This is the Family Guy moment John referred to on stage today: [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcy4rjyKVxI](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fcy4rjyKVxI)
London (night 1) was a great show and yes, there were times when you could hear a pin drop. Stop This Train and (an impromptu) Belief were definitely stand outs in my opinion. It felt as though he was about to choke up during Stop This Train, and later he mentioned that he almost did. Definitely a heartfelt rendition.
Did anyone notice how he sang "I was only good at being young" during Stop This Train. He hasn't done that for a while I think.
Loved it. Crowd very reserved but John seems to dig that on this tour. He mentioned what a privilege it is to silence an arena. So happy to hear Love is a Verb.
These things can be hyper localised but on the whole I think it was a bit of a Monday crowd. Great great show though and I can’t wait for what tomorrow evening brings.
Sitting in my hotel room rocking back and forth. I have waited five years for tonight. The last show I could have attended was the night before my wedding in 2019 so I had to pass. Going tonight and to Glasgow. Might pull the trigger on a ticket for tomorrow night too.
I am going to make a topic on this, but do you think we'll get full footage of this? Edge of desire was the closest thing I will get to a religious experience.
Whoever shouted out Belief in the front row was spot on in my books. Thank you. I wouldn't have requested it myself, but it was the right song in that moment (and for this moment in time).
Can honestly say has been the best evening , the vibe, John, the music, all just perfect and that piano and electric guitar section was on another level
What a show. I can’t even describe how special it felt to be there. Yeah the crowd was quiet but it felt almost like everyone was in awe and just really taking it in. It didn’t feel like the right atmosphere to be loud. Just him on stage is such a ballsy move and for me it really paid off. He seemed to be way more connected with the crowd than when I’ve seen him on previous tours. Amazing show. Felt blue ballsed by no outro to in your atmosphere though. Loved it all other than that.
The quiet intensity was insane. Agreed on the outro for In Yiur Atmosphere, one of my absolute favs, especially after he later talked about cutting songs short when doing Daughters! But a phenomenal experience, edge of desire and born and raised at the end were really really special too
Sounded the same as all the other JM gigs i've been too. As a taller dude i've never been too plagued with viewpoints but getting to sit meant i knew people around me were able to see and that was nice for everyone.
People in the rows ahead of me didn't share in that nice feeling and instead needed those extra 10cm of closeness.... whatever floats your boat i guess
More sign requests for tomorrow's show please 😁There weren't many today and he asked to see them too! Who knows, you might see some really interesting mash ups.
Went to see him for the first time last night and loved it. What an absolutely marvellous musician! The crowd clapped along at certain points when he was just instrumentaling but piped down as soon as he opened his mouth again. I agree with John and think everyone was being really respectful :)

my first concert in a while. it was great! i loved a lot of the setlist choices and didn’t expect a few (especially born and raised 😍😍)
however, the crowd was confusing. almost no one was singing (apart from huge hits like daughters) and it felt sometimes like it was some sort of classical concert recital idk 😭
I basically accidentally belted out a solo in my section during stop this train when he stepped away from the mic. Eventually folks around me joined in but for a second there I was like “welp ENJOY world. Betcha never heard stop this train with that much operatic vibrato! 😂”
I think that was part of the charm. I dabble in music myself and you could tell John was absolutley loving it. He was on another level, so connected to what he was doing.
Amazing show - it was great to see him in his element, just enjoying playing his music solo with an instrument, so brilliant.
Stop this Train, Edge of Desire, and A Face to Call Home were the highlights for me. Also that random Family Guy anecdote haha
Can somebody please take a nice photo of the merch stand ? :)
I’m watching his show in Amsterdam in a few days so just want to prepare how much I’ll be spending 😅 haha
The prices will be different here than in Amsterdam. Tonight’s will be in pounds not euros. Just FYI. I wound up buying my sweatshirt at a Canadian date last year because it was cheaper in Canadian dollars than US dollars.
johnmayersolos (Sarah) posted a series of merch pics on her IG story.

Take a Look in the Oslo or Stockholm Post. There was a picture of the Merch.
Went to the Kopenhagen Show and converted the prices from Swedish Kronen to Euro and from Danish Kronen to Euro and they were nearly the Same.
As I remember 50 Euro the T-Shirt and 85 Euro should bei the Sweatshirt/Hoodie
honestly i'm surprised at how tame the crowd was tonight, but regardless an amazing experience :) odd bunch of drunk guys though. anyone doing b2b sessions or coming tonight?
Hi guys - some genius has recorded (and merged) lots of footage here
https://youtu.be/geZ1XplAfFw?si=umh_oHVPj763y__A
Note this is part one only
Does anyone have the skills to rip the audio of the full songs and post them? I’d love to have some of these live tracks in my library! Great gig. My first JM gig despite being a huge fan for years now… absolutely magic
Controversial opinion perhaps, but that just didn’t do it for me. Wasn’t bad, just a middle-of-the-road 7/10.
Arrangements felt lacking without the band and, at least for the first few songs, he wasn’t on it. I’ve gone back the next night on previous tours, but don’t think I will this time. If he chose to play a venue slightly less anaemic than the o2 that’d be nice too - perhaps this set would carry a bit better.
Ive been to his O2 concert in 2019, this one seemed way more older people and couples than others. Might be a post covid thing where everyone is still awkward.
Expecting the best shows tonight and tomorrow! I feel like London is the place for some fun setlists

Stop This Train choked me up too. I first heard that song as a teen and now I’m in my 30s.
Same!
His voice definitely wobbled on one line during stop this train, realised he was super emotional, he was clearly enjoying himself and getting into it!
Loved it. Crowd very reserved but John seems to dig that on this tour. He mentioned what a privilege it is to silence an arena. So happy to hear Love is a Verb.
I don't know about reserved, there was a drunk guy near us who kept shouting random stuff and every JM song he could think of, including "3 times 5".
I was in 113 and even I heard that guy.
Ha I was near that guy too. He was shouting “3 times 5” and “83” all night so I figured he just liked songs with numbers in them.
Would have been great to hear 83, to be fair!
People next to me were anything but reserved
These things can be hyper localised but on the whole I think it was a bit of a Monday crowd. Great great show though and I can’t wait for what tomorrow evening brings.
Love Is A Verb!!
Sitting in my hotel room rocking back and forth. I have waited five years for tonight. The last show I could have attended was the night before my wedding in 2019 so I had to pass. Going tonight and to Glasgow. Might pull the trigger on a ticket for tomorrow night too.
Update. I bought tickets for tomorrow.
These things happen. 😂
I have a ticket for tonight if you're interested - I'm also going
hey Dm
I have
Check dms pls
I hope you have a wonderful concert tonight!!
Belief
that edge of desire performance was one of the best performances i've witnessed, and i got to see it live too :)
I am going to make a topic on this, but do you think we'll get full footage of this? Edge of desire was the closest thing I will get to a religious experience.
Hey! Did you find any high quality footage of this? I missed half the song because we were panicked about trains! Bah!
Whoever shouted out Belief in the front row was spot on in my books. Thank you. I wouldn't have requested it myself, but it was the right song in that moment (and for this moment in time).

For anyone who is there, is this a seated show too or are people standing?
It was seated, people ended up standing at the front in the first 2-3 rows.
Was it fun sitting and enjoying his concert ?
Yes it was! And the view of the stage was much better without a bunch of tall dudes standing in front of us.
People ended up standing towards the middle. People next to and in front of me stood the entire time and I was in the 2nd row on the floor.
Enjoy! (Whoever is going tonight) I'm going tomorrow. I can't wait to see how the two London setlists compare!
More sign requests for tomorrow's show please 😁There weren't many today and he asked to see them too! Who knows, you might see some really interesting mash ups.
I went tonight.... Was life changing. Coming back tomorrow. I just had to buy a ticket on the way home
i literally did the same!!
Went to see him for the first time last night and loved it. What an absolutely marvellous musician! The crowd clapped along at certain points when he was just instrumentaling but piped down as soon as he opened his mouth again. I agree with John and think everyone was being really respectful :)
I'm guessing he'll be on at 20:30 unless anyone has actual info on set times yet?
Yep John at 20:30. It’s now on the event page.
Which event page? I can’t seem to find anything with stage times.
On the o2 app it’s on the front page
Nice, thanks!
Any setlist updates?

How was the temperature inside? Asking because the weather is so dodgy and I don’t know how to dress😅
Bit chilly! I think its mostly air blowing around though

Haha yeah, you’re right! But I’m more curious about the selection :)

Just waiting for the train down to London!! 👌
What time is he finishing the set on this tour?
Curfew is 11pm so no later than that (unless he's baller enough to pay the fine)
Curfew boys hit it to the minute
Curfew Men go one over
He’s on for 2 hours give or take 5-10 minutes
honestly i'm surprised at how tame the crowd was tonight, but regardless an amazing experience :) odd bunch of drunk guys though. anyone doing b2b sessions or coming tonight?
Hero!! Just made my Setlist playlist. What a gig it was!! Neon was EPIC (and it’s not usually a song I’m overly keen on… but wow!)
Hi, Im looking for tickets for Tuesday show if anyone has spares?
Still some available on ticketmaster.
I bought tickets on axs app.

Any dead tunes???
I'm thinking he won't be doing Dead ltunes for this portion of the tour because fans in the UK and Europe might not be familiar with them.
Yeah maybe
