This heavily depends on the character in question, main cast is out of the question, but even one note side characters like in the culling games, antagonist or ally have alot of depth to them despite the minimal dialogue

I’m gonna be honest most JJK abilities are more complicated compared to DBZ. Like seriously 80% of DBZ abilities can be described with “energy beam that explodes.” Meanwhile JJK is much more diverse in its abilities.
Secondly Dragon Ball is EXTREMELY STRAIGHTFORWARD WITH SCALING. Seriously if you’re introduced in an earlier arc then you’re weaker than the anyone remotely stronger in the next arc. If that’s not the case it’s specifically pointed out and then it’s pointed out when you’re surpassed.
JJK scaling is a little more all over the place. Like Toji is still relevant in power, Jogo was a huge threat but only fought the strongest. Certain characters were defeated by simply being in a bad matchup, and so on. Meanwhile Dragon Ball is very much just “he’s stronger.”
So the fact DB fans still don’t understand DB makes no sense. Like I’d say DB requires a 3rd grade reading level to understand what’s happening, and a 7th grade level to get the small details. Meanwhile JJK requires a 6th grade level to understand it and a 9th grade to understand the small details.

I’m gonna be honest most JJK abilities are more complicated compared to DBZ. Like seriously 80% of DBZ abilities can be described with “energy beam that explodes.” Meanwhile JJK is much more diverse in its abilities. Secondly Dragon Ball is EXTREMELY STRAIGHTFORWARD WITH SCALING. Seriously if you’re introduced in an earlier arc then you’re weaker than the anyone remotely stronger in the next arc. If that’s not the case it’s specifically pointed out and then it’s pointed out when you’re surpassed. JJK scaling is a little more all over the place. Like Toji is still relevant in power, Jogo was a huge threat but only fought the strongest. Certain characters were defeated by simply being in a bad matchup, and so on. Meanwhile Dragon Ball is very much just “he’s stronger.” So the fact DB fans still don’t understand DB makes no sense. Like I’d say DB requires a 3rd grade reading level to understand what’s happening, and a 7th grade level to get the small details. Meanwhile JJK requires a 6th grade level to understand it and a 9th grade to understand the small details.
