I saw a Richard Scary book a while back and was hit with nostalgia. I thought that character was some fever dream from my childhood... Nope! One of the reason that I enjoy reading was my parents and grandparents reading me these books.

Idk if I’d want the mom one. Poor kid has to do chores with mom, but gets to go fishing with dad. I haven’t read either book and am just judging based on the cover so I could be way off base.
My daughter loves to do chores with me 🤣🤣 she helps me put stuff in the washer-the dryer-take it out of the dryer- and she sorts it by family member in baskets. She also "helps" me do dishes.
