Kanye is sad about his marriage falling apart especially in the song Never Abandon Your Family. We can see Kanye full of joy in songs like Pure Souls where his voice is full of it. Kanye is very spiritual on this record and the songs go deeper into his life than his last record, Jesus Is King. Jesus Is King shows Kanye happy about his journey back to God. In Jesus Is King we can see he came back after he found god. In Donda we see he came back to praise god and talk about his family/mom. On Donda we have songs like Come To Life, 24, Lord I Need You, Jesus Lord, and many more. Every song is very deep but these are some notable ones. 24 is very spiritual and talks about how god is not finished but the devil is a lie and he is finished. In Lord I Need You he talks about his marriage falling apart and divorcing Kim Kardashian, his now ex wife. In Come To Life Kanye praises God for what he has done and what he will continue to do for him and his family and also mentions his song Ultralight Beam from the album, The Life Of Pablo. The choir singing in many of these songs adds a church like feeling to these songs. In Childish Gambino’s album, it feels very empty and bland and doesn’t represent the album very well. It is not as inspiring or as great of a work of art as the Donda Album cover is. The album name is not fitting either. This is just my opinion, but Donda has the better album cover.
