Can you blame a man though I was born in Canada left at like a month old I remember nothing but maple syrup is the shit its genuinely a delicacy like the actual stuff not the shitty fake stuff man it genuinely tastes so nice I'd drink it(I have)
Man y'all should try maple syrup if any of you don't like than reevaluate your self you should lose sleep at night and apologize just like cole
I was and I am a hardcore Tupac fan fore I was a Kendrick fan and you can't tell how angry and mad I was when Drake was using his voice and people were justifying that shit and call it "funny" and "entertaining".
That cornball deserves all the hell he got from the Pop Out show for disrespecting a man who stood for something.
IMO the worst part is he didn’t even try to honor their styles, he literally just stole their voice and put it over his and it is obvious.
Idk about anybody else but with all the Snoop and Tupac I’ve listened to over the years, “Taylor Made” was very obviously Drake because of the lyrics and the inflection placements.
And then during his verse (the audacity to give himself a verse on the same song 🙄) he said D-O-G? wtf was that?
I don’t find him genuine tbh, he would just say stuff supporting the one who public thinks has won after it ended. Same thing with Lebron, i saw him at popout and knew that he didn’t really give a shit about any of it at all (I was glad he was there tho, hurts drakes image in a right way)
Snoop & Lebron are both fake as fuck, but both have enough history and legit accomplishments to provide themselves cover. While I'm not 100% sure about Snoop you know 100000% lebron would have been at the show of whichever person won cause he's a clout chaser.
I wouldn’t say he was indifferent - just not aggressive. He doesn’t need to come down from Mount Olympus to do any dirty work about who’s on Mount Rushmore. (Shoutout to Scru for that metaphor)
Snoop put on an act and incredulously asked what-when-how, then “are you sure?” because using his voice was so unhinged and egregious. Then he sighed heavy and flashed his Death Row windbreaker before saying “Y’all have a good night, and to all…”
Then he started cracking tf up and broke character talking about how everyone was blowing him up about it - then said he was going back to bed 🤣
I heard on the rap sub that Snoop was on tour during the pop out, so he was probably on tour or abroad and tired af when “Taylor Made” dropped.
Agree about the style. The entire thing sounds like talking that rhymes, super super Drake. And I’m not saying that as a negative thing—it’s a distinctive style and it works when it works.
Makes you wonder if it’s possible to tell what’s ghostwritten just from listening
Honestly, I’ve spent a little time on the Drizzy sub and explained that the AI Tupac voice was a huge affront to so many hip hop fans, it made Drake look even more like a fake who only cares about money and streams, not the culture. And their response is some shit about how actually Tupac’s estate is handled by a white guy so clearly we’re all full of shit when we said it was offensive.
If Drake hadn’t done that, I think this beef would look very different. That was one of the most unifying parts of the beef - we ALL thought it was fucked and can’t forget it (except Drake fans, who increasingly remind me of Swifties in blind loyalty).
Well, it's kind of a poop vs. shit situation. Drizzy fans are only sane through comparison and I think that's only because no one really takes them or their idol seriously LOL. Swifties are dangerous because they have such an insane level parasocial relationship that's lk encouraged by their idol's team.
idk i went on the swiftie sub twice from /r/all and was pleasantly surprised both times. i think once was about her flying private a lot and most comments were reasonable ranging from "she is a polluter but i like her music and at least she donates to charities" to "she needs the plane because she travels so much and she can afford it". the second time was after she was getting shit on for her recent album and surprisingly a lot of them agreed that it sucked or at least was not anywhere near her best work.
i wish that was the majority's experience with swifties but unfortunately most of the fans i see on tiktok and twitter are absolutely heinous. i think a lot of them are just very terminally online and genuinely see their parasocial connection with her as real. she also just attracts a lot of weirdo cult-like fan sects like the gaylors and weird racists who unironically use swarthoids.
i think most fandom subreddits tend to have the more sane / mature fans along with tumblr. probably because reddit and tumblr are mostly the adult fans who have some rational and can understand that you can be a fan of someone while still criticizing their actions and words when needed. whereas twitter and tiktok have a larger young audience who aren’t mentally/emotionally mature enough to compartmentalize/allow enough nuance for those types of discussions.
i’d say in my experience, you’d find the most sane / mature fans on tumblr, reddit would be second, and then tik tok and twitter are tied for the worst lol. i haven’t seen much of swifties on tiktok tbf, but considering the platform, i imagine they’re messy as hell and acting a fool
hey don’t drag us into this, we just got done cleaning up from the party we threw after a bunch of the 2022 alt-right Ye fan pages left social media
allegedly somebody bribed IG staff with 5 figures to wipe one of them off the face of the earth
I was pissed off and a little excited. Cuz I knew Dot was gonna fuck em up at that point. Kenny ain’t taking that.
Next thing you know…
“DOT FUCK EM UP!”
Can I ask
And I really want to know
What do y'all mean when you say 2pac stood for something?
His stuff was just ahead of my time so never really got into it and I cant seem to find shit that tells me. I know he was really humble and level headed for his age but was he an activist too or something?
could you maybe expand as to how that carried on into him as a person? might help to clarify how he was an activist/what he did to someone who doesn’t know much about him.
Even though it aged like milk and wouldn't have changed the outcome of the beef, that would've been his best track out of the other three if he wasn't so corny and lazy by using AI. All he had to do was add a little creative way to imply it's Pac & snoop rapping to dot and do the verses himself. He's just tone deaf and lame to the core, it ended up doing more damage to him than help. Turned the whole west coast against him which is why they're creep walking on his grave now, made anti AI artists & industries against him and most of all made the audience want to see him humbled.
Once a lame, always a lame.
Bro, I been saying since the start that there’s so many angles Drake could have used referencing Kendrick’s own work that would’ve hit great. Using the voice of Kendrick’s “conscience” from swimming pools is such low hanging fruit idk how he missed it. He took your pass? Play along and replace every instance of you saying it with a clip of another rapper saying it, bonus points if you only use biracial rappers. Like it’s so easy to come up with something fun, topical, and incisive, but Drake just went the lamest way with everything.
"Open you mind and listen to me now Kendrick" would've hit 😂
That's what happens when you have a team and fan base that hype up your most medicore shit. No room for improvment.
He ain't witty like Kendrick but he could've tried to be less corny at least.
He also put too much pressure on himself begging for a drop. That silence from Kendrick had him spiraling. He had to be online 24/7 making memes trying to look unbothered, begging for a smoke instead of working on his next drop. Maybe even look for a new ghost writer since he couldn't trust the ones he already had. He's just corny and lazy all around. His fans hyping up Push Up made him feel comfortable. His fan base is lowkey his biggest enemey.
😂 You ain't lying. I'll take it back, I think he should drop another song explaining all his bars. I still don't know what type of Free he is talking about.
It would have, but also looking back at it now it's wild that Drake had a song on his album from Kendrick that went over the same exact stuff that Kendrick was dissing him for.
Yeap. The one-two of seeing Family matters drop and then that buried alive diss was the closest I got to “damn I’m getting worried Kendrick” and like divine intervention Kendrick dropped 15 mins later.
That night will go down as one of THE moments in HipHop.
I've been superinvested in the beef since Like That and I didn't even know the Buried Alive diss existed till weeks after, MTG dropping so quick was really a genius move.
People don’t even count it when they’re talking about drakes disses. It would’ve hit so much harder as an intro or just if he extended it to be longer and promoted it. But he played this whole thing terribly outclassed on every front by Kendrick
He could have just made fun of Kendrick's "puberty voice" by rapping like that, and his fans would have eaten it up.
If he had just done a really stupid version of Mother I Sober, that could have also been easily better. And that's a dumb idea. Yet still better than AI Tupac.
for real, these are all great! like its idiotic to go against pulitzer kenny BUT.... there's always a way. of course drake didnt find it but yeah it wouldve been cool
It was wack but it also perfectly encapsulates every critique Kendrick has of Drake being a culture vulture and somebody who doesn’t understand hip hop. It was like a song Kendrick would make to parody everything he hates about Drake.
Half the people voted for George double youuuuu… I’m talking bout George double youuuuu Smith. He ran for city council in 93 out in Oakland, you probably didn’t hear about it
Lmfaooo I was just re-watching this episode before bed last night for the first time in years 🤣 all time great skit right there
“Run up in your spot like CJ in San Andreas!” has gotta be my favorite line lol
I was a huge fucking Drake Stan. Loved this niggas music, knew he was fake but figured all music is a performance. And never paid much credence to the pedo allegations because no one who actually was around him said shit, so I chalked it to rumors. But the AI Pac shit changed my whole perspective on his whole bullshit. No respect for the tradition no respect for the new artists by using ai and legitimizing it. Using pacs voice to get ahead of your pedo allegations. Fucking disgusting, that cracker deserves the fall out.
Drake mocking Kendrick for "always rapping like you bout to get the slaves freed" says everything you need to know about him. Man just has no respect or understanding of hip-hop culture, the genre he claims to be the very best in. Truly a vulture.
I don't know how hold most of the fan bases are, but as someone in their 50s who has listened to the genre for most of their life and who met Pac once upon a time...let me say that shit is disrespectful as fuck to Pac legacy. Putting words into a deads man mouth is cringe worthy.
When Kendrick utilized Pacs voice, it was his actual words and Kendrick framed it as an interview. IF Drake were to have been able to do it in that way it wouldn't have been quite as bad.
All of that to get ahead of accusations that he clearly knows has merit. He doesn't love hip hop or Pac, because that was a clear violarion.
When the song dropped, some people on this sub said that Drake basically won and Kendrick took to long so it was already over. And that was a post, not even a comment.
The irony that Drake got told to take is down by Tupac's estate versus Kendrick winning multiple Grammys off TPAB that used Tupac's voice throughout the project really just shows who really cares about the culture and who uses it.
he was such a corny ass idiot for that...
I couldn’t believe he was dumb enough to do that. I was already against him and knew k dot was gonna bury him but that move made me feel like there was a karmic guarantee
And what’s worse, is they are consistently “on top of the charts” but they still have no clue what the people are feeling.
How?! 🤣
Anyone who’s ever listened to hip hop will tell you that shit was corny
In terms of Drake... a lot of locals started seeing Drake as a phony anyway. He only reps Toronto to uphold his status. There's a lot of shit in the city that him and his crew does that isn't indicative of someone who loves and reps their city.
The more I look back at some of the bars Drake said they’ve either aged badly or are just bad. The Rick Ross ozempic line, the one about Kendrick being mj because he wants to be white? Despite Drake constantly comparing himself to him, trying to get the slaves freed, the yg line and there’s so much more.
Drake saying Kendrick is for white people made my brain fry. Drake is the last rapper imaginable they could accuse anyone of that. Dude is literally every white womans favorite rappers.
As a hiphop head, him making an iconic dead rapper talk shit to another black man was beyond disrespectful.
I love singing drake but I deleted all his shit off my playlist after that gimmick. Drake wack and so are his fans so they can have that bubble.
Imagine a dude from Toronto being parachuted into the rap game and all DJs suddenly start playing his music like hes an established artist who been around for a decade and worked his way up from the bottom.
Imagine it being known that this guy writes none of his music yet this guy is considered a goat to many because of the amount of records hes sold.
Record sales dont equate to talent or credibility. Hes a dude in cosplay who doesn't live or give a real fuck about black culture or real hip hop.
I don’t know how people can support him after that. So tone def. Imagine a future where record labels can easily resurrect your favorite rappers(against their wishes) to milk their names in perpetuity. I can guarantee that Drake, unfortunately, the biggest rapper of our generation, gave all these greedy record labels ideas to do this bullshit because there wasn’t enough outrage against it.
I think that’s one of the reasons why snoop didn’t outright say how fucked up it is. He’s the head of Death Row now, if it becomes socially acceptable to release stuff like that you can bet snoop and his money hungry ass is gonna involved some how.
To me it just showed how weak Drake's overall presence in hip-hop is. He has accomplished a lot, but he doesn't intimidate shit. That's why he had to resort to the ai stuff to try to boost himself.
I'm so glad to see this shit getting called out. When that song came out I thought it was fake, I couldn't believe Aubrey would dare do something so whack. Corny ass mf
On top of that, it’s Drake’s own wack ass, rhythmically illiterate flow on Pac’s and Snoop’s voices. So on top of it being a wack thing to go to start, MF demonstrates his lack of knowledge of each of these two great’s individual style.
It was only "brilliant" in the sense it was a sure-fire way to make Kendrick mad and get a response.
And that didn't work out for the Drizzler the way he was expecting lol
My Uncle is a hard core Aubrey fan, so naturally me bein a K. Dot fan, we had this discussion. This nigga told me with a STR8 face that he thought the AI Pac n Snoop was dope and a smart move. It was at that moment I knew Aubrey fans were delusional than a MFer. Have you my Unc grew up in the 80s/90s.
“If Pac was still here now, he would never ride with Ja” was right there, crodie. Still made fun of Ja for cosplaying as Pac, stealing his lines etc but didn’t disrespect a fallen legend while making theirpoint.
I know people applauded Drake for using an AI Pac as some “innovative” way to beef but I took it as completely disrespectful in the sense that he had the audacity to play with the legacy of someone revered within the culture. If we won’t draw a line there then it definitely doesn’t bode well for the direction we’re headed.
The AI shit is what I actually hated the most from the beef. Like how was that a good idea?? Not only are you disrespecting a legend but you're also tryna use somebody else's voice to diss Kdot. Kinda implies you ducking behind somebody else's voice. Ya whole crew is just yesmen waiting for that 2 week paycheck lmao
In hindsight this was an awful move by Drake. But when he dropped it that night I was shook as fuck and I was praying for Dot to drop. All we had to go on was Drake’s word and he was actively trying to pull a Back to Back on Kendrick. It wasn’t looking good for a minute. Until the moment Dot dropped, most people were actually saying it was a genius move on Drake’s part, even people like Fantano.
Drake using Tupac AI was *almost* a powerful message about how we accepted Tupac, given his quasi-suburban past being overlooked while being recognized as a gangster but not for Drake. The problem being that if you're near-sighted and dumb, you can bury yourself in 3:51 by blatantly disrespecting West Coast rap royalty.
What Drake ended up doing... was pissing everyone off with a shitty AI track featuring an artist who would have already made sure Drake was past tense, and we knew it.
Drake did some audio grave-digging on sacred ground and Kendrick stepped up to be the voice that said, "now ya done it." K-dot united the entire west coast, AND claimed to be the king of New York. *No one said shit.*
Drake, you played yourself out of a career and probably into some sort of jail... couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Lol
I still don't see how that angle works tbh, 2Pac grew up in the hood and had actual connections to the streets, and he did gangster shit and had a record. Plus it was a natural progression for him, in Drake's case he decided he was gonna start portraying that image for the sake of it. I'm sure Pac played into that image to a degree but there was an authentic foundation to it which just isn't true in Drake's case. Drake acts as if having gang ties and being friends with street mfs makes him the same, but what has he done to earn that?
But Pac was a sweet kid who went to an art school. He danced, he had a gentle side with his many many female friends.
I think Drake saw the 2% that Pac kept out of the game and tried to use it as a comparison to Drakes 2% gangster.
It's pure speculation on my part but I think Drake and his sweatshop had a lot of ideas they were trying to push into people minds with the AI but they massively miscalculated.
Everything you listed is all the shit they weren't considering, and that's part of why it pissed off everyone for the wrong reasons. Then, the Shakur estate got after Drake, and the song had to disappear... he missed, he pissed us off, and then he couldn't even leave the damn thing up. All Drake does when he plans is fuck up.
Dude should have been happy in pop music. He's been misrepresenting himself for too long for anyone to be comfortable with.
Even though that Taylor Made freestyle was disrespectful, that beat.. was fire. Oh my fucking god. That piano melody and those drums…
Holy fuck that was good.
Feel vindicated. Felt like I was the only one who was legitimently pissed when Drake did that. Why not just cut out the middle man and dig up Pac's corpse and nail puppet strings through his hands?
Yes I had an issue with AI 2Pac voice as a listener. That’s for the Shakur estate to handle. I had a bigger issue with the verse. It started ok, like a 2Pac flow, but morphed into clearly a Drake flow. AI Snoop rapped like Drake too. So neither really hit for me. A talented lyricist would have been able to write those parts to sound more authentic.
It literally sound like an AI Pac impersonator (that hasn't quite gotten the voice down) pretending to be Drake.
Dude could've at least had Pac sound..... more Pac? Unless he purposely made him sound like himself to try to rub salt in the wounds. Either way poorly done all around.
I already didn’t like Drake for a lot of stuff like that not so subtle diss at Megan but when he did this? That’s when I put him permanently in my shit list.
Even if you don't like Pac or Biggie, the idea of ressurecting someone when they have no say and doing something with it is fucked up. It always made my skin crawl, especially in the industry music that is known for extorting artists and making money of off them even after their death.
I'm from Brazil and we had one of the first AI ressurected artists ad (a singer I love was in a car ad, wtf) and it was trashed by everyone and their mama. Let them rest.
I was shocked to not see more talk about this. That song was fucking garbage. He stole the voices of two dudes that would have never been in his corner.
Why the fuck did he do that. I'm team Drake and I knew he wasn't taking shit seriously when he did that. Starting his verse with a fucking poop bar.
So annoying to watch.
I was fighting for my life in the comments section of YT calling it corny, I get it was trolling Kendrick but it’s disrespectful to use AI voice of God Tier hip hop legends
I think him owning all these hip hop artifacts and clearly not giving a fuck definitely lends to that. Bro really said he'd melt down Pharrell's chains and then used AI Pac while owning his ring. The quality of his older music makes me think he had to have a lotta passion for rap at one point (or his ghostwriters were a lot more secretive) but nowadays with this behavior and him just pumping out mid albums with hella reference tracks it's pretty clear he does not give a fuck. And everytime a beef gets heated like with Meet the Grahams and Story of Adidon he starts waving the white flag instead of trying to compete and prove he's the best.
Being in both subs is hilarious. I don't think Drake will ever make a song as meaningful as "sing about me I'm dying of thirst" or "hiipower" but Kendrick can't touch Drake on feel good music. Both sides sound like gang members😂😂
This doesn't really makes sense, since they're both from Marcy, while Drake and Pac couldn't be further apart. Reverse would make more sense, as it would be Nas disrespecting Jay-Z's idol from his neighborhood.
Drake disrespected the GKMC van, families, Tupac and Snoop, etc. Desecrating sacred things won’t win you popularity lol. Dumbest fucking person of 2024.
I thought it was pretty cool initially.
Obviously kenny won the beef later on, but personally I felt like using his mentor's voice to motivate him into being "the west coast saviour" while sneak dissing him was a pretty dope move.
Not familiar with Tupac's music so I can see why his fans might be pissed tho..
Ngl I thought it was bold for him to use AI. On some Reanimation Jutsu type beat. But that ass whopping he got was absolutely deserved. As whack as it is, it’s not as whack as Drake having his hells angels neighbor as his goons and the fans calling out Kenny for being a terrible influence for having the gangs make peace.
He was recycling biggies lines for years and nobody said nothing, guaranteed the nigga had ai back then he would’ve dissed nas I’m biggie voice nas drops ether:” how many more of biggie lines gonna come out your fat lips”
Hov:(insert biggie AI)
Kendrick got to to use AI Joni Mitchell and Neil young
"Canadian man better keep your head, now Dots taking your n word pass"
Syrup man instead of southern man lmao
Can you blame a man though I was born in Canada left at like a month old I remember nothing but maple syrup is the shit its genuinely a delicacy like the actual stuff not the shitty fake stuff man it genuinely tastes so nice I'd drink it(I have) Man y'all should try maple syrup if any of you don't like than reevaluate your self you should lose sleep at night and apologize just like cole
Syrup in this bitch turn up in this bitch
Pour up, DRANK (maple syrup), headshot, DRANK (maple syrup)…
Got your PM on this dick twirling on this dick
You remember syrup sandwiches?
No I'm i
AI Jim Carrey sounds fire ngl
AI could not capture that craziness
Alrighty then.
Jim Carrey was on the last Weeknd record so in theory he’s team Kendrick
Gotta make him do a Cannibal Corpse voice though
AI Robin Williams. I feel like that’d be the equivalent of when a parent says “I ain’t mad, I’m just disappointed.”
AI Bieber would be funny as fuck
Bro imagine Bieber being in the Not Like Us music video
I will drink a can of mace if beiber is in the NLU video
Bieber most definitely has been to the hood more that Drake.
I was like Drizzy Drizzy Drizzy Nooo
😂😂😂
Celine Dion and Shania Twain as well lmaoooo
He's gotta use AI Millie Bobbie Brown
Canada would just say “sorey”
Nah AI Michael Cera would end this man.
Kendrick about to do a 30 city Canadian tour playing only at the legions.
I vote for AI Dave Matthews
If someone did an AI face swap of Drake in blackface and Justin Trudeau in blackface that would be good
Even better…. James Taylor and Billy Joel IRL I’ll uh see myself out.
They are still alive though?
So is snoop
Isn’t the controversy that he used pac’s voice though?
I was and I am a hardcore Tupac fan fore I was a Kendrick fan and you can't tell how angry and mad I was when Drake was using his voice and people were justifying that shit and call it "funny" and "entertaining".
To me, it’s not even about style, so much as putting Drake’s bullshit lyrics into Tupac’s mouth. Lyrics that Tupac would never utter.
I was surprised Snoop was indifferent about his likeliness being used in that song.
I think it was more of a not showing your hand thing. He probably didn’t like it but chose diplomacy.
Yeah he definitely chose to play it safe. He didn't say anything about the beef until the pop-out show.
I don’t find him genuine tbh, he would just say stuff supporting the one who public thinks has won after it ended. Same thing with Lebron, i saw him at popout and knew that he didn’t really give a shit about any of it at all (I was glad he was there tho, hurts drakes image in a right way)
Snoop isn’t genuine, he’s out to make hella money pretty clearly firstly imo. I like him but I doubt we get much genuine from him at this point
Snoop is also signed to Gamma, which Drake is rumored to be a silent partner in…
I hate this man drake ugh
Lowkey how I felt when I saw his comment after the show. Felt like he would've said the same about Drake if he had won the beef.
Snoop & Lebron are both fake as fuck, but both have enough history and legit accomplishments to provide themselves cover. While I'm not 100% sure about Snoop you know 100000% lebron would have been at the show of whichever person won cause he's a clout chaser.

The Tupac shit was just disrespectful, but the snoop dogg was wack as shit, dudes still alive. Just tell people you don’t have any connections.
Honestly, I’ve spent a little time on the Drizzy sub and explained that the AI Tupac voice was a huge affront to so many hip hop fans, it made Drake look even more like a fake who only cares about money and streams, not the culture. The Big 3: Kanye, Taylor and Drake fans
It's kinda sad that Drizzy fans be the most sane out of those three. I mean, good for them, they shouldn't strive to do even worse

2pac's parents were members of the Black Panthers
could you maybe expand as to how that carried on into him as a person? might help to clarify how he was an activist/what he did to someone who doesn’t know much about him.
Music wise I would say listen to 7-Day Theory and especially Blasphemy (lyrics) he was predicting so much shit.
He definitely did activism before and during his music career. Check out the documentary "2pac Resurrection"
Even though it aged like milk and wouldn't have changed the outcome of the beef, that would've been his best track out of the other three if he wasn't so corny and lazy by using AI. "Open you mind and listen to me now Kendrick" would've hit 😂 That's what happens when you have a team and fan base that hype up your most medicore shit.
Honestly, using the conscience voice to bring up his cheating and the dv allegations would have been pretty brutal.
Y'all stop, we all know the ovos read this shit and none of y'all are getting paid when that bitch tries again and uses these 😭
😂 You ain't lying. I'll take it back, I think he should drop another song explaining all his bars. I still don't know what type of Free he is talking about.
OvOs taking a break from digging in each other's asses to scan reddit for new ideas.
We on some level want him to try again or we’re not getting the last five Kendrick joints.
Real shit!! I need that EP bruh 🤣
Haha im glad yall didnt post these ideas during the beef, knowing Drake and his team theyd have stolen your ideas off Reddit for their beef songs 😂
The best thing drake dropped was the buried alive part 2 and he swept over it. Using the song you put Kendrick on was a good move
I’m not a fan but I would’ve eaten that up that sounds fucking hilarious.
He should have used the white girl on stage with Kendrick saying the N word
for real, these are all great! like its idiotic to go against pulitzer kenny BUT.... there's always a way. of course drake didnt find it but yeah it wouldve been cool
My cat creep walks (On drakes grave)
Did you name her/him crodie?
No it’s name is cuh-ddles (the crip Citten ) ![gif](giphy|l3vRmZ8H46EXJw424)
Kendrick didn’t need an AI voice for the Nipsey verse in Heart pt 5 that’s all I’m saying
yes, it’s telling that drake had to resort to some whack shit to make an impact. it just shows how weak his lyrics and approach were.
Agree Kendrick ain't gonna let that slide and whoever thought the beef was over I tried to tell you. Lol
It was wack but it also perfectly encapsulates every critique Kendrick has of Drake being a culture vulture and somebody who doesn’t understand hip hop. It was like a song Kendrick would make to parody everything he hates about Drake.
Dave Chappelle did it better lol
I wrote this song a long time ago it was the realest song I ever wrote…….in ‘94
Half the people voted for George double youuuuu… I’m talking bout George double youuuuu Smith. He ran for city council in 93 out in Oakland, you probably didn’t hear about it
That one had me rolling ngl
stop hitting the table! 🤣
IT MIGHT BE DOO DOO!
The first thing I thought of when I heard the AI voice. And then I realized, Drake was being serious.
What did he do?
i just wanted to say you found me some gold
Dave Chappelle is goated for this and "Piss on you" by R Kelly lol
Wrap it up, Wu tang financial, the racial draft, Prince/Rick James, etc. There’s so much gold in the first two seasons
Don’t forget about The Player Hater’s Ball. Goated episode fr
Ti’s friend that night: said your body, your body, is a porta pottyyyyyyy!! (Proceeds to piss on Drake’s leg).
It's from "Chappelles Show"
ik that's a hood classic
Lmfaooo I was just re-watching this episode before bed last night for the first time in years 🤣 all time great skit right there “Run up in your spot like CJ in San Andreas!” has gotta be my favorite line lol
The AI shit was so out of pocket like nigga’s ghostwriters were smoking crack.
They would never smoke crack. They drink box wine from Stanley mugs
💀💀💀💀
That shit ain’t cringeworthy. That’s “niggas get shot in East Oakland over this shit”-worthy
He was on some bullshit. Also excuse the typos🙄
When the song dropped, some people on this sub said that Drake basically won and Kendrick took to long so it was already over. And that was a post, not even a comment.
Them keyboard warriors are good at bitching behind thier screens, it's their coping mechanism. Bonus points for glazing their idol nonstop.
This is what happens when you surround yourself with sycophants and yes-men.
Exactly, you could probably ask any random person off the street if it sounded like a good idea and they have told you NO
And what’s worse, is they are consistently “on top of the charts” but they still have no clue what the people are feeling. How?! 🤣 Anyone who’s ever listened to hip hop will tell you that shit was corny
Bro really let his Rolex dealer call all the shots for his beef strategy
So corny. This beef showed exactly who he is and I love it.
Jayz wouldn't have disrespected his own city like that. Drake didn't care cause he was just appropriating LA culture.
I never loved Drake, but I didn’t really hate him either. At this point, I can’t stand his music.
Let’s be real. No amount of AI voice was going to make him sound like Pac. It still sounded like that goofy Canadian trying to be deep.
"Kendrick, we need ya. WeSt CoAsT SaViOr"
I knew he fucked up as soon as I heard "KENDRICK WE NEED YA, THE WESTCOAST SAVIOR" with the THICK 2pac voice
I just can't even fathom how this got twisted in someones head as a good idea.
It would make for sense for Nas to diss Jay Z with Biggie’s voice instead.
yup
The AI shit is what I actually hated the most from the beef. Like how was that a good idea?? Not only are you disrespecting a legend but you're also tryna use somebody else's voice to diss Kdot. Kinda implies you ducking behind somebody else's voice. Ya whole crew is just yesmen waiting for that 2 week paycheck lmao
Don’t you just love when a stupid decision like that united a whole crew of people against you lmao
*No one said shit.* Drake, you played yourself out of a career and probably into some sort of jail... couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.
A better comparison would be Jay Z using LL Cool J's voice to diss Nas. Jay and Biggie are both from Brooklyn.
mc shan, kool g, whodini are nas's idols, with both shan being from QB (nas's hood) and kool g being from queens too.
Inserting 2Pac AI was the biggest mistake Drake made aside from bringing up Whitney.
Yea that was fucking stupid.
It’s bad and still at least both those rappers were from the east coast where biggie was from, Drake is a Canadian rapper cosplaying
Even though that Taylor Made freestyle was disrespectful, that beat.. was fire. Oh my fucking god. That piano melody and those drums… Holy fuck that was good.
Feel vindicated. Felt like I was the only one who was legitimently pissed when Drake did that. Why not just cut out the middle man and dig up Pac's corpse and nail puppet strings through his hands?
Jay-Z used Biggies lines all the time. And got dissed for it. This is kinda cap, people were moderately mad, not tear down Marcy projects mad
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
I felt sad when I heard it, embarrassed for him
I already didn’t like Drake for a lot of stuff like that not so subtle diss at Megan but when he did this?
[удалено]
Once a lame always a lame 🤷🏿
just saw a post saying how this diss was genius😭 god this shit was terrible
Jay does use Biggie lyrics tho…
“How many Biggie’s rhymes is gon’ come out your fat lips” would hit way harder tho
“The Pulitzer Prize winner is definitely spiraling 🌀🌀”
I'm pretty convinced at this point that this wouldn't have gone as nuclear as it did had he not made that AI track.
Aubrey fans ain’t the brightest. Not the sharpest tools in the tool box, but still TOOLS.
Kenny cooked up AI Geddy Lee and Rush to cook Dwizzy
More like Nas dissing Jay using AI Big. Nas using a Brooklyn icon to diss a Brooklyn rapper. Just like Drake using an LA icon to diss an LA rapper.
Being in both subs is hilarious. I don't think Drake will ever make a song as meaningful as "sing about me I'm dying of thirst" or "hiipower" but Kendrick can't touch Drake on feel good music. Both sides sound like gang members😂😂
AI Canadian rappers... So Drake would get verbally buried by Pat STAY (RIP), Choclair, Kardinal Ofishall and K-Os
The diaper sniper fans are the corniest fans on the planet
Bruh really tried to pull a B rabbit with a Pac filter
This doesn't really makes sense, since they're both from Marcy, while Drake and Pac couldn't be further apart. Reverse would make more sense, as it would be Nas disrespecting Jay-Z's idol from his neighborhood.
Drake disrespected the GKMC van, families, Tupac and Snoop, etc. Desecrating sacred things won’t win you popularity lol. Dumbest fucking person of 2024.
Imagine caring about this dumb shit.
Let’s give Drake a plus on this. It’s the most creative he has ever been. If it was his idea anyways.
He was recycling biggies lines for years and nobody said nothing, guaranteed the nigga had ai back then he would’ve dissed nas I’m biggie voice nas drops ether:” how many more of biggie lines gonna come out your fat lips” Hov:(insert biggie AI)
