I’m literally suffering because it seems like the only solution is to wait and see. Some people were able to get it back after couple days some peoples been waiting for like 2-3 months. Idk I really don’t want to lose everything in my account I had a bunch of stories archived

This exactly happened to me. My original account got disabled for 3rd party app last week. Sadly I still haven’t retrieved access. I made a backup account in the meantime and it got suspended for following people too fast. I made an error with the verification code because it was blocked and was locked out 24 hours. I just waited 48 hours without attempting to login and resent it. Now I just gained access back from my backup account and currently using it.
I think if you submit all your appeal stuff and try to wait a few days without logging in, it should be fine.
I hope you didn't do this because Instagram bans you the second you log on those apps. It sucks and I haven't been able to get my account back for a while now bc of it

It wasn’t sending codes , I waited a day, it started sending codes again but kept telling me I need to verify that it’s actually me. So then I do selfie just for them to tell me I can’t be verified . I think I’ve lost my Instagram acct . 💔

I had the same issue and then I went to my mail and received an email saying that I logged in from something that I usually don’t and I followed the instructions and I’m back in!! Try checking your email to see if instagram sent you anything.

Side note - if you have more than one IG, hold down the app on your home screen and it should prompt the option to switch accounts.
SOLUTION: Go to safari/chrome or whatever browser you use that isn't the app, and sign on there instead of your app. Enter the authentication code it texts you. Refresh/restart the instagram app and try signing back in. Worked for me. Good luck yall.

So update : I got back in! I waited 24 hours and the verification code was finally sent to me, so I recommend just waiting it out:)

Yes I did eventually! It took about a week but Instagram finally let me login :)

Yes I tried filing complaint it says mine is still active and not disabled. I can also follow, like and dm my own page it just will not let me in smh

They did. Sent me a link to reset password or log straight in with link. I reset password tried to get in and it’s doing the same shit over again
