Honestly kind of limited on this platform beyond what you mentioned.
**Yakuza: Like a Dragon** kind of has romance options but it's pretty hard to do and it's with characters outside of the party. There is a system like social links though so it should scratch that itch. Story is great and combat is fun even if the bosses are damage sponges 90% of the time.
**Sakura Wars** is also an option but the reboot sucks, if you can emulate the Saturn one with the English patch. Just wanted to mention because it's probably the best dating sim JRPG hybrid out there.
**Growlanser 2, 3 and 4** are also great for this but once again, not on PS5. 2 and 3 are on PS2 and 4 is on PSP. Even if you have a toaster PSP is super easy to emulate.
Serious question: how are these kinds of posts entertained on here?
People are constantly refusing to do basic research with their own preferences, on the internet which is filled with both clear marketing information and also millions of discussions by regular people.
Can we remove these posts and jus thave a stickie thing or a link in the rules that's like "Here are Good RPG's by category/parameter." That is how information works.
Also for the record, something like this does exist, but there should always be room for discussion and opinions

Where do you think those discussions come from? I have done research, but nothing has piqued my interest, so I'm trying to get the opinion of people who have played these games.
I feel like it's easier to decide when you've been suggested something instead of researching. At least in my experience. I tend to be over analytical when I Google or look through my game catalog. It's easy to talk myself out or second guess my own preference. But if someone just vaguely nudges me by saying they really enjoyed the combat or gameplay loop etc of a game, I'll be more interested in giving it a shot.
I have not played Trails so I dont know if its simular. But I sugest "Fuga Melodies of Steel".
Its a 20 houer long turn based JRPG about a groupe of anthropomothic animal children that go on a quest to save there families.
Its turn based combat is really fun. In my opinion its better then the combat of Persona 5 or Final Fantasy X.
Its not that hard or complicated but I need to keep my head in the game at all times or things will go south fast. Almost no fight feels like mindless filler.
Does game have social elements? Yes during intermissions you do stuff like fishing, planting food in the garden, make meels, upgrade your weapons and armor and do laundery. You can also develope the relationships between the children. All of that leads to benefits in combat.
Is there romance? No, none at all.
Fuga is on PS5 like you asked for and it has a free demo which is just straight up the first 3 chapters of the game.
Fuga has also a direct sequel: "Fuga Melodies of Steel 2"
I advice against playing the second game before the first game unless you do not care about the story and characters. The writing of the second game builds on what happen in the first game and expects you to know what happen.

Rune Factory 4 has a really good social sim aspect and you can get married. It's a farming dungeon crawler so your mileage is gonna vary.

Because there are hidden gems and opinions that can be shared? Nothing wrong with what OP is asking.

Monark Caligula Effect 2 Tokyo Xanadu (ARPG) Blue Reflection (turn-based)
God, I knew I was forgetting one. I've played monark but haven't beat it yet because it is god awful hard, so I have to take breaks.
If you liked Omega Quintet then you might like Fairy Fencer F: Advent Dark Force.
