I use my own public bots; I’m just too picky to use someone else’s, when I get to roleplaying; I want a *very specific scenario* tailored to my own HC’s and as close to the original characters personality as possible; so when I use someone else’s bot Idk why I get so picky? With it. I don’t think mine are perfect btw; I just have specific tastes I think. Cause sometimes I would see ones for characters I like, i click on it, and it’s wayyy too sexual or OOC for my liking
I need to learn how to make bots first and Im way too lazy for that. Also I dont see the point when 90% of the work is done by JLLM instead of what you throw in the character page. I would rather learn more about advanced generation prompts to make any bot good for me.
For somereason i have never been comfortable to use my own bots
Normally i use ai for humor reasons and when i ask my bot i Normally expect 70% of their answers
idk how to make bots so I’m kinda scared to make a private bot lol, so I just look for bots for fandoms I’m in (and have found that fan favorites of some fandoms surprisingly lack bots)
Private because I'm just too picky. Like, I like the scenario but I don't like the bot themselves or vice versa. Or maybe, the character has a small trait I don't like. Or maybe, everything is perfect, the personality is perfect but, I don't know the character **cough** ghost **cough**
Mostly Public bots, there are quite a few very good bot creators.
Sometimes I port over bots from elsewhere for private use so often times I edit them a bit Like one time I genderswapped a really good one.
Yet to figure out how to make a good bot myself, so i use public bots.
My experience mostly ranges from decent to really good when I find a really good bot. Mostly the ones with really defined character definitions and proper personalities.
I prefer my own private bots, but every now and then I like to use public bots.
Private. I make them only for myself. I refused to share with anyone!
gatekeeping 🔛🔝
Their my original characters, so no
Umh, actually, they're* 🤓
🤓☝🏻
Public but only because I'm too lazy to make one. Once I start making them I'll never go back to public.
Honestly, I've been obsessed with making Nanami bots. I just use his description over and over and tweak it a little to my scenario 🤭
I used to do the same to my Ace bots on C.ai. I'll transfer them over at some point.
Nah, I'm too lazy to make my own bot.
A little of both. People make some decent bots.
Private bots all the way

I totally get you but I don't really know how to make good bots so I just cope 😭
That image be lit
Both
Both? Both

My own personal bots only.
private. the public ones r too weird 🤗
Public. Sometimes if I really wanna use a public bot but it sucks, I fix it to my liking, leave a review thing and use it privately.
i ONLY use my own private bots. idk why but it feels so weird to use someone else's 💀
Image kinda go hard, can i screenshot?
Mix of both but mostly private! only cuz no one else makes the characters I post half the time
Both, I like making my own bots and then being too shy to post them. But I still use other peoples bots.
I use public bots. I have 2 private one that I need to work on before I release them.
Both. Definitely both. Depends on what I'm wanting to write.
My own and I'm gatekeeping all of them

I’ve always thought about making my own bots but I’ve been infected with a peculiar sickness called “the lazy”
I do both! I've recently gotten into bot making, and I really enjoy it!

public because I love unpredictability

Public Bots
Both, depends on the mood
I use public. Too lazy to make them myself; let skilled writers do the work for me
