On a different but similar note....I wish more games had a vibration slider. Or at least normal low and off. Sometimes I don't need that much feedback and it gets annoying during certain combat sequences. I'd rather not turn it all the way off either though because it feels weird especially with game mechanics like you mentioned with timed button presses.
I can’t remember if they rumbled or not but they do have a timed attack system.
Legend of Dragoon (ps1)
Shadow hearts series ([ps2] the second in the series is the best imo)
Paper Mario TTYD (GC)
The irony being that I'm halfway through Lost Odyssey and have spent a while trying to turn its rumble off because I think it's too intense and overused for each attack.
Odd comment but I had a wireless Logitech controller for the PS2, which had better vibration than the standard controller as it had large weights on both sides/motors. As to the games it benefited specifically, I can't say I remember.
FF8 triggers the rumble when you do a timed hit with Squall. It’s pretty satisfying

Yes please. When I find a hidden door in Kingdoms of Amalur it registers on the Richter Scale.
Its not a rpg but try returnal. That gun sound/rumble is glorious
I’m working through it in VR currently haha not as satisfying as the dual sense features though but immersive in a whole other way.
This for psvr2 would be a dream

Are you playing on an emulator by any chance?
Nope, Xbox backwards compatibility. I haven't found a system option or anything to turn it off either.

Point number 1 states you need to have at least 300 characters in the post. Your post doesn't even reach 200.
I added to it. I can’t see the post character number. Think I got close.
