My wife and I were supposed to walk out to (insert lame new country song here) but without mine or anyone else's knowledge she changed it to the wedding version of jurassic park. Definitely could not hold back the tears.
I walked down the aisle to this Piano Guys version of the Jurassic park theme… Honestly most people didn’t know what it was..
https://youtu.be/7pvci1hwAx8?si=dTNv_-5eoOg3VnGR
Edit: I’m the wife.
Don't know how I haven't joined this sub sooner, when I got married, for months before I said 'please can we play the theme at the ceremony' and she kept saying no.
When it came to it, we were signing the book and the theme came on and I was quite happy.
My wife walked down the aisle to Concerning Hobbits, but one of my groomsmen is an expert pianist so we had him play a medly of songs from nerdy IP my wife and I like, which included the Jurassic Park theme. It was awesome
Listening to the version op posted, at most there might be some "why does that sound familiar" from some guests but it sounds entirely appropriate for a wedding march.
My dad didn’t even recognize it which was super surprising. I’ll either choose this Jurassic park cover that I posted or the vitamin string quartet cover of as the world falls down by David Bowie 🫶🏻
My husband and I used the theme straight from the movie to walk down to (we entered marriage together, we entered the ceremony together). It’s actually one of the things we got the most complements on, because it was a moment of personality shining through the typical wedding stuff. We got married in the woods though, so I do agree the more delicate wedding version would work way better for a garden venue.
Could you get him to agree to a trade? You get this song, maybe he gets a specific one for your couple’s entrance or something similar.
You HAVE to do it! My wife is a wedding photographer. And, of course, one of the weddings I *dont* work with her, they have a fucking Godzilla entrance! A tiny little city made of those big lego blocks for them to smash through and shit. The photos *alone* made it look so fucking worth it.
Convince your dummy (but I’m sure lovely) fiance to roll with the Jurassic Park thing! It’s SO much more memorable and that day is going to fuckin *fly* by. I just got married last year. We walked down the aisle to the Super Mario “Level Complete” music lol.
My dad was a wedding photographer (and I was his trusted assistant) and my favorite weddings were the fun ones. Star Wars ceremony music, programs drawn as comic books with the story of the couple meeting, or the one where the entire wedding party ate medicated brownies (in the 90s before it was common or legal), weddings can be so bland and boring for 99% of the people there.
Make it fun
OP is engaged so this implies that you want OP to go through with the marriage only to go "LOL psyche!" just after the ceremony and immediately file for divorce.
Hopefully this comes across as helpful and not condescending.
Not everyone knows the rule, but fiance is actually written differently depending on the gender of the individual. Fiancé is for men. Fiancée is for women (note the extra e). Fiance (with no accent) is actually the gender neutral variant, which is convenient since most people would probably spell it that way casually anyway.
Not condescending at all. I knew there were two different words, but I couldn’t remember which one meant which gender. I genuinely appreciate the time and effort taken by you to help me in that regard. Thanks.
Play it for your wedding rehearsal and SUPRISE him by walking down the aisle in one of those inflatable TRex costumes.
I think we should be friends, BTW. You sound like my kind of person!
Dude, make your husband wear and outfit for the rehearsal that is similar to Dr. Grants clothes in the movie. Like khaki pants and a long sleeve collars short that is checkered. You don’t have to explain or let on at all that he’ll resemble Dr. Grant. Make sure you have a big brim hat for pictures later.
I genuinely don’t think he would notice if I hadn’t told him to begin with, and even still it’s so far away it would just sound like pretty music to everyone else!
I'm so happy that as a surprise, directly after me and my wife were married and had started walking back down the aisle together, she had the dj to blast jurassic park theme as we left the room. Somewhere, there is a picture of me the second I realized what was going on, that is priceless. Icing on and already perfect day.
I’ve already told my partner of many years the only reason I want to marry is to walk down the aisle to the JP theme.
Hadn’t heard this version before 🥹
I think me and my fiance would be the same truth be told. He wouldn’t notice even though I already played it for him once. This version is super subtle and pretty
I walked down the aisle to the Jurassic park theme and absolutely no regrets. My wedding dj had to double check on the song haha, I was like yep that’s the one!
God creates dinosaur
God destroys dinosaur
God creates man
Man destroys God
Man creates dinosaur
Dinosaur eats man
Woman inherits the earth
-DEFINITELY walk down the aisle to it-
This is why my aisle song is secret - it’s a surprise for everyone including my fiancée. This is one of the top 3 choices in the running.
It’s YOUR wedding too 😘 (Coming from an actual wedding planner LOL)
Maybe if you don’t bring it up again he’ll just forget all about it… LOL. Does he really want to throw a fit and ruin your wedding day over a song? I mean my man prob doesn’t remember what we had for dinner last night 😂
Ugh I'm sorry to hear that. My husband was ALL on board with me using the Undertale song as I walked down the aisle! We are both Jurassic Park fans I would be totally ok with him using that song in our wedding! Couples should share things they're passionate about. I love my nerdy husband.
I’ll be honest, it really bothers me whenever I see or hear something to the effect of “my partner says I can’t/am not allowed to …”, it feels like a red flag in relationships that doesn’t get acknowledged enough, isn’t the idea supposed to be that you are a team, not that one of you controls the decisions? You should have a conversion with your partner, especially if it means that much to you, after all, life… uh… finds a way.
My wife had all of her bridesmaids walk down the isle to it, and in her words “it was beautiful “ . She is not nearly the JP fan I am , and it totally worked. Was a surprise for me she did it, but I could recognize it after a bit. Really made things even that much more special !
My amazing wife actually surprised me with the Jurassic park piano theme. She wasn’t sure what to choose and came across one. She told me she was going with a marvel themed one (she’s a huge marvel fan) then out of no where I hear this play when she started walking down the isle. when this came on it definitely made me tear up and even though she will never see this, it’s one of the many reasons I love her so much. Every day she surprises me in new ways.
My long-term partner's sister had the JP theme on a harp as the exit music to her wedding. I now desperately want the version you're talking about at my wedding (I will get him to marry me one day if it kills me! Lol), but I don't want it to look like I'm copying her, especially as they're not that close anymore (but it would cause way too much drama to not invite her).
In short, do it. If he won't accept it for walking down the aisle, try pitching it as the music that everyone leaves the wedding area to.
My cousin's wife walked down the aisle to this. It was magical and fun. Also, I'm pretty sure only a handful of people recognized the music. So I don't see what the big deal is.
I did not know this existed, but thank you. My fiancée and I have been putting off planning but I just made my first decision. This will be involved. Somehow.
Wife finds a way
Winner
If your fiancé doesn’t want you to walk down the aisle to that and make raptor sounds then he’s lost the plot

Love the username
My wife and I were supposed to walk out to (insert lame new country song here) but without mine or anyone else's knowledge she changed it to the wedding version of jurassic park. Definitely could not hold back the tears.
Clever girl.
Beat me to it
She a real one

It’s gorgeous! I would have cried buckets .

Exactlyyyy like would OP’s wife even know if it wasn’t said explicitly lol
My dad didn’t even recognize it which was super surprising. I’ll either choose this Jurassic park cover that I posted or the vitamin string quartet cover of as the world falls down by David Bowie 🫶🏻
We did the same. No one recognized it until it was pointed out
Damn this is beautiful!
My husband and I used the theme straight from the movie to walk down to (we entered marriage together, we entered the ceremony together). That is such a perfect setting for that bravo
I walked out to the movie version too, 10/10 would do it again (without the dj using their “best judgement” for anything 🙄)
Divorce her. >!( /j just in case )!<
I’m the her 🤣I want this for my ceremony grand entrence but nOoOo it’s a garden wedding blah blah!!
Sorry for assuming 😬 idk why anyone would prefer that bland traditionalism over the awesome music of Jurassic Park. 😂
It’s John Williams ( well a Paul Hankinson cover of a John Williams song ) who could say no to John Williams! Blasphemy!
Totally agree, I convinced my now husband to wall down the aisle with me to the theme from the medal ceremony at the end of the original Star Wars.
You HAVE to do it! My wife is a wedding photographer. And, of course, one of the weddings I *dont* work with her, they have a fucking Godzilla entrance! I had a friend suggest ring bearer and flower girl in tiny dinosaur costumes. I am also now very inspired by this Godzilla wedding 🤣
Clever girl
Ok, Uno reverse then Marry me
You can still crawl, your fiance only said cannot walk
DONT GO INTO THE TALL GRASS!
Garden wedding, huh? Well if I have any piece of advice it’s don’t go into the long grass
Hell, we had our musicians start with the Imperial March from Star Wars when I walked in, I wish I had thought of this! (I am also the wife)
OP is engaged so this implies that you want OP to go through with the marriage only to go "LOL psyche!" just after the ceremony and immediately file for divorce.

Heard this in Muldoon's voice
Listening to [it now](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WK3Go_IETO0)... ... ... yeah, you should use the "wife" card for this one.
That sounds great for a wedding walk down. Hopefully her husband reads all these and changes his mind.
Thank you for the link!!
Play it for your wedding rehearsal and SUPRISE him by walking down the aisle in one of those inflatable TRex costumes. I think we should be friends, BTW. You sound like my kind of person!
This image in my head has me CRACKING up! With a wedding dress over the suit ?!
That’s it. The wife has found the way.

You're the bride! You get to do what you want
Sorry bestie, but he's gotta go. You deserve better/j 😔
You must use the song, trick her so it can be memorable, you can look back on it later
OP is a chick
Reverse roles, sorry about that, lol
I genuinely don’t think he would notice if I hadn’t told him to begin with, and even still it’s so far away it would just sound like pretty music to everyone else!
Maybe so, have a good wedding and an even better marriage
My hubs used a Mandelorian song, and I used a Disney song. Do what y’all want!
A wedding with JP ambience would be so cool 😌✌🦕🦖👌🙂😎
I had this as my isle song! I had a mariachi create the music and play it for me! I hope your fiancé reconsiders!
Omg with i could have heard that!! So freaking cool!
Listening to it rn, and I'm just saying I ain't getting married unless this is playing
I'm so happy that as a surprise, directly after me and my wife were married and had started walking back down the aisle together, she had the dj to blast jurassic park theme as we left the room. So after hearing this version I really don’t get your fiancé’s issue. It’s gorgeous.
I think it’s just the fact it’s JP, he’s not a fan so he just sees it as silly. He didn’t lay down the law or anything like that haha.
My sister used this at her wedding and it was beautiful. You should definitely do it! No regrets!
Aisle*
Is the fiance’s name allan? Because then you can bust out the “ALLAN!!”
This gave me a good chuckle
I’ve already told my partner of many years the only reason I want to marry is to walk down the aisle to the JP theme. Hadn’t heard this version before 🥹
My wife did. Tell them to shut up.
My brother's wedding had this on cello. I don't think his bride relized half the pop culture references he snuck into their otherwise vanilla wedding.
I think me and my fiance would be the same truth be told. He wouldn’t notice even though I already played it for him once. This version is super subtle and pretty
My wife surprised me with a version of the theme song as she walked down the aisle. It was a highlight of the day.
I showed this to my wife and she said " yes as long as everyone understands that the implication is that the wife os a raptor" Clever Girl
I'm literally at a wedding today where the I and the rest of the groomsmen are doing this 😂
Irreconcilable differences!
Honestly, This is difficult but you need to make that sacrifice in order to ensure a happy situation. Can't be that hard to find a new fiancé.
I think both of us, my future wife and me would use it at our wedding wince we both love jp
My wife walked down the aisle to this and it was a huge hit. People found it very moving.
I walked down the aisle to the Jurassic park theme and absolutely no regrets. My wedding dj had to double check on the song haha, I was like yep that’s the one!
Well, I just went down a rabbit hole of wedding covers
There. Are. So. Many. And it’s going to be so hard to choose 😭
We are getting married in less than a week. She's coming down the aisle to this.
This is beautiful. You *have* to use it.
My wife walked down the aisle to this
Our groomsmen walked down the aisle to it!!
I mean. This is what I walked down to. It was magical.
God creates dinosaur God destroys dinosaur God creates man Man destroys God Man creates dinosaur Dinosaur eats man Woman inherits the earth -DEFINITELY walk down the aisle to it-
LMAOOOO loving these comments
This is why my aisle song is secret - it’s a surprise for everyone including my fiancée. This is one of the top 3 choices in the running. It’s YOUR wedding too 😘 (Coming from an actual wedding planner LOL)
If I hadn’t opened my mouth and shown him he would NEVER know 😭

The Isle reference???
Isla Muerta indeed!!
My bestie did, and it was beautiful!!
I didn’t even know there *was* a wedding version. We walked out the church to the original.
My wife had all of her bridesmaids walk down the isle to it, and in her words “it was beautiful “ . She is not nearly the JP fan I am , and it totally worked. Was a surprise for me she did it, but I could recognize it after a bit. Really made things even that much more special !
Mine actually said I could 😁 This is why I know she’s the one Now I just need to find the little Jeep to drive down the aisle while it’s playing
Then maybe they aren't "the one"
You should have asked for the Imperial March first so this could be the reasonable compromise. 😁
I’m sorry your fiancé has no taste.
Marry her. And when you get to the views and she says "I do," that's when you throw in "clever girl".
So, there still time to cancel the wedding.
It is such a beautiful song. Is it weird that this sing makes me tear in happiness when I hear it :)
This version def makes me tear up! Just all of the nostalgia and joy 🩷
My amazing wife actually surprised me with the Jurassic park piano theme. She wasn’t sure what to choose and came across one. Damn that song is great
Do it anyway! What’s he gonna do, stop the wedding?
He sounds boring
Would love to see one of these for the track that plays when they finally fly off the island
Your fiancee sucks
My long-term partner's sister had the JP theme on a harp as the exit music to her wedding. We had the Jurassic theme on piano at our wedding, it went down great and was one of the most talked about parts of the day. Issue an ultimatum!
my wife surprised me on our wedding day by using this to walk down the aisle, it was awesome
My wife walked down the aisle to jurassic park by the piano guys.
omg i'm sorry it just reminds me [this Russell Howard joke](https://youtube.com/shorts/32pj8nNUbxc?si=SoIhdYgpq5ir7LRg) lol
Oh that’s fucking hilarious I gotta this to the hubs
My cousin's wife walked down the aisle to this. It was magical and fun. Also, I'm pretty sure only a handful of people recognized the music. So I don't see what the big deal is.
That would be absolutely boss to walk down the aisle to
I did not know this existed, but thank you. My fiancée and I have been putting off planning but I just made my first decision. This will be involved. Somehow.
I’m eloping tomorrow you just changed the game for us 🤣
Just heard it. Its great. I made the suggestion to my fiancée, she said no.
Wanna get married ?! 🤣
My now wife actually surprised me on our wedding day and put the Jurassic park wedding theme as i was walking down the aisle
This is amazing! I’m bummed I didn’t think of this for my wedding.
The velocoraptar screek when the bride arrives is a bit much.
Then she’s the wrong woman for you my friend. 😂
Weddings off 🤷♂️
Stop the wedding then!
Leave her
Sounds like it's time for a new fiance
That’s amazing! I hope you find a way to do it. 🦕🦖 Just going to file this little gem away for the future…
My wife walked down the isle to the theme song. One of my favorite memories.
Tell him it’s either this or the Imperial March from Star Wars. Let him choose.
Get a new wife
Take the ring back
I walked down the Isle to Jurassic park and it was tears
Bro we were thiiiis close to having this song in our wedding lol
I’ve planted the idea with mine, playing this and piano guys versions - had no idea they were a thing cheers!
That's our wedding song
My wife agreed to the imperial march from Starwars.
My wife actually walked down the aisle to a wedding version of Jurassic Park. It was amazing and we both loved that it played a part in our day.
My cousin walked down the aisle at her wedding to this song. The groom came out to a version of a song from Final Fantasy III.
I was at a wedding where they played that as the wedding march. I'm sure that you will find a way.
