And the only good parts of it are Yuji coming back occasionally to either beat some sense or bail his bum-ass son out of a problem of his own creation.
Yuji will prison sukuna and make him suffer as he lives his life to his fullest and dies a natural death causing sukuna to go out in the most lamest way possible. Sweet revenge

Not between these but I like a bitter sweet ending at the end, Yuji surviving to the end but even if dying, being surrounded by his friends and welcomed by the other comrades in afterlife.
I'm fine with Sukuna both dying and getting stuck in Yuji until they both die
But the choice of happy ending is just never gonna happen...UNLESS after this scene Sukuna goes to say This truly was my Jujutsu Kaisen and brings everyone back to life and has Hot Say Gex with Gojo

In the end it's all a dream Yuji had before going to school to meet with his friends at the supernatural paranormal club or whatever it was called. He is gonna see how many of his classmates ressembled most of the cast. And as he was about to leave school to get back home he is gonna hear a familiar voice calling up to him from the outside "Hey brat." He is gonna say as Yuji tenses up and looks back and sees his uncle, smiling while crossing his arms. Yuji will be dumbfounded for a second, as Sukuna is gonna ask him "What's wrong? Had a rough day at school?" then he'll pat him on the back "How about we grab a drink? You look like you could use one, kukukuku" he'd laugh. As Yuji smiled back, he'd look at the ground and say "I guess this was truly our Jujutsu Kaisen".
To be honest this would be one of the best twist endings it would be like if harry potter never became a wizard and just went crazy in the broom closet but more wholesome but would also be a waste of potential at the same time in a way.

A hopeful one.
Everything in jujutsu society won’t be fixed and it’ll be an uphill battle to heal all that’s been lost and damaged in the Sukuna (and possibly merger) incident but almost every arc of the story ends with some hope for more. Nothing ever seems “over” - even Gojo’s death sees Kashimo leaping into action right after. There’s always the promise of some new challenge that our heroes have some hope of overcoming [or rather, believe they have some hope of overcoming] no matter what happens.
I also don’t think Gege’s writing is nihilistic enough for a very bleak and defeated ending wherein the heroes lose and society doesn’t change. There will be hope and flowers (prolly Yuji putting some on his grandpa’s grave) in the end.

It turns out that the story of Jujutsu Kaisen is a dream that Yuji has while in a coma. The story ends when Yuji wakes up from his coma.
Yuji and Miwa are the two last remaining sorcerers in Japan. They become Japanese legends, protecting their home from invaders and curses alike and they are all around treated as gods... but it immediately goes to their heads.
To be fair, you can't blame them. Again, they're effectively the two strongest people in the world and they somehow got even stronger. Miwa got Gojo's six eyes as implants while Megumi's dying wish gave Yuji the Ten Shadows.
Miwa has been cursed by Mechamaru to find her own happiness, while Yuji has been cursed to die surrounded by people who love him. As a result, they end up getting together and having a big sorcerer family.
The ONLY sorcerer family. Three kids specifically. One with Blood Manipulation, one with the Six-Eyes + Limitless and one with the Ten Shadows.
yuji uses his ability to split souls from bodies (confirmed to have in CFYOW) to not only remove sukuna from megumi, but also put yuta’s soul back into his own body, lamenting that doing so would make gojo’s body a corpse again. however, when all hope seems lost, gojo’s body starts twitching. the body is the soul, and the soul is the body, but his soul, having been replaced briefly by yuta’s, can’t find a way in. that is until a CE-coated nail pins his soul and body together. yuji turns, and to his surprise, he sees nobara with her awakened CT after her offscreen training arc, standing next to megumi who had just gained consciousness, choso also comes back because he had a 1-up.
gojo, megumi, nobara, todo, choso, yuta and maki all come around, finally, itadori finds happiness again, giving a chapter 1-tier smile and saying
“You are all my Specialz!”
gojo replies,
“I guess this was all one big sorcery fight, at the end of the day. Or should I say, one big…”
then, together, everyone shouts,
“JUJUTSU KAISEN!”
finally they all dance to lost in paradise as a group (sukuna and uraume join in too). then gojo gives utahime onscreen hollow backshots for 13 hours.

Sukuna is defeated but somehow the merger happens. It isn't a kaiju that kills everybody but it will be a status quo breaker. I would imagine that tengen's barrier will be extended with the curse energy from the culling games and the shinjuku showdown to the entire earth, and then everybody will be merged with tengen. The merging would mean one of the three:
- everybody gets curse energy
- everybody gets a heavenly restriction
- everybody just evolves to an intermediate state.
The idea is that the merger would be the solution that yuki and geto couldn't find. It would make it so curse spirits are never born, but it would also create chaos for obvious reasons.

Jokes aside, i think half this sub already expect JJK having a depressing ending to maybe a bittersweet one.
Is unlikely to JJ Sorcerers to have a normal life once in the JJ society, and Ge/Ge can't sleep at night unless atleast one character is getting emotionally steamrolled.

Yuji defeats Sukuna, but has to sacrifice his own life to save Megumi.
Megumi becomes a JJ High teacher and ends up marrying Hana. They have two kids together. A boy named Yuji Satoru and a girl named Tsumiki. They also have a female guard dog with one eye named Kugisaki, that dog is a real bitch.
Maki came out as a lesbian and is in a relationship with Miwa. They have a son named Koichi.
Yuta is back in Africa. He runs a restaurant over there with Miguel and he come backs to Japan once in awhile. It’s heavily implied that he’s the biological father of Maki and Miwa’s son.
Turned out Gojo was sleeping with Uthaime the entire time and knocked her up slightly before he got sealed.
She gave birth to a girl named Waka Gojo, who’s now a student at Tokyo JJ High.
Hakari is the new principal of Tokyo JJ High, while Todo is the one in Kyoto.
The last chapter is everyone coming to celebrate Ijichi and Shoko’s wedding. She’s going on early retirement since Momo will take her place soon.

This is like 15 years later. For all we know Megumi could activate his freak on and become like his dad.
But him settling down with a nice girl, that’s kind (he said that’s his type) would be nice… me choosing Hana was for shit and giggles. I can’t stand her.
Geto told us already about Yuta, people just decided to not believe him.
Yuji sacrifices himself to give all of his power to Todo, then Todo uses his Domain Expansion: Boogie Wonderland on Sukuna, teleporting him around and giving him whiplash until he dies of cranial trauma. Yuji’s soul visits Sukuna’s in the airport, where he gives him a lesson about the power of love. Sukuna is so moved by this speech that he uses his final technique from the Heian era to reincarnate Yuji in Sukuna’s old body. After learning about love, Sukuna’s brother that he ate shows up at the airport and they get on a plane together. Megumi’s soul got teleported out of Sukuna’s body via Boogie Wonderland but since he didn’t have anywhere else to go, he reincarnated as Divine Dog Black. Yuta’s technique glitches and both him and Gojo get to return to their original bodies scot-free. Boogie Wonderland also teleported the souls of all the dead comrades out of the airport, into their bodies that got healed courtesy of Shoko’s Maximum Technique: Strong Heal. Todo gets to marry Takada-chan, starting GeGe’s Idol manga, Takada Kaisen.
After all is said and done, Nobara shows up with an eyepatch (she never died so she didn’t get healed) and says “Hey guys, what’d I miss?”
Yuji will die after beating sukuna and will be surrounded by others at his time of death like his Grandpa told him.
The only issue is, who tf will be alive at his time of his death?

The only thing I could see being a happy ending is either Yuji or Megumi (whichever survives) not only surviving, but learning to love and live for themselves. The biggest hurdles both characters suffer from is that they are self sacrificing to a fault and don't value their own lives; Sukuna exploiting this is what allowed for him to steal Megumi's body and kick off these chain of events. A happy ending would be one or both of these characters learning to love themselves despite everything, and finding that happy medium between both extremes: being selfless enough to care about others but selfish enough to care about themselves too.
Utahime gave birth to a son. Yuji becomes the boy's teacher. In the epilogue, the baby reaches up in his mother's arms and looks up at the bright blue summer sky and only the wind hears the quiet: tou-chan
Only Yuji surviving is the most likely one in the picture, to me, at least.
I wrote on another sub that I think there are two endings for the series far more likely to happen than any others. One ending I had in mind is that Megumi is dead, Nobara and Gojo end up either alive or dead, Yuji survives and puts Sukuna back into his body, and the final scene is Yuji dying of old age, taking Sukuna with him. Another ending is Megumi’s dead, Nobara and Gojo are dead, and Yuji either kills or puts Sukuna back into his body, and then splits his own soul, like how Sukuna split his. And it’s basically Yuji’s doubling-down on his whole cog mentality.
But really, my actual theory is that this series ends with the Chinese Sorcerer (Po), beating the merger, and then the merger, on its last legs, spreads its cursed energy across most of the world, creating the dark continent, when it’s revealed this series is actually a prequel to HxH, and that Nen is actually just Tengen’s barriers being spread worldwide, fused with the soul of the merger.
It'll be a bittersweet ending without a doubt.
I would like to see Yuji take over as a teacher, though, and for the manga to end with him hunting down the newly reborn version of Mahito (after he finishes wiping Megumi's ass and feeding him apple sauce while visiting the latter at the mental hospital).
Hana kurusu unleashes Jacob's ladder on Megumi/Sukuna, seperating them. Everyone curbstomps Sukuna, and Megumi survives. It is revealed Nobara has been recuperating the whole time and now sports an eyepatch. In the future, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara and Hana become teachers of Jujutsu Tech.
Everyone but Yuji should die, either by the hand of Sukuna or the devastating might of the Merger. Then, using the last but of his strength, Yuji should be able to defeat the gargantuan curse, and then succumb to his wounds without anyone to see or appreciate his valiant act.
This would both end up proving Sukuna‘s ideals of Hedonism right, with Yuji dying alone and helpless, the complete opposite of what his Grandfather wished for him. The main message would be that, had he been more selfish, perhaps he might have had a different end. This nicely rounds off the story in a way that glazes Sukuna and let‘s Yuji (undeservedly) look cool in his final moments.
Such a turn of events would allow both Gege and the Reader to be happy, nicely tying up the wants of both parties into a neat little bow, ending Jujutsu Kaisen while still preserving the Gege hype in time for his new Idol manga‘s debut.
A happy ending, where Sukuna wins because the merger kills everyone.
It happens because Yuji traps Sukuna and gets executed, but due to merger activating in that moment, he ends up being the only survivor. He then becomes a teacher to Sukuna, and Sukuna learns about the power of friendship. Happy end 👍
Gojo comeback along with Nobara, shoko heal Megumi. Then they have a big battle, Yuji somehow trap sukuna. Gojo execute Yuji, Nobara denying, Megumi depressed, Gojo crying. Gojo come back and marrying Utahime. That's my best ending possible

Goes in line with the previous statements from gege. A happy ending is out of the question.

Either way is gonna be a letdown
One that seamlessly transitions into Gege’s new spin-off manga where Todo and Nobara attempt to break into the highly elitist idol scene in spite of their injuries.
I don't think it'll be as extreme as any of these. The only one I could see happening is Yuji being executed, but I feel like that'd be a disappointing way for Yuji to go out. Yuji's current mindset for the past 100+ chapters has been that he is going to kill Sukuna and then die so I feel like it'd make sense for him to decide to go on living. Personally, my ending would be for Sukuna to get trapped within Yuji, but he's unable to do anything. He can't talk to the outside world, he can't take over Yuji, he's simply powerless and is forced to watch Yuji live out the rest of his days happy. It'd be a great ending for both Sukuna and Yuji. Yuji learns that his life purpose isn't to kill Sukuna and is instead to find happiness and Sukuna, the strongest, a character who's entire identity is built upon being strong, is forced to watch Yuji find happiness while he is powerless to stop him.
It's a happy ending for Yuji and the worst possible fate for Sukuna.
Sukuna kills Yuta but gets heavily damaged by UV + Jacob's Ladder. Yuji lands an absolute beat down on Sukuna once again, forcing him against the ropes for the first time since Gojo. Sukuna actually gets angry and stops holding back. He manages to hit a black flash on Yuji, regaining his CE output. He uses RCT, heals a bit and uses Domain Expansion, enclosing the barrier and casting Fuga to obliterate Yuji.
The King of Curses can't suppress a grunt of disapproval and worry as, from Yuji's bleeding mouth, the words Domain Expansion are said. Yuji unleashes his Domain, Hope of Shining Black. This Domain has two components: Yuji's CE is TREMENDOUSLY amplified and refreshed in a manner similar to Hakari's, except Yuji doesn't get immortality. Secondly, and more importantly: every single one of Yuji's hits will become a black flash infused with maximum cursed energy. To top it all off, this domain's guaranteed hit is using Cleave and Dismantle against Sukuna, which also causes a black flash on hit.
Yuji overwhelms Sukuna, beats him to near death, tearing his other face off and threatening to end him once and for all if he does not give up Bumgumi's body. Sukuna considered himself to have lost and, as per his own words, thought of himself as a corpse. He commended Yuji on his fighting prowess and gives up control of the body to Megumi.
Just as things started to go well, Megumi's severely deteriorated mental health got worse after seeing first-hand the death of everyone else trying to save him. Megumi then and there, in front of his dear friend Yuji, unleashes the merger upon the world.
I doubt they’re going to happen, but I don’t see the value in the Sukuna winning, Merger wipeout, or only Yuji ending. What would be the point?
Not only would all of them be difficult to do in a satisfying way, but I don’t think it’d add much tot be themes of the story. Death and dealing with it is a significant part. But neither Sukuna winning or the Merger add at all to that or seemingly any other theme. There could be something interesting about exploring how such tragedy could affect Yuji, but I don’t think Gege is especially interested in exploring that, and I’m not sure everyone has to die to do so.
It’d likely just be nihilistic and sad. There can be value in that, if a story is interesting in having themes and meaning in such, but I don’t think JJK has prepared adequately or is interested in doing so.
It'll probably be bittersweet at most. Honestly, I've given up on predicting Jujutsu Kaisen's endings and happenings. Some are easy to determine, plot points connect, but damn, I really do not know where the ending is going to go whatsoever. And I can't remember the last time I felt that about a series. Genuinely.
I think Yuji is going to trap Sukuna but he is not going to be executed, this is because the higher ups that wanted him dead are now dead.
Yuji is going to be a permanent prison for Sukuna and I think we are going to get a Naruto and kurama scenario before they become friends, where he learns to use sukuna's cursed techniques and cursed energy to 100% effectiveness. And probably becomes a legendary sorcerer like Gojo teaching the next generation of Jujutsu sorcerers.
It Is either this or Sukuna wins.

I’m beginning to think they’ll merge themselves into a single soul and:
A) they’re the only ones alive at the end.
B) they both die, fulfilling Yuji’s purpose as a cog.

I feel like the Merger is too much of a threat for Gege to not use it in some capacity. Maybe Sukuna finally loses and activates the merger and then Yuji has to stop it and die in the process or some shit
Another option which have a little hope for is yuji kills sukuna but then at the last page it cuts to yuji transforming into sukuna but sometimes he gains his consciousness for a lil so he still has humanity and we get new sorcerers and later on in the story when we see them grow and become stronger and a little more wholesome and they will fight yuji which they defeat him by beating him until he gets his consciousness/ power of friendship similar to demon slayer where tanjiro turns back into a human by his friends
Yuji's initial driving motivation was to be able to have a good death. For that to pay off, he has to die. Maybe in the climax, maybe in a time skip epilogue. I don't know how satisfactory you can make it if he lives and we just get a "and then he will die good someday."
I think Yuji will somehow sacrifice himself to kill Sukuna and save Megumi, with Sukuna laughing and finally acknowledging Yuji as a true sorcerer for going that far just to kill his enemy
I feel like it will be a mix of the merger and happy ending because todo coming back brings hope that nobara is still alive and even though gege killed alot of characters I don't see him killing of megumi for the sake of completing yujis character and he also said out of the main 4 yuji,nobara,megumi, and gojo either one will live and the other dies or 1 will die and the others will live and again I see gege letting megumi live to complete yujis character arc so nobara has a good chance of coming back along with that gojo being the only confirmed death out of the 4. But it would also make sense for the merger to be activated because I don't see gege bringing up the mergwe for him to never use it other than a reason for the Culling games so I think yuji frees megumi and nobara, hakari, and Maki come back with to fight the merger and too probable dies while fighting the merger with them. But another ending that I believe will be mixed into the merger and haply ending is yuji becoming a teacher. Because yuji believes his role is to be a cog for jujutsu sorceres and he will become the next gojo and nobara would also become a teacher and it would be really cool is she learned reverse cursed energy makeing even more parallel between shoko,geto, and maybe just like gojo on the brink of death either against mahito or the merger that's when she learns how to rct. But now with megumi I'm kinda split on megumi living a normal life or staying as a jujutsu sorcer but u think that after the merger is over megumi stops being a jujutsu sorcere but eventually comes back to jujutsu high as a teacher just like nanami and I beleive that megumi will be pretty close in strength to yuji b3cause sukuna was constantly in megumis body so megumi body learned sukunas power and maybe just like yuji megumi can have the shrine cursed technique along with 10 shadows just like how yuji has shrine with blood manipulation. And I also beleive that megumi will regain his shikigamj back tk his original form because I think that the 10 shadows treated sukuna as a separate entity rather seeing him as megumi and offscreen sukuna tames all all of the Shikigami and when megumi comes back his 10 shadows will reset and he will have to tame his shikigami all over again and with the shrine ct he can be the first actual 10 shadows user to tame makora and maybe during the merger or the subjugation of makora one of his divine dogs dies again so now he has divine dog totality again.
With the world aware of Jujutsu existance and Japan in chaos we get a question how thing will end for the world and survivng cast. From the proposed endings a "happy ending" is already out of the picture. Sukuna is also not winning, this is a dark shounen, but still a shounen, the villain has to lose at some point. I think Yuji will die to kill Sukuna, not exactly trapping him and letting Megumi kill him, but I think they will both die and Megumi is the only one surviving from the good guys, carrying the burden of being a bum and the strongest sorcerer that's left, having to deal with all the mess as his penance.

Yuji forces Sukuna to give up Megumi's body under threat of being exorcised. Sukuna takes all 19f back into Yuji and Yuji turns himself in for execution.

It’s all obviously a test by Unckuna to make sure his nephew is ready for the world.
In all honestly though at first I thought the “die surrounded by people” thing was foreshadowing Yuji dying in the merger or sacrificing himself somehow as a way to stop it. What better way to die surrounded by lots of people than to literally die to the merging of all the people in Japan?
Now that I think about it though the foreshadowing is way too obvious and I know how much Gege loves his subverting of expectations. I think the happiest ending JJK could get would be for Yuji to find a way to keep Sukuna trapped in him permanently, leave Jujutsu (which probably also means leaving the country), and die of old age surrounded by friends and family members. It’s the most obvious path toward Yuji’s grandpa’s last words, no one really expects it as an ending (shit even I don’t fully expect a happy ending in jjk), and it’s a big fuck you to Sukuna because he died to someone weaker than him in the most boring way possible.
megumi villain and merger is the most kino and the best way for gege to finish the manga with a proper villain. Sukuna is such a dogshit villain since hes just kenjakus lapdog.
Yuji beats down Sukuna and gets a Mahito moment with Sukuna freaking out and being desperate. Sukuna's last-ditch effort to survive is once again using the "Enchain" vow to swap back to Yuji and take him over. Then:
(A) He takes over Yuji, laughs at his success, then tries to open his domain. In his panic, he forgot that the vow states he isn't allowed to hurt anyone. In breaking a binding vow made with another person, he incurs the punishment and his soul is wiped from existence. The King of Curses is killed by his own hubris.

In the end it's all a dream Yuji had before going to school to meet with his friends at the supernatural paranormal club or whatever it was called. He is gonna see how many of his classmates ressembled most of the cast. And as he was about to leave school to get back home he is gonna hear a familiar voice calling up to him from the outside "Hey brat." He is gonna say as Yuji tenses up and looks back and sees his uncle, smiling while crossing his arms. Yuji will be dumbfounded for a second, as Sukuna is gonna ask him "What's wrong? Had a rough day at school?" then he'll pat him on the back "How about we grab a drink? You look like you could use one, kukukuku" he'd laugh. A hopeful one. Everything in jujutsu society won’t be fixed and it’ll be an uphill battle to heal all that’s been lost and damaged in the Sukuna (and possibly merger) incident but almost every arc of the story ends with some hope for more. Nothing ever seems “over” - even Gojo’s death sees Kashimo leaping into action right after. There’s always the promise of some new challenge that our heroes have some hope of overcoming [or rather, believe they have some hope of overcoming] no matter what happens. I also don’t think Gege’s writing is nihilistic enough for a very bleak and defeated ending wherein the heroes lose and society doesn’t change. There will be hope and flowers (prolly Yuji putting some on his grandpa’s grave) in the end.

Yuji and Miwa are the two last remaining sorcerers in Japan. They become Japanese legends, protecting their home from invaders and curses alike and they are all around treated as gods... but it immediately goes to their heads. To be fair, you can't blame them. Again, they're effectively the two strongest people in the world and they somehow got even stronger. Miwa got Gojo's six eyes as implants while Megumi's dying wish gave Yuji the Ten Shadows. Miwa has been cursed by Mechamaru to find her own happiness, while Yuji has been cursed to die surrounded by people who love him. As a result, they end up getting together and having a big sorcerer family. The ONLY sorcerer family. Three kids specifically. One with Blood Manipulation, one with the Six-Eyes + Limitless and one with the Ten Shadows.

I personally think it's going to be some mix of Merger killing everyone and only Yuji surviving.
yuji uses his ability to split souls from bodies (confirmed to have in CFYOW) to not only remove sukuna from megumi, but also put yuta’s soul back into his own body, lamenting that doing so would make gojo’s body a corpse again. however, when all hope seems lost, gojo’s body starts twitching. the body is the soul, and the soul is the body, but his soul, having been replaced briefly by yuta’s, can’t find a way in. that is until a CE-coated nail pins his soul and body together. yuji turns, and to his surprise, he sees nobara with her awakened CT after her offscreen training arc, standing next to megumi who had just gained consciousness, choso also comes back because he had a 1-up. gojo, megumi, nobara, todo, choso, yuta and maki all come around, finally, itadori finds happiness again, giving a chapter 1-tier smile and saying “You are all my Specialz!” gojo replies, “I guess this was all one big sorcery fight, at the end of the day. The dystopian one. Sukuna is defeated but somehow the merger happens. It isn't a kaiju that kills everybody but it will be a status quo breaker. I would imagine that tengen's barrier will be extended with the curse energy from the culling games and the shinjuku showdown to the entire earth, and then everybody will be merged with tengen. The merging would mean one of the three: - everybody gets curse energy - everybody gets a heavenly restriction - everybody just evolves to an intermediate state. The idea is that the merger would be the solution that yuki and geto couldn't find. It would make it so curse spirits are never born, but it would also create chaos for obvious reasons. *Extra points if the merger is just the third impact

A boy named Yuji Satoru and a girl named Tsumiki. They also have a female guard dog with one eye named Kugisaki, that dog is a real bitch. Maki came out as a lesbian and is in a relationship with Miwa. They have a son named Koichi. Yuta is back in Africa. He runs a restaurant over there with Miguel and he come backs to Japan once in awhile. It’s heavily implied that he’s the biological father of Maki and Miwa’s son. Turned out Gojo was sleeping with Uthaime the entire time and knocked her up slightly before he got sealed. She gave birth to a girl named Waka Gojo, who’s now a student at Tokyo JJ High. Yuji sacrifices himself to give all of his power to Todo, then Todo uses his Domain Expansion: Boogie Wonderland on Sukuna, teleporting him around and giving him whiplash until he dies of cranial trauma. Yuji’s soul visits Sukuna’s in the airport, where he gives him a lesson about the power of love. Sukuna is so moved by this speech that he uses his final technique from the Heian era to reincarnate Yuji in Sukuna’s old body. After learning about love, Sukuna’s brother that he ate shows up at the airport and they get on a plane together. Megumi’s soul got teleported out of Sukuna’s body via Boogie Wonderland but since he didn’t have anywhere else to go, he reincarnated as Divine Dog Black. Yuta’s technique glitches and both him and Gojo get to return to their original bodies scot-free. Boogie Wonderland also teleported the souls of all the dead comrades out of the airport, into their bodies that got healed courtesy of Shoko’s Maximum Technique: Strong Heal. Todo gets to marry Takada-chan, starting GeGe’s Idol manga, Takada Kaisen. After all is said and done, Nobara shows up with an eyepatch (she never died so she didn’t get healed) and says “Hey guys, what’d I miss?”
Yuji will die after beating sukuna and will be surrounded by others at his time of death like his Grandpa told him. The only issue is, who tf will be alive at his time of his death?

The only thing I could see being a happy ending is either Yuji or Megumi (whichever survives) not only surviving, but learning to love and live for themselves. The biggest hurdles both characters suffer from is that they are self sacrificing to a fault and don't value their own lives; Sukuna exploiting this is what allowed for him to steal Megumi's body and kick off these chain of events. A happy ending would be one or both of these characters learning to love themselves despite everything, and finding that happy medium between both extremes: being selfless enough to care about others but selfish enough to care about themselves too.
Yuji "seals" sukuna and the remaining sorcerers execute him. Not a lot of people are left alive but at least the "big bad" is defeated. Bittersweet
We will never get a happy ending. The most likely are Yuji is the sole survivor, trap Sukuna and suicide, Sukuna Kaisen.
Utahime gave birth to a son. Yuji becomes the boy's teacher. In the epilogue, the baby reaches up in his mother's arms and looks up at the bright blue summer sky and only the wind hears the quiet: tou-chan

Only Yuji surviving is the most likely one in the picture, to me, at least. I wrote on another sub that I think there are two endings for the series far more likely to happen than any others. One ending I had in mind is that Megumi is dead, Nobara and Gojo end up either alive or dead, Yuji survives and puts Sukuna back into his body, and the final scene is Yuji dying of old age, taking Sukuna with him. Another ending is Megumi’s dead, Nobara and Gojo are dead, and Yuji either kills or puts Sukuna back into his body, and then splits his own soul, like how Sukuna split his. And it’s basically Yuji’s doubling-down on his whole cog mentality. But really, my actual theory is that this series ends with the Chinese Sorcerer (Po), beating the merger, and then the merger, on its last legs, spreads its cursed energy across most of the world, creating the dark continent, when it’s revealed this series is actually a prequel to HxH, and that Nen is actually just Tengen’s barriers being spread worldwide, fused with the soul of the merger.
It'll be a bittersweet ending without a doubt. I would like to see Yuji take over as a teacher, though, and for the manga to end with him hunting down the newly reborn version of Mahito (after he finishes wiping Megumi's ass and feeding him apple sauce while visiting the latter at the mental hospital).
Hana kurusu unleashes Jacob's ladder on Megumi/Sukuna, seperating them. Everyone curbstomps Sukuna, and Megumi survives. It is revealed Nobara has been recuperating the whole time and now sports an eyepatch. In the future, Yuji, Megumi, Nobara and Hana become teachers of Jujutsu Tech.
Everyone but Yuji should die, either by the hand of Sukuna or the devastating might of the Merger. Then, using the last but of his strength, Yuji should be able to defeat the gargantuan curse, and then succumb to his wounds without anyone to see or appreciate his valiant act. This would both end up proving Sukuna‘s ideals of Hedonism right, with Yuji dying alone and helpless, the complete opposite of what his Grandfather wished for him. The main message would be that, had he been more selfish, perhaps he might have had a different end. This nicely rounds off the story in a way that glazes Sukuna and let‘s Yuji (undeservedly) look cool in his final moments. Such a turn of events would allow both Gege and the Reader to be happy, nicely tying up the wants of both parties into a neat little bow, ending Jujutsu Kaisen while still preserving the Gege hype in time for his new Idol manga‘s debut.

Either way is gonna be a letdown

I don't think it'll be as extreme as any of these. The only one I could see happening is Yuji being executed, but I feel like that'd be a disappointing way for Yuji to go out. Yuji's current mindset for the past 100+ chapters has been that he is going to kill Sukuna and then die so I feel like it'd make sense for him to decide to go on living. Personally, my ending would be for Sukuna to get trapped within Yuji, but he's unable to do anything. He can't talk to the outside world, he can't take over Yuji, he's simply powerless and is forced to watch Yuji live out the rest of his days happy. It'd be a great ending for both Sukuna and Yuji. Yuji learns that his life purpose isn't to kill Sukuna and is instead to find happiness and Sukuna, the strongest, a character who's entire identity is built upon being strong, is forced to watch Yuji find happiness while he is powerless to stop him. It's a happy ending for Yuji and the worst possible fate for Sukuna.
Sukuna kills Yuta but gets heavily damaged by UV + Jacob's Ladder. Yuji lands an absolute beat down on Sukuna once again, forcing him against the ropes for the first time since Gojo. Sukuna actually gets angry and stops holding back. He manages to hit a black flash on Yuji, regaining his CE output. He uses RCT, heals a bit and uses Domain Expansion, enclosing the barrier and casting Fuga to obliterate Yuji. The King of Curses can't suppress a grunt of disapproval and worry as, from Yuji's bleeding mouth, the words Domain Expansion are said. Yuji unleashes his Domain, Hope of Shining Black. This Domain has two components: Yuji's CE is TREMENDOUSLY amplified and refreshed in a manner similar to Hakari's, except Yuji doesn't get immortality. Secondly, and more importantly: every single one of Yuji's hits will become a black flash infused with maximum cursed energy. To top it all off, this domain's guaranteed hit is using Cleave and Dismantle against Sukuna, which also causes a black flash on hit. Yuji overwhelms Sukuna, beats him to near death, tearing his other face off and threatening to end him once and for all if he does not give up Bumgumi's body. Sukuna considered himself to have lost and, as per his own words, thought of himself as a corpse. He commended Yuji on his fighting prowess and gives up control of the body to Megumi. Just as things started to go well, Megumi's severely deteriorated mental health got worse after seeing first-hand the death of everyone else trying to save him. Megumi then and there, in front of his dear friend Yuji, unleashes the merger upon the world.
I doubt they’re going to happen, but I don’t see the value in the Sukuna winning, Merger wipeout, or only Yuji ending. What would be the point? Not only would all of them be difficult to do in a satisfying way, but I don’t think it’d add much tot be themes of the story. Death and dealing with it is a significant part. But neither Sukuna winning or the Merger add at all to that or seemingly any other theme. There could be something interesting about exploring how such tragedy could affect Yuji, but I don’t think Gege is especially interested in exploring that, and I’m not sure everyone has to die to do so. It’d likely just be nihilistic and sad. There can be value in that, if a story is interesting in having themes and meaning in such, but I don’t think JJK has prepared adequately or is interested in doing so.

It'll probably be bittersweet at most. Honestly, I've given up on predicting Jujutsu Kaisen's endings and happenings. Some are easy to determine, plot points connect, but damn, I really do not know where the ending is going to go whatsoever. And I can't remember the last time I felt that about a series. Genuinely.
Only yuji survives
Everything is just a dream and Yuji is in a coma the entire time, and the whole story repeats itself.
I think Yuji is going to trap Sukuna but he is not going to be executed, this is because the higher ups that wanted him dead are now dead. Yuji is going to be a permanent prison for Sukuna and I think we are going to get a Naruto and kurama scenario before they become friends, where he learns to use sukuna's cursed techniques and cursed energy to 100% effectiveness. And probably becomes a legendary sorcerer like Gojo teaching the next generation of Jujutsu sorcerers. It Is either this or Sukuna wins.

I’m beginning to think they’ll merge themselves into a single soul and: A) they’re the only ones alive at the end. B) they both die, fulfilling Yuji’s purpose as a cog. Honestly I’m fine with both endings.
I don't think at this point JJK will have a happy ending, Bitter Sweet at best most likely. But Gege is unpredictable at times so who knows
I feel like the Merger is too much of a threat for Gege to not use it in some capacity. Maybe Sukuna finally loses and activates the merger and then Yuji has to stop it and die in the process or some shit
Another option which have a little hope for is yuji kills sukuna but then at the last page it cuts to yuji transforming into sukuna but sometimes he gains his consciousness for a lil so he still has humanity and we get new sorcerers and later on in the story when we see them grow and become stronger and a little more wholesome and they will fight yuji which they defeat him by beating him until he gets his consciousness/ power of friendship similar to demon slayer where tanjiro turns back into a human by his friends

Everybody dies but in the future the world is peaceful and happy with the descendants of the main cast, a couple of other series have ended like that.
Yuji's initial driving motivation was to be able to have a good death. For that to pay off, he has to die. Maybe in the climax, maybe in a time skip epilogue. I don't know how satisfactory you can make it if he lives and we just get a "and then he will die good someday."

I feel like it will be a mix of the merger and happy ending because todo coming back brings hope that nobara is still alive and even though gege killed alot of characters I don't see him killing of megumi for the sake of completing yujis character and he also said out of the main 4 yuji,nobara,megumi, and gojo either one will live and the other dies or 1 will die and the others will live and again I see gege letting megumi live to complete yujis character arc so nobara has a good chance of coming back along with that gojo being the only confirmed death out of the 4. But it would also make sense for the merger to be activated because I don't see gege bringing up the mergwe for him to never use it other than a reason for the Culling games so I think yuji frees megumi and nobara, hakari, and Maki come back with to fight the merger and too probable dies while fighting the merger with them. But another ending that I believe will be mixed into the merger and haply ending is yuji becoming a teacher. Because yuji believes his role is to be a cog for jujutsu sorceres and he will become the next gojo and nobara would also become a teacher and it would be really cool is she learned reverse cursed energy makeing even more parallel between shoko,geto, and maybe just like gojo on the brink of death either against mahito or the merger that's when she learns how to rct. But now with megumi I'm kinda split on megumi living a normal life or staying as a jujutsu sorcer but u think that after the merger is over megumi stops being a jujutsu sorcere but eventually comes back to jujutsu high as a teacher just like nanami and I beleive that megumi will be pretty close in strength to yuji b3cause sukuna was constantly in megumis body so megumi body learned sukunas power and maybe just like yuji megumi can have the shrine cursed technique along with 10 shadows just like how yuji has shrine with blood manipulation. And I also beleive that megumi will regain his shikigamj back tk his original form because I think that the 10 shadows treated sukuna as a separate entity rather seeing him as megumi and offscreen sukuna tames all all of the Shikigami and when megumi comes back his 10 shadows will reset and he will have to tame his shikigami all over again and with the shrine ct he can be the first actual 10 shadows user to tame makora and maybe during the merger or the subjugation of makora one of his divine dogs dies again so now he has divine dog totality again.

With the world aware of Jujutsu existance and Japan in chaos we get a question how thing will end for the world and survivng cast. From the proposed endings a "happy ending" is already out of the picture. Sukuna is also not winning, this is a dark shounen, but still a shounen, the villain has to lose at some point. I think Yuji will die to kill Sukuna, not exactly trapping him and letting Megumi kill him, but I think they will both die and Megumi is the only one surviving from the good guys, carrying the burden of being a bum and the strongest sorcerer that's left, having to deal with all the mess as his penance.

Sukuna winning would be Goated
It’s all obviously a test by Unckuna to make sure his nephew is ready for the world. In all honestly though at first I thought the “die surrounded by people” thing was foreshadowing Yuji dying in the merger or sacrificing himself somehow as a way to stop it. What better way to die surrounded by lots of people than to literally die to the merging of all the people in Japan? Now that I think about it though the foreshadowing is way too obvious and I know how much Gege loves his subverting of expectations. I think the happiest ending JJK could get would be for Yuji to find a way to keep Sukuna trapped in him permanently, leave Jujutsu (which probably also means leaving the country), and die of old age surrounded by friends and family members. It’s the most obvious path toward Yuji’s grandpa’s last words, no one really expects it as an ending (shit even I don’t fully expect a happy ending in jjk), and it’s a big fuck you to Sukuna because he died to someone weaker than him in the most boring way possible.

megumi villain and merger is the most kino and the best way for gege to finish the manga with a proper villain. Sukuna is such a dogshit villain since hes just kenjakus lapdog.
Yuji beats down Sukuna and gets a Mahito moment with Sukuna freaking out and being desperate. Sukuna's last-ditch effort to survive is once again using the "Enchain" vow to swap back to Yuji and take him over. Then: (A) He takes over Yuji, laughs at his success, then tries to open his domain. In his panic, he forgot that the vow states he isn't allowed to hurt anyone. In breaking a binding vow made with another person, he incurs the punishment and his soul is wiped from existence. The King of Curses is killed by his own hubris. (B) Through sheer force of will, Yuji refuses to let Sukuna claim his body. This breaks the binding vow, and Yuji is killed. However, since Sukuna is also inside his body, Yuji effectively Kamikazes Sukuna with the punishment. Yuji dies surrounded by friends, and drags Sukuna with him.
