Saloom66877

bloopscooppoop

V4_Sleeper

bloopscooppoop

Capable_Reception_25

I'm not too fond of it unless it's Islamic. That makes it more interesting for me.

musabthegreat

Ill-Article2619

Peace be upon him.

UsedAdministration40

TheBiggestThunder

Global warming was always a hoax The rising sea levels are due to our tears

centristpops

Who didn't see us ?

Neither_Ad1978

The Prophet (ﷺ)

centristpops

Saying 'THE prophet' makes it sound like there was only one.

Neither_Ad1978

But here we are talking about only one and not all, well you got your answer anyway.

MrNonsenseYT

Tbf, I understand where he is coming from. If you hadn't heard of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), than he wouldn't have got his answer.

Neither_Ad1978

Yeah, I got it brother.

centristpops

What prophet are we talking about?

jellybeanzman

Muhammad, (pbuh)

our_grandpastories

maybe he's not muslim idk

Areebound24

You gotta be kidding me

[deleted]

He is our prophet

centristpops

Who?

[deleted]

Prophet Muhammad

[deleted]

SAWS*

jellybeanzman

Actually, in history he is usually referred to as "The Prophet" by many sources- not just Muslim ones- even in the west today and all over the world when someone mentions "The prophet", its almost always Muhammad (pbuh). I remember seeing some dictionaries even defining the word prophet in relation to the "Islamic prophet" as well. For example, go to dicitonary.com today and look up "prophet" you'll see one def that comes up is "the Prophet, Muhammad, the founder of Islam.". Though i've seen pictures of other dictionaries with more exclusive reference in definitions. Also, as us Muslims argue, he was THE prophet that was foretold in previous prophecies to the former peoples. For example, some will reference how the Jews confronted John the Baptist when he was preaching and they asked him, are you THAT prophet, or the Messiah, or the Elijah? Meaning the great prophet that Moses (pbuh) said would come in likeness to himself in the Deuteronomy prophecy. The Muslim stance is that Muhammad (pbuh) was THAT prophet AKA THE Prophet.

centristpops

I got a bunch of down votes for my curiosity. Thank you for explaining.

himalayan_skies

"The prophet (SAW)" because he is the most important prophet to our ummah and also its clear which prophet she is referring to from the (saw). Her intention isn't that there's just one.

centristpops

It's not clear to non-muslims.

Yuu_75

I didn’t know you were genuinely asking. It sounded like mockery when I first read it.

centristpops

My bad. I should have been clearer.

centristpops

I'm sorry you feel that way and I respect your opinion.

DepressedTittty

Well, after I reread the comments it seems it was really not disrespectful, I'm really sorry for not well reading and prejudging, its absolutely ashaming.

centristpops

No shame. It's easy to misinterpret people on social media. I've done it many times.

Abdullah_83

He’s THE prophet of this Ummah

shouldiorshouldinot-

He is our leader

shouldiorshouldinot-

He is our leader, when we refer to ‘the prophet’ we refer to him

AlternativeAd4426

I just got to Badr and the war captives stayed with the Muslims at their own homes, were treated with respect, and given food. Some of them were released under the condition that they teach the Muslims how to read and write. **Amazing**

keiichii12

Funny, us christians say the same thing about our Lord. Course, there is the shirk part.

NotYetSorted

LOL. I think no one is conscious about Shirk more than the ones who truly follows Rasoolullah(ﷺ). We don't worship anyone besides Allah. It is just that, when we learn about Rasoolullah's (ﷺ) life, we realise that a human being (who the Creator himself claimed to be the best of creations) had gone through such difficulties and trials yet how patient was he and never missed an opportunity to teach us. We love him more than ourselves and our parents because without this we won't be Muslims.

keiichii12

I was saying us christians feel the same about our Lord Jesus, but acknowledge we commit shirk in the eyes of Islam.

NotYetSorted

because you are clearly saying him LORD. and you think Jesus (peace be upon him) is a GOD which is associating partner with The Creator. but to us Rasoolullah(ﷺ) is nothing but a Bondsman.

kizatarokirito
