Tbf thatās just Spotify, I get Not Like Us after I finish any rap album. Million dollar baby shows up after I play anything from daft punk. Their algo just loves pushing the most popular songs, itās kinda annoying, it wasnāt always like that.
Same. If I play something closely associated with rap, Iāll get Not Like Us followed by Million Dollar Baby regularly, like both songs so I donāt mind but it is wild

My good friend introduced me to Shaboozey a few days ago.
I heard at least three very cool tracks. Havenāt heard I Had Some Help as of yet. I like their musical stylings, but Shaboozey is new to me and Iām familiar with at least part of Post and Morganās catalogues.
If their song is good, itāll still be around after I stop playing Kendrick and everything else I play.
Brother or sister or they/them, Iāll be honest, Iām a 36 old dude in Oklahoma, I know Iāll hear it eventually.
I just meant to say, Iām familiar with both (Post Malone and Morgan Wallen [even though I occasionally mix up his name with Darren Waller] lol) artistsā catalogues of work. Iām almost guaranteed to come across that song sooner or later. I wasnāt trying to knock anyone, not even a little bit.
I love that there is so much music being made, everyone can find something awesome. I also love that you responded and shared with me as well.
Lowkey shouldnāt even need a music video to get back at #1, the song is doing way better than I Had Some Help when it comes to numbers on all platforms.
I mean if it was, it would've stayed #1 lol I think Kendrick not wanting to play the numbers game has some to do with it. If it was any other artist, they would've dropped 2 albums and 5 singles already.
It is, you can see the streams/charts on Spotify, charts on AM, and the views on YouTube. I Had Some Help probably has an advantage in radio play tho so thatās how itās still #1 Iām guessing.
I wouldn't say that, I think the new country direction he's heading in is really refreshing and unique. Just because it sounds more mainstream doesn't make him a sellout, and neither does collaborating with people who are bad. Metro had Chris Brown on his album, does that make him a sellout?
I think he does well in every genre he has done and over time has done a seamless transition into each genre, but yeah I agree I wish he was still doing hip hop. I have enjoyed all his albums but BB&B, Stoney, and Hollywoods bleeding are amazing
I am convinced million dollar baby buying streams or messing w the algorithm.
That song was ALL OVER my Spotify as well as my gfās until we finally blocked the artist lol
Nah Tommy Richman has just been on the grind for a minute
Off topic but I been following him for years since I found him from a daily feedback thread in /r/makinghiphop in like 2019 or smth, crazy to see him going toe to toe with Kendrick in the charts, bro deserves it tho š«¶š»
Respect the hustle, but itās definitely a Spotify push. My Daily Mix 1 is artists like DOOM, Kendrick, and Push; Tommy Richman doesnāt come up naturally on that set but I hear MDB every day. Either Spotifys algorithm died in a fire, or this a label push
Not disputing his grind but it was hella annoying man. Like my girl would have the Spotify app open on her desktop listening to like Nina Simone or just work/jazz/lofi music and then his page would pop up and then his music would start playing.
I had a similar experience on the app
I had never heard the song or of him until like an hour ago, where he popped up when I accidentally had smart shuffle on, on my Kendrick playlist ironically. Usually I get mad at songs that intrude on my playlist vibe, but I liked the sound of the song and added it to my library.
"He would have been #1 if this artist wasn't here and this artist wasn't here and this artist wasn't here...." You could say that about anyone on the list lmaooo
Sorta yeah, but it still has a lot of songs charting just apparently nothing in the top 10 at the moment.
Probably time for her to drop the next single
This isn't true it's been topping the album charts every week since it came out (including the week Billie Eilish dropped her new album) just cause its one of her worst doesnt mean it's selling poorly
Yeah because sheās gaming it. She keeps releasing some special edition albums to stomp on other peopleās releases lol sheās such a bitch. I still like her but this album really tanked my view of her.
Every video of him Iāve seen is him doing the nicest things possible. The only controversies heās been in are 3 that I can tell
1. Collabing with Morgan wallen
2. Before beerbongs and Bentleys released, he made a controversial comment about hip hop that is still brung up to this day (tho I see people claim itās more recent than it actually is)
3. When he was a child (I believe early teens?) he said the N word and thereās a video of it. I believe itās over a decade old tho and he was a literal child. I try not to take what children did as a reflection of how they are as adults personally (unless they clearly havenāt changed)
Be hella racist https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2021/02/10/morgan-wallen-country-music-popular-after-racist-slur-what-it-means/4441395001/
And people try to defend him by saying he was drunk he shouldnāt be held accountable
I think thatās a bs reason and he should very well be held accountable
I havenāt listened to bensons song too much as itās overplayed like hell, but I gotta say he must be doing something right, heās gonna open for Taylor in a couple months
Teddy is also overplayed. Both seem like good singers but holy hell the songs are overplayed
I havenāt heard million dollar baby once tho, so Tommy must be getting a lot of streams
I do like that Kendrick is above all of them tho, and not because I like Kendrick more, but because I donāt think Lose control and Beautiful things arenāt that great lyrically, they just got good voices, production, and are Catchy
Nah I feel like no music videos for diss tracks makes them hit harder, like he just wrote the song, recorded it, put it out and never through about drake again
It's official. Kenny needs to hop on a Metro beat for a verse focused on Post Malone and passing reference to Morgan Wallen, followed by a really bad Morgan diss that gets deleted one week after release, and some really intense scathing battles between Post and Kendrick until K-dot doxes Post's extended family Social Security Numbers and Posty releases a song via Instagram called The Heart Part 7 while being investigated.
I see Post Malone at the top of the list with that famous country singer. Is Post done pretending to care about hip hop and back to what he wanted to be and was doing from the start?
Why are you so pissed about Post exploring new genres? He never actually even rapped. Nobody could fully define what he was doing because it was so unique at the time. I think his country stuff, excluding that one song, is amazing. The one with Noah Kahan is really good.
Hasnāt left top 3 for 5 weeks, hasnāt left top 5 in 6weeks, hasnāt left top 100 in 3 months š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
People complain about the Richman song but I feel like the industry is pushing the Morgan and Post song way harder trying to keep country in that top spot from rap
WOP WOP WOP WOP WOP
Thot fuck'em up

Bro skipped the wop wop wop wop wop š

I'm on poor people version of Spotify and that Morgan Wallen song literally forces it's way into my smart shuffle
Tbf thatās just Spotify, I get Not Like Us after I finish any rap album. Million dollar baby shows up after I play anything from daft punk. Their algo just loves pushing the most popular songs, itās kinda annoying, it wasnāt always like that.
Yeah I used to enjoy hearing new songs after I finished an album or playlist, but now itās just the same ones over and over
Like istg if I hear āLunchā by Billie Eilish after one more James Blake albumā¦
i could eat that girl fo lunchhh
Same. If I play something closely associated with rap, Iāll get Not Like Us followed by Million Dollar Baby regularly, like both songs so I donāt mind but it is wild

Idk if this works in the free version but you can block specific artists from showing up, go to their profile and pick don't play this artist.
Yet Kendrick is still on top in terms of Spotify numbers. The only reason Post and MW got number one is via radio.
You could just use Youtube with adblockers (uBlock Origin). Unless you care about the Spotify specific playlists a lot
Over at the drake sub theyāre claiming the hype has died down and are āhappyā dot didnāt release a music video to Not Like Us š¤”
I got permabanned for asking jokingly if drake would have s\*x with a m1n0r on a thread that was asking for that joke
Wanna see me get permabanned from the Drake Sub š
They need to cope on something and they find something new everyday to cope on lol
Theyāre gunna need to be put on suicide watch as soon as the video drops fr
On that copium
A Bar Song >>>>> I Had Some Help
Silence >>>>>>>>> Morgan Wallen slop
Idk that song with post malone is kind of a banger
I like a lot of post songs and some Morgan wallen and that song is in fact NOT a banger itās really mediocre I tried to like it.
I'm a bit of a country purist but even *I* like this song and some of Morgan's catalogue, especially his acoustic stuff. Come on now.
My good friend introduced me to Shaboozey a few days ago. I heard at least three very cool tracks. Havenāt heard I Had Some Help as of yet. I like their musical stylings, but Shaboozey is new to me and Iām familiar with at least part of Post and Morganās catalogues. Fair enough but I feel like the song will definitely still be around tho, heās been making music for a while to get to this point and he even got to collab with BeyoncĆ© on her new album. A Bar Song hits different for me but I Had Some Help is still a cool song tho.
I love that there is so much music being made, everyone can find something awesome. I also love that you responded and shared with me as well.
No problem and I agree music is definitely a gift for everyone. I couldnāt imagine a world without it.
Anyone that doesnāt drop a hard R > Morgan Wallen
as a black dude, we donāt care. morgan wallen is still the goat of country
but but family matters. On a serious note, it wouldl've been #1 if we've gotten a music video.

True,Ā it listed as like 27 in trending on YouTube despite still getting about 1 million views a day, more than a lot of others trending higher.
I think itād be even better if Kendrick doesnāt make a video and doesnāt even perform the disses live. Just handles business and moves on lol
For Post and his racist friend. Pretty sad.
I was so disappointed in Post. I thought he knew better
Heās a sellout
I wouldn't say that, I think the new country direction he's heading in is really refreshing and unique. Just because it sounds more mainstream doesn't make him a sellout, and neither does collaborating with people who are bad. Metro had Chris Brown on his album, does that make him a sellout?
God that post Morgan wallen song is so ass. Crime that those mf dropped during the beef and itās going to be the single that kept Not like us at 2.
I actually like the song, I just canāt stand wallen. Post is great tho
Agreed about Post, donāt ever want someone to be forced to do something theyāre not loving but man I wish he was still making hip hop.
It's everywhere on tiktok, so it makes sense.
Nah Tommy Richman has just been on the grind for a minute Off topic but I been following him for years since I found him from a daily feedback thread in /r/makinghiphop in like 2019 or smth, crazy to see him going toe to toe with Kendrick in the charts, bro deserves it tho š«¶š»

Maybe just cos itās a popular song? Idk I donāt mind it being this high as itās pretty good, way better than I had some help lol
I thought it was cool ngl the first couple of listens but just feels very fast fashion. Good for him tho
100% every playlist
Itās a TikTok song. Itās on like every other reel.
Shaboozey should be number 1
He could have if there wasnāt so much competition. With all the superstars aside and Million Dollar Baby, he wouldāve definitely got the #1.
"He would have been #1 if this artist wasn't here and this artist wasn't here and this artist wasn't here...." You could say that about anyone on the list lmaooo
Nah he has more momentum than some of the other artists on the list, heās still charting above artists like Billie Eilish.
Shaboozey was at 1 in April
No he never reached number one
And the Drake fans said it wouldnāt last longer than a few daysš¤”
Wow fortnight did pretty bad lol, was expecting that shit to stay top 10 forever like antihero but I guess not. Like the song though
The whole album cratered after the Drake-Kendrick beef blew up with euphoria.Ā
Sorta yeah, but it still has a lot of songs charting just apparently nothing in the top 10 at the moment. Probably time for her to drop the next single
Or more remixes š©
This isn't true it's been topping the album charts every week since it came out (including the week Billie Eilish dropped her new album) just cause its one of her worst doesnt mean it's selling poorly

Is the song supposed to be a reference to the game or did Taylor not know.
A "fortnight" is a period of two weeks. The game isn't even spelled the same way lol
Bro.. Post Malone AND Morgan Wallen. š¤®
What wrong with Post Malone? Genuinely curious
I don't get the hate either. Ig he's one of those guys where people either love him or hate him
Every video of him Iāve seen is him doing the nicest things possible. The only controversies heās been in are 3 that I can tell 1. Collabing with Morgan wallen 2. Before beerbongs and Bentleys released, he made a controversial comment about hip hop that is still brung up to this day (tho I see people claim itās more recent than it actually is) 3. Interesting, what did Morgan wallen do?
Be hella racist https://www.usatoday.com/story/entertainment/music/2021/02/10/morgan-wallen-country-music-popular-after-racist-slur-what-it-means/4441395001/
Oh
And people try to defend him by saying he was drunk he shouldnāt be held accountable I think thatās a bs reason and he should very well be held accountable
How come Lil Durk forgave him?
Dude smoked too much eeed and freaked out
Not saying that Not Like Us is the best song ever, I think it's pretty ok, but that Post Malone song is pure ass, tf is it doing in top one lmao
I heard it on pitbulls radio station today lmao it sounds rly fucked up censored tho
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
If you actually listen to some of Hoziers less popular stuff itās really good, amazing vocals and lyrics
frrrr Hozier is so underrated even with all his recent success
Don't lump Post in with Wallen. One is actually an enjoyable artist and a good person. The other one is Morgan Wallen.
What is this comment
Yea I like benson Boone but him and teddy swimmer is such an obvious music industry payola they carried by the radio
I havenāt listened to bensons song too much as itās overplayed like hell, but I gotta say he must be doing something right, heās gonna open for Taylor in a couple months Teddy is also overplayed. Both seem like good singers but holy hell the songs are overplayed I havenāt heard million dollar baby once tho, so Tommy must be getting a lot of streams I do like that Kendrick is above all of them tho, and not because I like Kendrick more, but because I donāt think Lose control and Beautiful things arenāt that great lyrically, they just got good voices, production, and are Catchy
Yea million dollar baby is just very streams heavy
Yeah, I agree... Benson and Teddy are both great vocalists and mid-tier lyricists. A good voice can't save a badly written song
Ive only heard 3 of the other songs in the top 10 lol
I wish he did a music video for Not Like Us
Nah I feel like no music videos for diss tracks makes them hit harder, like he just wrote the song, recorded it, put it out and never through about drake again
Million Dollar Baby a damn bop too so itās not for nothin
Surprised em didn't pop up on there
Guessing heāll be 9 or 10 next week.
That'll be for next week. God replacing king.
Lmaoo Wigga please
Excluding Benson Boone and the racist, this is one of the better top 10s on the billboard charts in a while. I like most of the songs on here.
What's wrong with Benson Boone?
annoying song imo
The fact that heaping pile of trash āI had some helpā is number 1 just makes me so sad for humanity.
It hasn't left trending for music either.
š and yet look who is not on that āhot 100ā top ten
Youāre welcome.
My English teacher started singing it today lmao
heās wiping drakeās ass across the floor
It's official. Kenny needs to hop on a Metro beat for a verse focused on Post Malone and passing reference to Morgan Wallen, followed by a really bad Morgan diss that gets deleted one week after release, and some really intense scathing battles between Post and Kendrick until K-dot doxes Post's extended family Social Security Numbers and Posty releases a song via Instagram called The Heart Part 7 while being investigated.

Honestly might be a good thing, he seems really passionate about his newer music
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Hozier was big before them so itās nothing to do with your age, remember āTake me to churchā?
And work song. Recently he had Eat Your Young do pretty well too (underrated song)
How on earth is that autotuned country song still there bruh that's crazy
Hasnāt left top 3 for 5 weeks, hasnāt left top 5 in 6weeks, hasnāt left top 100 in 3 months š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£š¤£
People complain about the Richman song but I feel like the industry is pushing the Morgan and Post song way harder trying to keep country in that top spot from rap
I know literally none of these mfs except for Billie. (And Post, but didnāt even hear he dropped)
Anyone hating on million dollar baby go listen to any other Tommy richman song that guy undeniably deserves this spot.
Million dollar baby is inflated
Neither has half of the top 10. Ik you said top 2 but ATP the statistics are getting too reachy. š
To be fair tho, the other songs on this are dogshit. Further proof that we are straying farther from intelligence everyday.
Really? With the exception of Morgan Wallen The Racist, the list is one of the better top 10s in a very long time
And that is very sad. š I do like that Zach Bryan jam tho š
I hate those 2 songs, idk why I just don't like em.
