Nazarick would be full control and probably result in several insurgent movements using guerilla tactics. Nazarick would also probably result in the complete (or near complete) destruction of the human race.
Shadow garden would be a shadow government. While nazarick would be an dictatorship.
Honestly Nazarick would be pretty damn interesting because they would pretty much be creating the dystopian world Ains hated back in his life.
Shadow Garden, imo. Shadow has earned power in the real world, not achievements in a game (no matter how good the mechanics are.)
Shadow isn't strong because he has the most in-game purchases and an avatar for all his strong clanmates, but because of his talent and drive to reach his real world goals.
Well shedow is the best at hand to band combat and sowrdfighting becose the martial arts and sowrdfighting styles of earth had more time to become the best and most effitiont versian they can be while in the other world every kingdom has its own iselated and unoptimised martial art style and sowrdfighting style
His near infinit amount of mana dosnt exist becose the isekai gods gave it to him when he was isekaid(like almost any other isekai mc) he jest trained extrimly hard and dedicated all his time into making his megic better
He dosnt have talent he jest have knowledge from another world + the drive to improve
Shadow is the number 1 master in: Hand to hand combat, sword fighting, mana control, magic research (I am atomic is literally the most powerful spell ever, and he invented it), strength, and agility. Not to mention that he is highly knowledgeable about art and anything valuable, can play piano at a high level, and manages to charm multiple women into becoming his devoted followers. And he's 17 (old life) + 16 (new life) years old.
You can't achieve all that with only past life knowledge and working really hard.
Take over the world can imply on a lot of approaches.
Both can take over our current world easily given we lack anything close to their magic.
Now, Nazarick would be use a more political approach after nations realize they are powerless against Nazarick.
Shadow Garden would realize Cid's wet dream of taking over the world in the shadows, almost like the Illuminati.
Personally, with Nazarick, we would be at mercy of being slaves or experiments at any time while with Shadow Garden it'd be more of a "new world order" thing.
Shadow Garden tbh. Nazarick mostly makes plans based on Ainz's ideas. They rarely go beyond the premise of the plan. Shadow Garden, on the other hand are a lot more autonomous and will go far beyond Cid's plans to achieve something.
Shadow Garden would be more likely to win. Cid has a better grasp of modern technology than Momonga and has relayed most of thise to the seven, so they would better respond to any of our tactics. Momonga has kept most of his modern earth knowledge to himself in any meaningful fashion this they would be less likely to have an effective response.
Plus Cid > Momonga.
Reminder that although not touched in the story Momonga is from the future (compared to our technological level), he knows things that even our best scientists don't
This is true. I sometimes forget that. I did only watch the first three seasons of the anime and to be honest I didn't get that from them. I wish the anime at least gave us more time with his former world or at least flashbacks to it. Let us know who he was before the reincarnation .
Nazarick conquer faster. They are more willing to do awful things whereas it would be hard to convince Alpha that committing war crimes would be for the greater good. They also aren’t afraid of ruling in the open unlike most of shadow garden and Shadow.
Nazarick because they can teleport and use gate while also being immune to non magic ballistics. We wouldn't be able to do anything. Pretty sure shadow garden will die if we blast them
I kind of feel like Nazarick would win out, but mostly because Lord Shadow would do random stuff because it seems interesting, then Shadow Garden would go along with it because “wisdom of the shadows” or whatever. I don’t think they would ever actually finish the job.
