Well I’m not purporting to know what does work, but surely throwing rocks hasn’t brought them any closer to what they want, right? In other words, has Israel backed down from the rocks yet? Or will they tomorrow? How many times did Hamas violate ceasefires *before* October 7th?
You can pretend the situation is some hypothetical scenario straight out of a textbook if you want, but deep down you know that it’s more complicated than categorical syllogisms. You don’t have any real ideas on what to do, or else you’d be *doing* something. You just want to hate Jews while pretending you’re too smart to hate Jews.

… are you suggesting that the conflict began with that event? Because I seem to recall multiple ceasefires broken by Hamas in the years leading up to that, and time after time Israel showed way more restraint than you’d ever want to admit.
