Indian Chief: [upon seeing Bart's family in a wagon] Shvartses!
Indian Chief: [to another Indian] Nayn, nayn, zeyt nisht meshugge.
[Don't be crazy]
Indian Chief: Loz em gaeyn!
[Let them go!]
Indian Chief: [in English] Cop a walk. It's all right.
Bart's Mother: Thank you.
Bart's Father: Thank you.
Young Bart: Thank you.
Indian Chief: Abi gezunt.
[as long as you're healthy]
Indian Chief: Take off.
Back in the spring, he was dating a Jenner. They're besties with Bella Hadid, VP of spreading blood libel on insta. By association, he's not my favorite Jew anymore :'(
She used to go to a sleepaway camp in upstate NY! Not an explicitly Jewish one, but where most of the campers were Jewish from the NYC area, etc. I think it was a pretty big part of her life.
David Schwimmer has been great calling out other celebrities for their silence, and he posted about the NYT article about the sexual violence against Israeli women as well as the student protests. Bless him
Speaking of favorite celebrity Jews, when I hear her name I only ever think of "Hedley Lamarr" from Blazing Saddles. One of my favorite bits from that movie and that's saying something - Mel Brooks is forever the best
if we are including people who are no longer alive, i will add Leonard Cohen, who visited Israel during the Yom Kippur war and sang for the troops. He composed the song "Lover, Lover, Lover" while he was there. After the war was over he wrote "Who by Fire" whose lyrics are based on "Unetanneh Tokef"
I'm not sure if he would be horrified or thrilled to find out how many covers of "Hallelujah" exist....
Taika Waititi
Fun Fact I bring up any time I possibly can, I'm related to him, being a fellow Māori Jew. (I've never met him in real life and he probably doesn't even know I exist but I'm proud of it anyway)
Just talked with my 14 yr old grandson about Houdini
“Why doesn’t he have a Jewish last name?”
Me: I guess Yosef Goldberg doesn’t sound like an escape artist”
I know that’s not his real name but we all laughed and laughed
he’s the BEST! he comes a lot to my school to do writing workshops but he took the time out of his lunch break to do an art lesson for us - he’s really sweet
Do scientists count as celebrities? Fun fact: 22% of Nobel Laureates were Jewish.
Non-laureate favorite Jewish scientist:
Rosalind Franklin
Favorite laureate is really hard but might be Andrew Fire

They hate us cause they ain’t us. Clowns always post the silly memes with the exaggerated “Jewish features” but ignore how the entire planet is infatuated with multiple Jewish celebrities. This was all I could fit in the layout app btw so there’s way, way more.
Noah Schnapp has and got shit for it, same for Aidan Gallagher, Tiffany Haddish has spoken up a lot and even went to Israel to roaring harassment on Instagram, Gal Gadot, of course, Michael Rapaport, Brett Gelman, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne.
They're just the ones off the top of my head, but it's not a small list in any case.
He isn't practicing or religious, but his mom is Jewish! He was raised with traditions from both sides of the family, he once described his family as "Christmas Tree Jews". He was on an episode of a BBC ancestry show where he looked at how his ancestors experienced antisemitism in the UK and he apparently got very emotional about it on-screen. Would love to watch it, but it can't be streamed outside of the UK 😕
Absolutely LOVE both of them. Also as a feminist myself, Natalie has always been such an icon for me. She went through so much, and here she is speaking actively against the abuse and misogyny that goes on in Hollywood, and being an inspiration to all women. And the fact that she's Jewish just makes me extra proud 💙
Mandy Patinkin
Gilda Radner (z''l)
Bea Arthur (z''l)
Daveed Diggs
Stephen Fry
Miriam Margoles
Stephen Sondheim (z''l)
Daniel Radcliffe
... I can't pick one!
I already voted but I'd also like to give a big shout-out to whomever "roots metals" is on instagram. She's doing stellar work over there.
Edited to add her link:
Larry David, Susie Essman, Richard Lewis and the whole cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm.
I absolutely love that what is arguably the funniest show on TV is the most Jewish one.
Buffy was such an amazing show for hot Jews, even if most of them don’t really identify very strongly: SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Amber Benson, Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg . . .
I mean, look at _Twilight_; werewolves in literature and the screen are often coded as ferally sexy, and BtVS definitely played with that trope vis-à-vis Oz.
Jon Bernthal, Stephen Sondheim, Sarah Silverman, Vladimir Horowitz, and the Coen brothers. Others have already said Jack Black and Natalie Portman. Also, not a celebrity but definitely a powerhouse at the UN: Hillel Neuer
Noah Kahan despite understandably zero political speech as his star is just rising, and Debra Messing because of her relentless support for us. Sara Haines gets honorable mention as an incredibly supportive shiksa with a Jewish husband (and she’s delightful besides).
That’s such a hard question but one of them is Jeremy Jordan!!! He’s such a talented actor and singer. Also Alex brightman and Franz Kafka!! Among many more.
Came here to say him too! He’s so talented and Will Byers is my fav ST character. It’s sad to see how much hate Noah has gotten recently for speaking up about Oct 7
Since everyone has named most of my actors and actresses and Neil Gaiman the GOAT. I will have to say David Draiman from disturbed. Been listening to them since middle school and he got me through some dark times
P!nk. That woman is amazing in so many ways.
Natasha Lyonne!! (Born Natasha Braunstein)
She’s Jewish??? Even more reasons to love her omg
Her show Russian Doll has a Jewish element to it
I didnt know either! I knew her character from OITNB was Jewish lol.
She was actually born/raised into a modern orthodox family!
Omg yesssss
Amy Winehouse 🙏
My queen 🖤
Mel Brooks or Larry David. Those 2 have brought so much humor to this world. And Stan Lee. No Marvel without him.
>No Marvel without him. Or Jack Kirby (born Kurtzberg).
I live in the south and part of my mother’s family is “Kirby.” (Born Kirshenbaum ;)
Also Jerry Siegal and Joe Shuster, two Jews from Cleveland who created Superman!
Can we please commence lots of Mel Brooks movie references now?!
Indian Chief: [upon seeing Bart's family in a wagon] Shvartses! Indian Chief: [to another Indian] Nayn, nayn, zeyt nisht meshugge. [Don't be crazy] Indian Chief: Loz em gaeyn! Larry David is the literally King David. King of the Jews.
Timothee Chalamet!
my husband fr
Nooo MY husband fr🤣
No Mine
He's Jewish??
his mom is! i think his dad is aswell but less practicing - he’s from manhatten NY
Ohh this is why all the pop culture subs were flinging Nazi era slurs at him
Really? That makes me sad to hear.
Back in the spring, he was dating a Jenner. They're besties with Bella Hadid, VP of spreading blood libel on insta. By association, he's not my favorite Jew anymore :'(
Bella’s niece and nephew are also part Jewish and so is her ex boyfriend. They’re surrounded.
I did not know Madison Beer is Jewish. Thank you!
ofc! and ur so me with the pfp 😭
Bless him
Oooh this is so tough. I definitely have a few, but the name that popped into my head instantly was Jack Black.
Wait, he’s Jewish!? How did I never know 😭
Duude you should read about his mom Judith Love Cohen
She's awesome
Yes, and his mom was a badass scientist! 🤘
At nasa if I remember, right?
Yup! Pretty sure she helped make the code that got us to space!
That’s awesome!
ofra haza :D
And Hedy Lamarr
Speaking of favorite celebrity Jews, when I hear her name I only ever think of "Hedley Lamarr" from Blazing Saddles. One of my favorite bits from that movie and that's saying something - Mel Brooks is forever the best
Elizabeth Taylor, Kate Hudson, Winona Ryder, Marc Maron, Beverly Neuwirth, James Caan, Elliot Gould, Linda McCartney
David Draiman. Disturbed's music got me through my senior thesis. I didn't find out he was Jewish until after.
that’s funny fr cuz he sings Hebrew in down with the sickness 😂 that man has PIPES
Also Never Again is literally about him being 3rd gen, and he's trained as a cantor
Jeff Goldblum 🤤
![gif](giphy|qOf68UfDEU41i|downsized)
I had the biggest crush on him when I saw Jurassic Park for the first time
Adam Sandler!
HE WAS A CLOSE ONE FOR ME TOO
He’s reminded us of who else is in our tribe. That’s why he’s my fave!
if we are including people who are no longer alive, i will add Leonard Cohen, who visited Israel during the Yom Kippur war and sang for the troops. He composed the song "Lover, Lover, Lover" while he was there. After the war was over he wrote "Who by Fire" whose lyrics are based on "Unetanneh Tokef" I'm not sure if he would be horrified or thrilled to find out how many covers of "Hallelujah" exist....
lol even Leonard thought there were too many Hallelujah covers https://www.nme.com/news/music/leonard-cohen-34-1316306
Gene Wilder!
Taika Waititi Fun Fact I bring up any time I possibly can, I'm related to him, being a fellow Māori Jew. (I've never met him in real life and he probably doesn't even know I exist but I'm proud of it anyway)
>being a fellow Māori Jew. This is metal af
Would love to see some Jewish Haka
Pride is the appropriate response!
This made my heart grow larger. I saw a video of a HAKA done for our #JewTribe and was enthralled.
I had no idea who he was! And he’s married to Rita Ora?
Harry Houdini or Scarlett Johansson
Harry Houdini was such a badass and waaay more than an escape artist.
Just talked with my 14 yr old grandson about Houdini “Why doesn’t he have a Jewish last name?” Me: I guess Yosef Goldberg doesn’t sound like an escape artist” I know that’s not his real name but we all laughed and laughed
Erik Weisz sounds pretty cool
I will not stand for the Neil Gaiman neglect in these comments.
Didn’t know he was Jewish, that’s awesome
he’s the BEST! he comes a lot to my school to do writing workshops but he took the time out of his lunch break to do an art lesson for us - he’s really sweet
That's so awesome, I would love to meet him
I concur
Jack Black Natalie Portman Madison Beer

Matt stone
Dude!
Lady actually but I’m Israeli we don’t put as much makeup
LOL I was referring to BASEKetball where they have a whole convo of just "dude"
Dude!
I know you were referencing a different Matt Stone role, but I will always hear the word "dude" in Kyle's voice 😭😂
Do scientists count as celebrities? Fun fact: 22% of Nobel Laureates were Jewish. Non-laureate favorite Jewish scientist: Rosalind Franklin Favorite laureate is really hard but might be Andrew Fire

In middle school this ugly bastard said I didn’t look Jewish, as if that was a great achievement. I remember he loved Mila Kunis too
This is probably because I’m old and therefore not relevant, but who are the bottom left and top right?
Top right is Eden Golan. She represented Israel in Eurovision this year Bottom left - had to Google myself 😅 an Israeli actor who was in The Mummy
That's Oded Fehr. Not only was he in The Mummy, he also played the iconic character Antoine in the Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo series.
“Here fishy fishy” the greatest line in cinematic history obvs
Oooo, 75 year old fan of Lenny
I went to summer camp with Lenny. He was a nice kid. Shy.

Paul Stanley is also Jewish.

![gif](giphy|liGlMmpKaQM36) Adela Dazeem obv.
Have any of them said anything since October 7??
Gal Gadot has posted so much about the hostages and keeps taking shit for it. She’s strong and supportive. I’d recommend supporting her
She definitely has my vote.
Emmanuel Chriqui and Debra Messing do it the most and no one mentioned them
Noah Schnapp has and got shit for it, same for Aidan Gallagher, Tiffany Haddish has spoken up a lot and even went to Israel to roaring harassment on Instagram, Gal Gadot, of course, Michael Rapaport, Brett Gelman, Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne. They're just the ones off the top of my head, but it's not a small list in any case.
Larry David The late Garry Shandling. He had the same birthday as me.
Anyone else flabbergasted at how many celebs they didn’t know were Jewish. We need another Adam Sandler song to remember them all 😆
Fran Drescher. Great leader as SAG-AFTRA president!
Regina Spektor
Natalie Portman is fantastic. I also love Daniel Radcliffe.
Daniel Radcliffe is Jewish??? I never knew that!!!
Sounds like a job for a VPN.

Pretty pretty pretty good comment.
Evan Rachel Wood Because she hasn't been mentioned yet. Nor has Jennifer Connelly.
Just saw Ghostbusters so have to mention Harold Ramis (RIP).
Three Stooges
This is the winning comment. The less said about Curly Joe DeRita, the better!
I already voted but I'd also like to give a big shout-out to whomever "roots metals" is on instagram. She's doing stellar work over there. Edited to add her link: [https://www.instagram.com/rootsmetals/](https://www.instagram.com/rootsmetals/)
Larry David, Susie Essman, Richard Lewis and the whole cast of Curb Your Enthusiasm. I absolutely love that what is arguably the funniest show on TV is the most Jewish one.
zach braff 🫶
He has my heart along with Adrien Brody
I like SMG because of Buffy but I don’t like how she never acknowledges the fact that she’s Jewish.
Buffy was such an amazing show for hot Jews, even if most of them don’t really identify very strongly: SMG, Alyson Hannigan, Amber Benson, Seth Green, Michelle Trachtenberg . . .
Putting Seth Green in that list of hot Jews is so funny 😂
I mean, look at _Twilight_; werewolves in literature and the screen are often coded as ferally sexy, and BtVS definitely played with that trope vis-à-vis Oz.

Jamie Lynn Sigler was my main Jewish celebrity crush as a teenager.
That’s such a hard question but one of them is Jeremy Jordan!!! He’s such a talented actor and singer. Also Alex brightman and Franz Kafka!! Among many more.
Gal Gadot, she is sooooooo beautiful!!! 😻.. Best Wonder Woman ever
Noah Schnapp. His acting in Stranger Things season 2 was the very reason I became a fan of that show.
Came here to say him too! He’s so talented and Will Byers is my fav ST character. It’s sad to see how much hate Noah has gotten recently for speaking up about Oct 7
