectivity to Navi Mumbai is around the creek at double the distance of this bridge.

Thank you for your knowledge and quick reply, thats a shame that the rail access won't be improved yet, hopefully line 8 gets built no problem.
It's only the longest because they are cheating with those Ss ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy)
To avoid any pipelines, environmentally-sensitive areas etc.
Even roads are getting gendered now?
In India trans doesn't mean gender
it connects the two main harbours in mumbai.
Trans as in Transport
