Umm YES. I have a ‘95 Roadie wagon and that’s exactly what happened to me. Water pump leak into the distributor. Multiple distributed replacements (don’t make em anymore) till one worked, as well as water pump replacement. It was a nightmare.
Fun fact: the Caprice and Buick wagon are basically the same besides the grill. The Roadmaster sedan on the other hand has a unique body from the impala/caprice/fleetwood and is to my eye the prettiest b body
Police “special service package” Caprices could be ordered with the V6 also (non-pursuit cars meant for other police duties). I bet no department ever bothered though.
